I hired Luna Tree Services back in early March of this year to plant about 10 trees and 15-16…read morebushes around by house. Everything seemed great. Moises (the owner) was very friendly and responsive. However, after a couple of months, a few trees (4 to be specific) and bushes (at least 5) appeared to be dying (losing leaves, turning brown). I contacted Moises with pictures and was concerned. I wanted to try to take preventative measures to try to salvage as many as possible. Moises told me from the beginning to make sure to water them plenty which I made sure to do (and we had a pretty wet spring as well). Every time I contacted him, he told me he would "stop by" to take a look. This happened at least four four times throughout a span of 2 months. Unfortunately, Moises never did stop by and even told me "he was too busy" as an excuse. I was told initially that he offered a one year warranty on all his plantings. Unfortunately this does not appear to be true. I honestly wish and wanted everything to work out, or at least for Moises to make even a small attempt to help. I spent a lot of money on this project. My lesson learned is to use a large, established landscaping company going forward that will honor their warranty. Moises really seems like a nice person, but I cannot recommend them at all bases upon my experience. To add insult to injury, I now I have to pay another landscaper to pull and remove the dead trees and bushes.

In April 2022, when we had a landscaper remove the ground stump debris, they determined that a significant amount of the stump still remained for one tree. We called twice and left voicemails with no return calls. Then after a third call from a different phone number, we finally spoke to Timmy who said he would remediate the issue but then cut us off before the call was completed. It's now been a week with no response to texts or any effort on their part to address the issue. Of course, the work is paid in full. This is extremely disappointing and frustrating. They did an excellent job removing a dying cherry tree, but pressed me to take down another tree and have the stumps ground "while we're here, and you can save some money." They applied similar pressure when doing work for my mom who's in her 80s. (I believe the individual in charge of work done for me and my mother is no longer with the company, but I'm not certain.) Turns out, the crew didn't have a stump grinder with them and said they'd catch the stumps the next time they were in the area. Wish I hadn't paid them at the time. Six months later, my mom and I were still staring at stumps. Timmy, the owner, was very polite when we spoke with him about the delay, but it took a couple months of weekly phone calls to get them back in town to do the work already paid for. Everything was fine at my mom's house, but the stump grinder damaged cobblestone edging and cracked the iron covers on the driveway drain, and they also cut a pipe in my irrigation system. Total damage $155, excluding the cobblestones. After promising to reimburse me for the repairs, they never sent a check, and now they're not answering my calls. The last message I left asked them to please call or at least let me know if they have no intention of repaying me for the damage done. It's been almost two months -- nothing.

Dyer's tree service is not your typical tree service. Dyer doesn't see every tree as needing to be…read moretaken down. They are in the business of saving trees. Last year I thought I had three white oaks that were on their way out. Dyer came in assess the situation, and said no, the canopy just needs to be raised so that the top of the tree could get some nutrients. They also follow ALL wildlife laws. I had two trees with squirrel dreys in them and he would not touch those trees. Now a year later all my white oaks are fuller and happier. I have two that need some insect protection. So Dyer said they would come back and apply a systemic mixture to help keep the tree strong so it can combat the inserts. I will always use Dyers from now on. And their pricing is really reasonable! They do an excellent clean up. Best part they're all family members!

They planted 4 Dogwood trees 8 ft apart in an area that gets total full sun when Dogwoods need shade and should be 15-20 ft apart. They planted the trees with the burlap still covering the roots. Worse, they claim to be ISA certified aborists but after weeks they still have not given me their certified aborist number. In fact they hung up on me when I last asked.
