I received the quote on Monday, and by Wednesday, the crew was at my home removing the tree. The team was courteous, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. It was honestly fascinating to watch them in action. They worked efficiently, followed excellent safety practices, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed working together. The crew was laughing, encouraging one another, and seemed to have a great time while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. When the job was complete, the cleanup was impeccable. We hired ArborPro Tree Experts in December '25 to remove some dead trees from our property and trim up trees surrounding our home. A consultant from the company came out and we discussed in detail what work we wanted done because I knew it was a big job/ask and I didn't want anything miscommunicated. It was going to be expensive as well. We were reassured that the task was not too big and they could handle it. A crew came out and removed the dead trees, killing several plants in the process (Fine, that happens), the trimming of the trees along the house were done so poorly, lines were like ocean waves not linear the vegetation touching the house was not cut back as requested, the hedges by the road weren't touched. The work was so sloppily done I requested that they come back to further clean up and complete the work I had requested. Something I have NEVER EVER had to do. I would usually just suck it up as a learning experience and finish the job myself but this was BAD. A consultant came back out and agreed the work was sloppy BUT I would have to PAY EXTRA for it to be completed the way we had previously discussed. After negotiations a few days later another crew came out and completed the job...or so I thought. It still wasn't to my satisfaction but it was significantly better than they left in initially so I moved on. Fast forward to current time. We were having some preventative work done on our home, which included having our sewer scoped. When a technician went under our house to inspect the sewer line, he couldn't. He took photos to show exactly what had been left behind by ArborPros. Turns out all the debris that had been cut up had been dumped haphazardly under our house. A large pile of branches, leaves, and TRASH (drink containers, food waste) were pilled so intensely right ontop of the sewer access we weren't able to have that service performed. Not only was this company one of the most expensive companies we've given money to, they were also the most insultingly unsatisfying. It's sad to work with people who take no pride in there work, but also don't mind running their employers name through the mud. I couldn't refer this company any less. Between the three of us, we were able to drag the branches off the road and sidewalk into our yard, and normal traffic resumed. Peter was responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. Our cherry plum succumbed to water intrusion and rotted at the points where it connected to the trunk, then one limb gave way into the road. We noticed darkening of the bark on the other limbs, indicating water intrusion, and with Peter's guidance, we decided to remove the tree to avoid another road closure and potential harm to people and autos. As part of the emergency service, he offered to come back on Saturday to remove the limbs and brush. He provided a quote for the emergency service and full tree removal. Their prices are extremely competitive for emergency work and whole-tree removal. We were able to have the tree removed today, even as the predicted light rain turned to torrential downpour at one point. The team left the site tidy, given all the sawing and debris, and finished the job quickly, in about an hour. We wanted to keep some of the wood, and they thoughtfully left it in movable pieces. When they came back on Saturday even with the high winds and rain they acted professionally and defied physics by cutting the top of the tree having it secured on rope, anchored to the tree and the truck and totally fell avoiding my neighbors house!!!!
