They kicked my gay friend out for shaking ass. Owner included. They're homophobic. Don't come here :( really sad cause I enjoyed this club, didn't realize they were homophobic before. Edit: I thought it may be helpful to include some screenshots from my conversation with the venue. They accused my party and me of damaging property and creating a "hole" in their glass window. They refused to show evidence and I ran around in circles talking to their incompetent social media runner. They did not allow me to save the videos of which portrayed my friend group and I dancing normally, and after I offered to pay for any supposed damages with evidence they just told me "you're not worth it." I'm unsure of who runs their media accounts but I assume they are quite young as it is all very unprofessional and snarky. Don't waste your money or time ! I would also like to add the security guards and just the way the establishment is ran is very unorganized. Upon removal my friends and I asked for the reason to which the security guard told us, " I don't know ask the front." Once we got out, I asked the security guard at the front and he told me he doesn't know what happens inside and refused to allow me to speak to the manager or owner. It is very concerning that security does not communicate with one another and makes me wonder what is happening behind the scenes.

My "sweatpants"

Security on a power trip said I had "sweat pants" absolutely ridiculous, read the reviews about it being absolutely trash and was correct , should've stayed home. Never coming back to-this trash establishment ever again. Should've listened to the reviews !

I would not waste your time. There are definitely better options out there.

Honestly this place is a mess. It is very unorganized and the location is sketchy, hidden in a corner surrounded by warehouses. The rules posted online are way too strict for the kind of environment they are trying to run. Be aware that unless you follow every single rule exactly, especially if you are a guy, you might get turned away. My friend was told he could not come in just because he wore cargo pants. Overall this place does not seem like it will last much longer. I would not waste your time. There are definitely better options out there.

not that this place is horrible but it's definitely not up to all the hype. the music was whatever and their drinks were okay, the bartenders were very nice! would love to know why security strobe mode the flash light right in peoples eyes??? especially if they're just sitting... kinda weird, definitely on a power trip.

definitely recommend, great atmosphere, very nice bartenders, aury served me & was very accommodating as I was looking for a low calorie drink. Dj is good, they have multiple rooms with different vibes for large groups!

If you can't go to Treehouse where can you go? Me and my homegirl had the best time here! Open space, security was fine, section and bottle to ourselves. 10/10

Security was unnecessarily rude to the people waiting in line. There are PLENTY of clubs in Los Angeles. Don't waste your time coming here.

The worst service and over charged admission based on race ever. $35 dollars is ridiculous when others did not pay that to get in.

After only one visit, I'd say it was well worth the 30 minute drive. The aesthetic here is unmatched, and one of my favorite things about this place. It feels a bit like traveling back in time to a different century and country. They played great music while I was here, and they also offer live music on weekend evenings so I'll plan to come back for that in future. Kissaten Corazón is modeled on the kissatens of Japan, in both aesthetic and menu offerings. They have a range of unique drinks, including the matcha coconut and have both coffee and matcha offerings. Service was friendly. The coffeeshop was pretty quiet when I arrived around 9 am, but got busy later in the day. There is wifi available and a bunch of tables that are optimal for doing laptop work, as well as an outdoor seating area. The special drinks that I got this time were the strawberry sesame latte and the coconut matcha. I will say both of them were very sweet and I enjoyed them, but probably wouldn't order them again. Highly recommend paying a visit!

The ambience and vibe of this place is incredible, the lighting, furniture and decorations felt very intentional chosen to make you feel like you're sitting in a vintage jazz bar. The servers were having a good time bantering with each other and eventually took our order. We ordered an egg sando, strawberry sesame latte and a latte, which all came quickly. There are plenty of seating options so we grabbed a small table to the side of the piano. The strawberry sesame latte was pretty good, it was personally too sweet for me after a few sips but you can taste how good the coffee was in it. I would definitely want to come back and try their pour over or non latte drinks. The egg sando was an absolute disappointment. It looked great in photos, but the bread was dry and bland, the egg filling lacked seasoning and flavour. The egg sandos in Japanese combini are far superior than this. We had a good time overall, since the ambience is incredible and it's fun to people watch here.

