Handlebar mirrors are too narrow for a scooter so they showed me some other options for helmet mirrors and such. I purchased a bicycle off Amazon for the wife's birthday and it arrived in need of some repairs (damaged in shipping). I could either return it to Amazon and wait nearly 6 weeks for a new one or take it to a repair shop. After calling around, Trek was the best location to bring the bicycle to for prompt service at a reasonable price. The location is easy to find and has sufficient parking out back. They provided an honest estimate up front with an offer to call if they discovered they needed to do additional work. The shop is well stocked with sufficient cycling supplies, mostly for high end bikes, but they work on all sorts of cycles. The repairs were completed on time for just under the estimated cost. Service was fantastic, communication was prompt, and I felt that they valued me as a customer even though I had a regular bike compared to a really nice trekking one. Some day I will upgrade to a trekking bike and when I do, I will get it from here. read more

COVID or no COVID, this place is AMAZING. Bikes are in high demand and short supply these days, and this place makes it as easy as possible for you to get the bike you've always wanted. The people working there are all extremely knowledgeable and love biking more than anything. Called the day before to check if they had bikes available in the sizes I needed. They said they didn't but to come in and we can order the right size and model. It would have been helpful information if they told me over the phone that if they ordered today they wouldn't get their next shipment of bikes until 5-6months out. Found my dream bicycle but it was located at a Trek store in Boise, ID. Folks at Trek Bicycle Redmond stepped right in and helped to facilitate a transfer from the Boise store to the Redmond store so I could pick it up locally. Whole process (both stores agreeing to transfer the bike, disassemble, ship the bike and reassemble the bike) took a week which is amazing during this crazy time. The Staff at the Trek Bicycle Redmond store were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Picking up the bicycle was seamless and they even helped me pick out a bell. At the time of bike pickup they spent 2 hours to help me get started with my new bike, explaining the mechanics of the bike, how to lock it up most effectively, set the seat height... Went there to buy a bike rack on a Sunday. The guy working there asked me to pay for bike rack right away but promised that he would get it from "storage" on Monday and give me a call before noon and would also take care of fixing it the same day. The call never came, I left a message, no response. Sent an email no response. Finally took the bike there, and the response was "we need 3 days to fix it and it will cost $37". Service guy just seems irritated. Maybe they are selective in treatment of their customers. Maybe they are too busy and and bikes are in high demand, so can afford to be arrogant and still customers will come. Anyway, this is a place to stay away from. read more

This is a great place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the end result is very sad. I purchased Dual Sport 3 in 2019, size L, sized by the store reps solely based on my height. The test at the time of purchasing was: "go see if it feels comfortable" - and it did, the ride was very comfortable. However, something was off, and I was not sure what. Turns out the standover clearance is negative. At the time I thought this was expected for a hybrid bike, but recently, since it bothered me, I read about it, and apparently this is bad - there should be 1-2 inch standover clearance. So, this is a very basic requirement, but they missed it completely when sizing the bike. Now I have to explore either installing smaller wheels, or selling this nearly unused bike and buying another one of a proper size and with proper standover clearance. Come on, Trek reps, you should not have missed such a basic sizing issue ... read more

I bought my bike about 2 1/2 years ago at the Redmond Trek store. Most of the team back then were incredible to deal with. Majority of the time they answered my questions and solved any issues I had. There were a couple of people who would always answer no you can't. Today its the opposite, most will tell you no or we will check it out and get back to you. But after even after several in person trips to the store no one ever does. The phone just rings and emails never receive a response. the worst service ever. bought kids bike from them and they told me that they will need 2 days to assemble it (and no, you are not allowed to assemble it by yourself as it voids the warranty). 3 days later - nothing, not ready. called them and was told 'would be ready by tomorrow'. come Thursday - nothing, not ready. another call: 'would be ready by tomorrow'. a week later - still not ready. whoever is the owner of this shop they should be ashamed. your staff can't find 1 hour to assemble kids bike, right? this is just ridiculous. I had a great experience with Trek in Redmond. They were very thorough and honest about what my bike really needed as I was aiming at the mid tier service. The tightened a couple loose things and I will take it in at the end of the season for the maintenance to preserve the bike. Ready to go no charge. I also was interested in a bike rack and compared prices with other sources. There price was right inline with what I was seeing at other places (think South American rainforest) but instead of waiting for it to arrive and assembling it and putting it on my car they did it no charge with the purchase. Very pleased with Trek Bicycle. I brought in a 20 year old Trek bike which was having issues with the rear wheel. My bike's gears were changing fine, but sometimes the rear wheel wouldn't engage at all when I pedaled. I brought the bike in and the technician said he had to take apart the wheel to see if he could custom fix it to avoid having to replace the entire wheel which would cost me more. Unfortunately, the part that needed to be fixed was internal and couldn't be taken apart. They didn't have the wheel in stock, but called around other bicycle shops to see if they had the wheel. Wow. I ended up opting to order the wheel through Trek, because they couldn't find a wheel that matched the trim of the front wheel in the other stores. I will make sure to mention the technicians' names when I pick up my bike next week, but so far very pleased with their willingness to go the extra mile to help their customers. A++ Oh, and my bike needed a new kick stand. They offered to install that with no additional labor cost :) read more

It's a small store but the people that work there are great, a few months ago they pretty much refurbished a craigslist steal I found. They even stayed in contact with me and took some used parts I found and brought in which saved me a lot of money.
