They'd been giving us annoyed looks the whole time we were there and that was the last straw. We chose to home up the street to the alaska shop rather than spend our money there. A friend later told us she's had similar experiences with that same clerk. Sad that they're losing business due to one person

This is one the most unique thrift store we visited in Alaska. The girl behind the counter was…read morehelpful and friendly. The inventory was vast, interesting, and reasonably priced. My daughter found some great souvenirs for herself and her friends. She found a cool blouse; unique earrings (ducklings, fork and spoon) and a little bag with delicate embroidery in the front. My wife found the perfect souvenir for herself, an awesome fitted, hooded, sweatshirt with Seward Alaska printed in the back. She also found an interesting book made by Life Magazine about mysterious places and people in the world. This store is organized and clean and do not have the chaotic atmosphere of most thrift stores. We are definitely coming back next time we are in Alaska. I highly recommend this to everyone.