This was the last stop in a night where Conrad and I stepped out to LA to have a good time. So by…read morethe time I got there I was tipsy. I was not falling down the stairs, nor was I slurring my words, nor was I misaligning my pool shots, but I was definetely feeling the good inside my blood. I note this, not to highlight my cool factor as if I was a frat bro in a Florida party school, but more to describe how my experience was fogged by my consumption. This place was definetely a hot spot to hit, but I just will not be able to descrbie everything with speicifc detail, more, broad strokes of a good time. The place is reached by going down a flight of stairs, which feels like one is going to catch the J line in New York. I think I felt this more because of the Spring St sign- a famous stop in NY, NY. As soon, I got there, the goal was to continue the good time and this place allowed that at a reasonable price. They had these can drinks that I really responded and they were only 7 dollars. Ok, I know that saying something is only 7 dollars in this economy can seem out of touch. But a drink in LA most of the time will run you at least 12 to 16 dollars, and I think it is mostly on the 16 side. So finding a 7 dollar drink in a hot spot is refreshing. It was a Suncruiser- a vodka spirit based drink- that was part of their specials for their night. maybe is more expensive on other nights when it is not on special? After the drink Conrand and I stepped into their floor. It was the first time we were there and it is basically a basement game room on whatever it is that Bane takes to make himself go from puny human to muscle-on-muscle-on-muscle villain. There is a lot of pool tables maybe like 5, and I saw ping pong, and other table games. Additionally, instead of a speaker or a recorder- the one's that spin old timey records- there was a band. I took a short video of the band but I could not tell you if this band was good or bad or their name or their style of music. I was partly present, and I just heard the music, I did not appreciate the performers. It happens. So Conrad and I play all the time together. And I saw a guy playing by himself. We quickly introduced oursevles and then we played pool. Here is the thing that I am happy to write about this place. Unline a regular bar with a pool table, where every one knows your name, this place had the opportunity to meet new people. And I enjoyed playing with this guy. He was a new challenge. He had fresh stories. And he offered a view of the world I enjoyed. So this place offers the opportunity to meet new people over a game of pool. If pool is your thing than this place will make you happy an if pool is your way of meeting new folks then this place will make you happy and give you opportunities to find the folks you imagine you need in your life. In the final analysis, I want to go here again, and experience the place more broadly. Not sure if I will write a new Yelp, because even though I bared bone this one, it still gives the primary messages I want to. And to the guy who I played with thanks for having a good time with me, even if it was short. And sometimes, short, can be just enough.

After picking thru it because I was hungry, I spoke to an manager and he just seemed as if I was not being honest, so I pulled the broken bread pieces out to show him; and he didn't offer anything in return. This past visit I came with a large group and was still seated immediately. I didn't realize just how large it is inside, as I usually am towards the front or on the small front patio. ANYWAY The Korean wings were very good but admittedly could have been a bit spicier. The loaded fries had a bit too much melty cheese on top that oversaturated the other ingredients. The chicken quesadilla was I enjoyed but was a little basic. Last time I was here before this I had a chicken tikka quesadilla which I think was a more inventive dish that is certainly more memorable than this one. Small critiques but I do very much enjoy District and will one day come not just for happy hour. The cocktail of the day is usually good!

I ended up paying it(because they leave you no choice), but my biggest issue isn't the amount itself. It's that there was no clear notice beforehand. If a restaurant automatically adds gratuity or service charge, especially for a single diner, that should be clearly disclosed before you order or at least be prominently stated in the beginning. A 20% tip should reflect exceptional service. That wasn't the experience I had. The lack of transparency left a bad impression and felt dishonest. With so many great restaurants in Los Angeles that offer better food, better service, and straightforward billing, I wouldn't recommend this place.
