Dated hotel with various amenities who cater to people aged 75 to 90. Rooms are clean with acceptable ( average) comfort. Views are beautiful with outdoor seating options for sun bathing, reading, and talking with friends. Restaurant on site. 5 course, set menus are their primary dinner source. Dinner was bland. Ordering lunch from the bar was a good option. They make a great, traditional egg sandwich. It's delicious. Also, the bar tender made great mixed drinks. I suggest that if you stay here while in Wales.... make sure you visit the pubs. It's a super cheap taxi ride into town. If you golf, you are at the right place. If you want a super quiet place to rest and escape: this is your place. If you need a place to stay while enjoying the town and hiking or riding a steam engine up to Snowden Mountain... this is a good option for you. But remember, while there are great views and an ok bed... this place is no frills, not elegant or "happening".
