Anyone with dogs, beware. Tree Services of Omaha left my gate wide open after the first crew left and the second, cleanup crew arrived. There were several hours in-between these two crews and you'll find numerous other negative reviews due to this same issue. When I contacted management about this, their response was "they weren't done yet" and that they LEAVE IT OPEN ON PURPOSE!! Huh? Aren't they adult humans who can simply return things to the state they were in when they arrived? I mean, how hard is it to shut a gate behind them as they walk through it? The manager was completely unapologetic which I found very disrespectful. What company in anything lawn related does that willingly without apology? My dogs could have been seriously injured or lost. Extremely careless and irresponsible. I requested services from this company and the did the job but left my backyard gate opened. My backyard gate was latched to begin with and any responsible party would re-latch it when they leave. Not knowing this I let my dogs into the yard and they ran out into the street, they were recovered by the humane society the next day and one of my dogs was half dead from heat stroke. He had to go to the ER. They were able to save him most fortunately. We have video evidence that these tree services people were the only ones who came and went from our home, no one else. They sent me a bill as if nothing happened. Well they're in for a big surprise when I deduct my dog's medical bill from their invoice. Don't do business with them, they're irresponsible, careless and selfish. Maybe they're not from Nebraska. Nebraskans will never be so cold blooded. read more

Outstanding work! We had to wait a bit due to the workload after a seasonal storm, but it was worth it. The crew trimmed up an enormous elm and pear tree, and took down a 30 year old mulberry that had split in high winds. They didn't need to drive any heavy equipment in the yard which was a plus. All done in about half a day, with ALL of the waste removed. They even left us a 14" plank of wood shaped like a heart on our back retaining wall. Very nice gesture! Out of the services we contacted, this one had the best rates, and the quickest responses to inquiries. read more

I called on 4/22 @1348 to request them to come out and quote pruning a couple of limbs off the power line from the pole to my house. He asked if Monday was okay, I work all day so I asked if he could come by Tuesday 4/26 instead. He said that'll work. He took down my address and confirmed my phone number off of his caller ID. He didn't show, no call from him or anything. I should've been clued in that this was a possibility since he didn't offer a time window. I'm not in the habit of begging someone I'm willing to pay to do a service, so I chose not to call back. Must be a luxury to either pick and choose what jobs you're willing to do, or is a sign of a poorly organized business. I'm either event, I'll hire out to someone else who wants my money. read more

Excellent service and work done by Tree Services of Omaha. We had an ash tree that needed to be cut down because of a crack in the trunk and some trees trimmed away from the house. They left our yard looking better than it did when they got there. Also, we had removed one fence panel for their equipment to get in the yard, but the truck was too big. They removed another panel then pulled the post up. Then, they put everything back, even the one we had taken down. They were considerate and knowledgeable, and I will call them the next time I need work on our trees. read more

We contacted several tree services to compare pricing and service options. After meeting with everyone individually and walking the property, Tree Services of Omaha won our business. Pricing was reasonable but I would say above the average considering some of the bids were suspiciously low compared to others. Dave, the arborist, gave us a run down on all of our concerns and expectations for every tree on the property. We were quite impressed. Most companies were so vague. Scheduling the job took about 2 weeks which didn't seem out of line considering we've been hit with storms and rain. And the crew was fantastic. These folks are awesome! We had a large tree that is about 50 years old out front and was looking all gangly and encroaching local power lines. I back we had a nuisance tree that was also nearing some lines and impeding a landscape project. Wifle called TSoO and there was a guy here in less than an hour sizing up the situation, even though they told her they could be out in a few days. Quick service so far. Days later on the agreed date I heard some large truck out front and took a look. A large boom truck was parking out front. Then came the truck with a woodchipper. Then came some pickups. In all there were about 6 or 7 people attacking the limbs and clearing large dead branches. While the front was being marauded, a guy climbed up the tree in back and started to dismember that one. In the end the front tree looked great and posed no threat anymore and the back tree is now a short stump. Done in maybe 2 hours time and cleaned up. They even raked my yard that I was too lazy to do. Don't question it, just make the call to these folks. You will be glad you did! read more

Wow!! I heard on the news last night that the Emerald Ash Borer had made it to Omaha. I have an ash tree that I dearly love. I sent a message via their website this morning asking for help. Less than 10 minutes later I was called, we talked about the tree, and I had a verbal estimate. Not long after I received an email with the estimate, and evidence of their license and insurance. The initial appointment was set for two days in the future, but I got a call later in the afternoon saying the owner would be out to inoculate my ash tree within 30 minutes. And invoicing will be handled by email. Same day service....it doesn't get better than that. This is a quality business that needs to be supported....period....end of story. For the last few years I had been using another tree service company that was good, but just having recently moved I thought I would get some other quotes. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the quote I got from Tree Services Of Omaha to prune my front tree, grind a large stump that was there when we moved in and then cut some fairly good size limbs from a tree in the backyard. I was told they would be at my house at 745am and they were even about ten minutes early! They had a team working the equipment for the stump removal, a another employee pruning the front tree and a crew working on the back tree. ALL my interactions with the various crew members were professional, courteous and personable. The action that truly impressed me not only were they meticulously thorough about cleaning up my property they cleaned small amounts of twigs and leaves that went into two neighbors yard - this shows they just aren't considerate of your home but also of the yards around you. Omg, this company was the best! We were so uncertain what to do after this past storm that hit our neighbor. We had a huge pine tree ( 25 to 30 feet) that completely was pulled literally right out of the ground from its roots. David and his crew at Tree Services of Omahs were awesome, quick , honest, professional, reliable and knowledgeable . I contacted them by email the very night of the storm and they responded by coming by early the next morning . Then they contacted us back by email/phone to give us an estimate .
