My wife & I spent two months vetting shed manufacturers from Gettysburg, down to Bel Air, MD and up to Lebanon with many places in between, and the best quality storage sheds we found were right here at Glick Woodworks LLC in Mt Joy. From the pressure treated 4 X 4 sleepers to the pressure treated 2 X 4 joists topped with two layers of 5/8" plywood, the foundation system of our shed was extremely well thought out and crafted. I cross sighted the floor of the shed and the opposing corner measurements were spot on dead nuts. Every single sole plate, stud, header, trimmer, king stud, and top plate of the wall framing systems were cut square and accurately without a single gap between any of them. The rafters and collar ties were cut & notched with precision so as not to compromise their integrity, and the roofing system was topped off by OSB sheathing covered with underlayment and top quality IKO dimensional roof shingles. The rafters at the eaves were all perfectly plumb cut and covered with straight fascia boards and ventilated soffits. This will allow me to install gutters on the fascia boards and direct rain water away from the shed. So when you combine the foundation, wall framing and roofing systems all together, this shed is absolutely rock solid. On top of this was added all the lipstick items such as a pressure treated wood ramp to easily move equipment in and out of the shed, diamond plate sill protectors at the roll up door and the mandoor, two openable & screened windows with shutters, vinyl siding and all the trim, which makes our shed look gorgeous. But the best part of this shed is the owner, David Glick, and the great team of coworkers that he has assembled. Besides David, we also interacted in the office with Josiah, and both men were extremely friendly, honest, ambitious and knowledgeable about the products that they manufacture, and both men were also willing to share their knowledge and experiences regarding the local community in which they live and work. We also spoke with a couple of employees outdoors who were involved in various shed construction tasks, and each of those men were just as kind & friendly as David & Josiah. I must also mention delivery of the shed. OMG, it was amazing to watch the shed being unloaded from the tractor trailer and then maneuvered from the street and down my side yard property to the compacted gravel building pad (constructed by Precision Worx, another outstanding company) in our rear yard, about 100 yards from the street. All this was accomplished by one man using a remote control device, and he set the building down onto the gravel pad exactly where I had sprayed the desired building corner locations with spray paint. So from first contact at their office until the delivery truck exited our neighborhood, working with Glick Woodworks LLC to construct & deliver a new shed for us was an absolute pleasure, and they made the entire process stress free for us. It could not have gone any more smoothly. Thank you Glick Woodworks LLC for such an outstanding product administered, constructed and delivered by a crew of absolutely fantastic people. Actually a really good one since we ended up ordering a high table and swivel chairs from them. We were NOT in the market for them but they were really nice and price was great. Leroy was our sales person and was very helpful. Actually it seemed like he was very busy. We left a deposit for our custom set and then we received it a few weeks later. Leroy and another person dropped off the furniture. We wanted it on a high deck and he lifted the heavy pieces so I can have them in the exact spot I wanted them. He also made sure it did not get scratched on the way up. He then came up and make sure it was positioned in the exact spot I wanted it. he didn't mind moving it a few times until it was just right. I'm glad he did as the furniture is heavy and sturdy. We were so happy with the quality that my husband called the store (Leroy picked up) and ordered two Adirondack chairs with foot stools. The custom items were dropped off (Leroy again) and places in my unique high location. We are extremely happy with the service and the product. Next we want a large table that seats 8 with swivel chairs. I just need to convince hubby since it's an investment. Start to finish, it was an easy process. An hour designing the 12x16 shed was easy, and in the 5 week interval, Martin's suggested an excavator to prepare the pad ($650), who was excellent as well. Day of delivery, the mule operator had to work that mile like a champ to get between the house and the neighbor's tree, but did so with adept expertise and took time and care in leveling the shed. Impressive. Material quality seems excellent- clean, lumber, precise fits. We are very happy with the process and the outcome, and enjoy the space it will free up in our home.

The I found Bill Perryman's place in Millville. Walking the grounds at Bill's business we found a wide variety of high quality sheds in various sizes and styles. Bill also sells kid's playhouse, dog houses, rooster houses, farm equipment etc. It all seemed well made. After figuring out the dimensions we wanted we talked pricing with one of the employees there - super nice guy but I sadly forgot his name. Our brand new, custom ordered (you get to select the primary paint color, trim color, and roof shingle color) shed that matches our house perfectly cost a total of $2000, which I was thrilled with given it was BY FAR the most reasonable price that I saw anywhere in south Jersey. Bill's does not offer financing on sheds but they do accept credit card payments. We were told our shed would arrive 5 weeks from the day we ordered it and sure enough, Bill himself and 2 of his crew rolled up to our house with our brand new shed 5 weeks later. Any time the owner of a business personally shows up on the date of delivery - I'm impressed. Bill not only cares about his customers and making sure the job gets done right, but he even helped his team level out the stone. Technically the shed cost was $1700 and the stone was $300 for a total of 2k. The team backed the truck up, asked where wanted the shed, and positioned it perfectly. Bill has been in business for a long time, and he gets the job done correctly. I read nothing but positive reviews about the man and his business, and I'm glad I'm the first person to spread the word about his business on yelp. If you're in need of a shed, this is the place to go! Bill told me the shed will look exactly the same way it did on the delivery date as it will 20 years from now, and that if we had any issues with it he would come out and address them. Old school, awesome service. I respect that. Touch up paint and a few extra shingles were included with the shed as was a pair of keys for the door. The craftsmanship and value of these sheds is second to none. Very pleased with my shed and the service I received from Bill and his team!!
