    Tremont Burger with Tater-Tots
    Trey R.

After walking the light trail one Sunday afternoon, we began looking for a place to eat and stumbled across this place. One person in the group had rated here before so we figured we would give it a shot. Upon entrance, we were quickly seated and taken care of. We sat inside but the outdoor area looked nice and perfect for looking around on a busy Sunday. For starters, I opted to try out the Loader Potato Skins. The came out relatively quick and tasted pretty good, but they were nothing special for the $13 price tag. For the main course, I opted to eat the Tremont Burger. The burger was good, well sized, and held together throughout eating. I got the tater-tots as well which were actually really good and probably my favorite part of the meal. The restaurant has some decent food with a nice atmosphere located right near the light trail. My main issue was our waitress and staff weren't super friendly at all which just made the experience feel soulless.

Pretty mid spot all around. There are better in the area but if you're looking for a seat and not wanting a long wait, this is a good bet. We came around 8p on a Friday after checking several other places nearby (all with waits between 40min and over 90min). Initially we were seated by the bathroom hallway but requested a high top near the regular entrance/exit. We ordered a couple sandwiches (French dip and southwest caesar) and some peach mules and a beer. Food came out in a timely manner but our waitress seemed to disappear a few times. Decent meal and venue, but the food itself especially the French dip, was a little lacking. I enjoyed the Mac and cheese side though. I was hoping to find some sort of soup option too but did not see one. @azfitfoodfun

Got the breakfast burger and Mac n cheese, some of the best Mac n cheese I have tried in Charlotte! Loved the outdoor seating and they have trivia nights on Thursdays. Our server was super sweet and attentive.

It was good. Staff was great and service was quick. Nice cozy lunch spot. I had the meatball sub that felt like it could use another meatball or smaller hoagie roll (see picture). Also, it was a little too saucey and the parmesan was a little too sparse. Tater tots were awesome though. Get a side of ranch if you're into that. $21 for a meatball sub, tots and water (20% tip). Pretty average for the area.

This review is solely for the wings. Garlic Parmesan wings are the only reason you should go here. They were phenomenal!! A must try if you're in the area! Don't go here if you're looking for fast or friendly service though , you'll be looking elsewhere ! The nachos were meh but a good snack if you're walking the rail trail and need ~something~

One of the best burgers and fried pickles in the city! Well priced too with incredibly friendly service and an extensive bar as well. Tons of outdoor seating as well. TVs are all over the place. It's a great place to catch a game or just watch whatever is on that day.

Quick, easy, fresh and hot lunch option in Southend. I love the weekly specials they have. Tuesdays are $9 starters and this bang bang tenders and fries is a steal at $9. The bang bang sauce is on the side so you can add to or dip each bite. They have some of my most favorite fries in Charlotte - well seasoned waffle fries. I've only gotten food to go but will check out the bar and beer after a day in the office.

Went to Tremont for dinner with friends the other night and was very pleased! The service was great. I got the smashburger, and it may be one of my favorite burgers I've had in charlotte. The sweet potato fries weren't very good though would not recommend those but everything else was great!

Located conveniently on the rail trail, you cannot miss Tremont. It can get busier during the time of season you go, however we came during normal work lunch hours and were seated right away. Plenty of TV's for entertainment, outdoor seating for people watching, and good bar food. I ordered the Tremont burger- nothing crazy but was a pretty solid burger. Tremont sauce makes it. Paired with Parmesan tater tots, which were perfectly crispy but nothing crazy. I recommend trying the spicy ranch!!

Breakfast Burger (4/5): Solid bar burger. The egg was cooked all the way through (I prefer it a little runny), but at least it wasn't messy. A little on the dry side, but ordering the Tremont sauce on the side fixed that. Tots were just ok. Getting waffle fries next time.

Great vibes and great staff! My friends and I came for a Michigan game, and it was full of Michigan fans which is a fun environment to be in. The staff was very attentive during our entire time there, not seeming to be stressed either despite how busy it was, which made for a more casual, fun environment. It is a dog friendly restaurant/patio. We were out on the patio which had 3 dogs out at the time. There was a dog that was barking every minute, so that is something to keep in mind if dogs aren't your thing. Tremont Mule: Loved it. Not too sweet either. Great flavor. Chicken tenders and waffle fries: Crispy waffle fries! Tenders were classic and exactly what I was looking for.

My first time at Tremont over Labor Day weekend. Inside was completely full, we liked sitting outside on the shaded patio anyways! Server was super sweet. Drinks were good. Food was good. A perfect pick me up late afternoon. Wings and Caesar salad were yum (pictured). And my friends had pretzel bites which they loved with the cheese sauce. Will go back! Convenient location on the rail trail with free parking at Atherton

The drink was good in a cool glass The potato skins were ok the cheese wasn't substantial, enough for the amount of potato the steak was season I did not like the seasoning at all. It was like a McCormick pack, but my sister thought it was ok but agreed about the need for cheese

The food was amazing. We shared most of our plates and were pleasantly surprised that we could have shared our main entree. The atmosphere and music was on point. The lighting was just right and the decor was well thought out and falls in line with the idea of a speakeasy. I've already shared my experience with a few friends and recommended it for date nights. I'll definitely be back again and hopefully to sit on the patio.

The good: Out waitress Molly was very nice, the bartender's choice was fun and the perfect drink for each of us. The espresso martini flight was great and my favorite was the creme brulee espresso martini. The drinks were honestly the highlight and why they get three stars over two. The ambiance was pretty and the whole set up of the restaurant was very cool. The food was good, but not amazing for the price point. The disappointing: The entire place was extremely understaffed for a Saturday evening, and nothing on Molly our waitress- she was doing the best she could. We waited 30 minutes to order, because there was only one waitress. We had no utensils or napkins and had to request them after some of our food already arrived. The pretzel sticks are said to come with a cheese fondue- it's just a cheese sauce. We were expecting fondue. The tuna tartare had big chunks of tuna that was fresh, but also warm, which is not ideal for ahi tuna. I only had one piece of the BBQ bourbon pork but my piece was dry- my roommate and husband said that was probably their favorite dish however. The duck confit was my favorite, the microgreens and sweet mango citrus reduction was a great pairing, but again nothing wowing for a $300+ bill. Ultimately, good, just too pricey for the experience itself.

They have a Christmas drink menu, mostly sweet, but they also offered to make some minor modifications. I had the Koala LaLaLa, which was more tart with some apple and bitters. My friends only were in line for 5 mins but unfortunately I was the late one and waited in line for 30 mins. Luckily the line does move fairly quickly. If I'm being honest, aesthetically the drinks look good but not worth the price. My friends and I got the koala lalala and were bummed that after paying so much, it was mostly soda water and barely any alcohol for almost $19. Not worth it imo. I did however love the music selection. It was very nostalgic. Despite the technically difficulties they were having, my friends and I had a great time dancing the night away to our favorite middle and high school jams. My only suggestion would be next time for the dj to put his device on do not disturb. Every time a notification came through, the music would lower and was very noticeable. My friends and I laughed it off thinking we were just hearing things at first only for it to continue followed by the speakers completely going out. Overall it was nice to dance and be around holiday cheer but I don't think it would be worth a repeat experience.
