A must place to go whenever I visit my parents in Canton. This place is so unique. If you like peanut butter, you MUST try the peanut butter coffee. It's seriously so good and not too sweet like a lot of other places. I'm honestly afraid to try anything else because it is so good. Their pastries are also amazing, especially their muffins. This location is the biggest spot, and I love how open it is. It would be great place to hangout or study. I also love all the quirky decorations they have. Regarding the staff, they have always been nice and helpful. I appreciate this place so much and can't wait till I visit my parents again, so I can go here a few times during my stay. read more

Just visited their new location that they moved into which is just down from their old location. Same great coffee and menu selection. Their menu has a great variety of coffee drinks year round and great season drinks as well. The new space is awesome!! It's spacious and has the same cool decorative feel of their original locations. I love the three large bay doors. They let in tons of light and I imagine they make the space even better when they are open and let in the refreshing air. There is sidewalk seating available. On a Saturday morning the seats receive the warm and welcoming rays of the sun. Staff are welcoming, engaging and efficient. Their was a consist flow of customers and I may have waited just a few moments for my drink. My visit occurred during COVID 19. Tremont Coffee did an exhibit with protocols. Staff has masks on. Customers were guided through the line by arrows on the floor and markers are the floor indicating where to stand to maintain proper distance. The tables are spaced out and since the space is so huge there was plenty of room to maintain distance while waiting for your order. read more

So pleased to find this local coffee shop with locations in downtown Massillon, OH and a location in Perry Township. I dropped by for a cappuccino and it was a fruity bean. The downtown Erie location is in a refurbished building with plenty of seats including compfy fireplace seating. Their menu is diverse with plenty of drink selections and they also have some light breakfast items such as avocado toast. In addition, they offer sweatshirts, hats branded with their Tremont logos. I had a chai latte at the Perry township location and it was not too sweet and had thst nice spicy chai flavor. So happy to patronize this local eatablishment over large chains. Great job! read more

I will say the coffee is very good. But it costs several dollars for a cup of regular coffee. Sometimes I don't want fancy expensive coffee. I just want a regular cup of coffee that tastes good for a couple bucks (like the "coffee of the day" at other places). If they offered that option, I'd give 5 stars. read more

I miss the idea of a *big* place with comfortable seating and large tables that *invite* people to sit down and stay. We need more community spaces, and this is just what Tremont Coffee offers in addition to some pretty darn good coffee. They are always friendly here, their chai tea lattes are amazing, and their muffins are delicious. It's always clean and they have really cute gift area (a little pricey but super cute stuff). Now here's why it's not 5 stars. It's a really silly reason but it is actually pretty inconvenient. Their bagels are THE BEST bagels I ever had. I get bagels with cream cheese and bacon. Well instead of putting the cream cheese on for me and my grandma, they give us these packets that are super hard to open. And then you have to put it on and spread it yourself. Now that's not really a huge problem if we are sitting in the building to eat, but usually after we get our food I'm going right to college so we like to eat in the car. It is super inconvenient when people have to drive and spread cream cheese on their bagel lol. And also even for me it's difficult because bumpy roads and there's no actually table to set it on to spread it. And when me and my grandma ask them if they can just put the cream cheese on for us they act like we just said the craziest thing. Just a little frustrating but other than that the place is perfect! TLDR:A gem of a coffee shop with large open space and good music/lighting. Great coffee and food. Can't go wrong. Another work trip, and this is the only local food place in massillon, Ohio I ended up trying because I fell in love. My standard for a good coffee shop is always a black iced americano - if you can't make that right, then it's not worth my time. This place had one of the best americanos I have had in a long time. I usually don't like it when my coffee has fruitier notes, but they gave the coffee a nice accent that didn't take away from the food taste of the coffee itself. Came back 2 more times as a result in 1 week. Their vanilla chai latte with oat milk made me sad I didn't have a coffee shop like this back home, and their baked goods (like gluten free lemon poppy seed muffin and breakfast croissant sandwich) we're about as good as you can get at a local coffee shop. Probably the worst thing I tried was the matcha latte, but only because the umami taste was too strong for my tastes. All in all, I really wish I could put this coffee shop into my luggage and take it back with me to Texas! read more

I knocked off a star because the hired help didn't know what they were doing, poor kiddos. Otherwise, the espresso was very delicious. They have "pour-over" and French press. I think a sign with some explanation of what those are would be helpful. I ordered a simple soy latte. The poor lad actually asked me if I wanted espresso in it...um, yes...I'd like a latte please, I repeated. The hubs ordered a double shot of espresso. Baffled, the boy asked "in what?", and "what do you want in it?" and "do you want a pour-over?" to which my husband patiently repeated, "just espresso, just espresso...". Other than the shaky service, the place is quite cute and the owner/manager/adult was roasting beans right in the cafe, which gave it a delicious and warm vibe. I'm so glad Massillon finally has a coffee place again. I'm sure the Duncan Donuts down the street makes it difficult. I hope Tremont is here to stay! I would definitely go back!
