Top-notch bike shop. I bought my Trek bike here, it was in stock back when nobody else had anything, and since then I've needed a new rear wheel thanks to how hard I ride. They built me a really rugged wheel much stronger and better than the OEM one, and it installed flawlessly and rolled perfectly true. They finished it way ahead of time too. What a great experience! My husband and I came in here to buy a couple of bikes. We were greeted by Nolan. Nolan made this experience easy, fun, and informational. He really, really knows his sh*t. He gave facts and did not try to upsell. He insisted that we try a couple of bikes each so we could compare and contrast. He watched us as we rode and studied our body mechanics and asked how we felt according to what he saw. He made sure that all our questions we answered. He even helped us get them on the bike rack. My girlfriend and I orginally bought 2 moutain type bikes at Wal-mart. We took them out for a ride and found out our butts hurt alot! We took them back and headed over to Michaels. They have a large selection of bikes. They definately are on the higher price for bikes, but you get what you pay for. We tried the cheaper 80-100.00 bikes at wal-mart and took them back. We bought 2 silver ones and we go on 10 mile bike rides daily. The customer service is excellent. We rode our bikes over when our water bottles holder wouldn't stay up and he fixed it right there. read more

Excellent experience. My husband and I were looking for bikes to start biking as a family more often. We were greeted immediately and teamed up with an associate that listened to our needs and knew which bikes to test us out with. I haven't ridden a bike in years, but thankfully once one was fitted correctly to my size I was easily able to climb on and manage a test ride in the parking lot. What is also impressive with the service, in my opinion is that the associate was trained with the knowledge to watch us test bike and then suggest either a different bike or an adjustment. We did buy bikes and with a bike purchase accessories are an additional 20% off so we equipped the bikes with necessities such as a water bottle holder and new hand grips for me as the original ones were not for me. Since the bike rack we needed wasn't in stock we went for a trip to the sporting goods store while the staff equipped our bikes with the color coordinated water bottle holders and then helped us load the bikes up on our newfound bike rack. Hopefully we won't need to tune up bikes, but hey, at least they offer the services and free adjustments. read more

I recently purchased a bike from Michael's and I love the bike! The staff helped me to pick out just the right one - they are great. I had a small issue and brought the bike in with no appointment and they fixed it on the spot. I also had an older biked repaired/refurbished by them it came out like new at a reasonable price. I would never have a bike serviced or buy a bike from anyone else. If you need a great bike shop Michael's is the place to go! read more

Found them very rude and incompetent called for a appointment for work on my bike as I am disabled had my bike sent 50mls only for them to turn it away, they new of the bike and seen it prior, then they called me names to the person that was delivering the bike. Would not recommended to anyone that is disabled. read more

I recently got a bike shipped out to me that was being sold as "new" on the website. I got a bike that had scratches on the frame, dirt and grass stuck on the end of the handgrips, and a broken lockout fork (couldn't lock it out but can ride with suspension). I paid full price as if it was new, but when I got it-- it had obviously been used due to the visible wear on it. I'm not one to complain too much and the bike works, but if I wasn't hundreds of miles away I would have taken this bike back and had an issue with the store. This just seems shady to me and makes me question the stores integrity as far as shipping "new" bikes to people. read more

great service! i bought a bike from somewhere else, I got a part stuck inside the bike and couldn't get it out - took my bike over to Michael's they were able to dislodge the stuck part + finish the installation within a couple hours. told me their rate up front so i wasnt surprised about the price. and didn't judge me for botching the install myself. Theyre the only bike shop in town as far as i know, so it's good that customer satisfaction is a priority for them read more

This place is rather mediocre. I've been here several times and have bought two Giant bikes in two years totally around $3,350. Trust me, if I didn't have to come here to buy Giant bikes in this area I would not. I gave them two stars because they are knowledgeable, and their mechanics were good when I had an issue, but hey, that's to be expected. Knowing how to work on bikes is pretty much the minimum here. I took off three stars for being treated poorly and for NO customer service after I bought the bike. The main guy there is rather rude, if you do not come in covered in bike advertisements on a $9,000 bike he really doesn't care. When talking to him I get the feeling that he thinks he is better than me, he's pretty cocky and that's rather pathetic when you are selling bikes that cost as much as some cars. When I bought my first bike (Giant Anthem X3) I came in to pick it up. They were trying to push me out the door and I asked them to adjust the seat for me. After he did (this was one of the salesmen) he might as well have shoved me out the door. Some time later I went in to buy a quick release so I could easily adjust the bike seat. After them taking 20 minutes just to find a part number because they didn't have it in stock, they finally told me it would be here in X days. When I got back, it was the wrong part. This isn't rocket science. If you have a long drive to get to another Giant dealership, buy here, but don't expect much. If you can go somewhere else, do it. read more
