I'd recommend the blueberry muffin, it was better than the chocolate one and the Japanese iced coffee was SUPER strong! It wasn't bad though, I did prefer the matcha latte however. It was already sweet which kind of threw me off but it was fine. The coffee took a while to come out, there was only one lady working the register and getting the coffee/food. It took us about 15 minutes or so to get our two drinks and two muffins but it was a Saturday morning so it wasn't too busy. read more

So I don't live close to my most fave coffee places anymore and make the drive on most weekends to get some. Thankfully this place opened up a few mos ago and I am ecstatic to say that it is fuhreaking awesome! The coffee is not local but is not a chain brand and is ultra rich, bold and not acidic. I'm super in love with their Iced Sweet Latte that has the perfect balance of sweetness without killing the potency of the espresso. Their Artisan Mocha is pure heaven - hot or cold - made with their house made dark chocolate. Did I mention it is divine?!?! Their syrups are house made, AND if you like dark roast and they're out, they will make a freak single cup just for you which Cesar LOVES LOVES LOVES! He has said it's the best dark roast he's had at a coffee shop. Yogurt lovers? This is your spot as well. Come grab your cup/bowl and fill it with one of their many flavors which are switched out and top them with all the goodies that make your heart skip a beat. Very nice and clean on the inside. Feels very homey but the price of the froyo is way too unreasonable. I've never been charged $5 for half a cup of just froyo and no toppings. Other places I can buy a straight up pint for $5. One friend paid $13 and he recommends buying the valorant battle pass instead. I adore this coffee shop. Finding a place to sit can be here considering there's few tables and one sofa but it shouldn't stop you from ordering a cup of their coffee or trying their froyo. They offer a vegan cinnamon roll, muffins, and a wide selection of caffeinated beverages. Much better than Starbucks. Friendly staff and very family oriented place. Stopped by after finding this place on yelp. It's a really cute shop. My sis and I wanted to try out their frozen yogurt. It was near closing time, but we made it just in time. We got the GREEN APPLE SORBET and the BLUEBERRY. I liked that they both had some tartness in them. We added some fresh fruits and mochi. The mochi was soft and added a nice texture to the froyo. I liked the addition of the fresh fruits because it added a different layer of sweetness. My sister added some gummy worms which gave it some more sourness. Overall, I like the froyo, but I wished they had more flavors to choose from. The establishment is cute and very clean. I don't know if I'll be back because there are closer froyo places near me, but I'm glad I tried it out. read more

I got a iced vanilla latte with soy, i'd just get regular or 2% next time. it's just Silk. as I was waiting on my drink, the barista and I were chit chatting... they have their own syrups that that make inhouse, which is pretty awesome. there was a previous fro-yo shop at this lcoation, under a different name. she told me the owner took it & rebranded it. it looks like a nice little hangout spot inside, I got to walk around and look at all the yogurt toppings & flavors. they do have a rewards system, so make sure to sign up for that! my drink was a bit too sweet for my liking, but I just have personal picky-ness with my coffee... i'd come back again and again. customer service is key! read more

Met a friend down I-10 for lunch and was searching for a place to grab a coffee and do some work. Saw a couple places in the area but Tree House stood taller than the rest. They marry craft coffee with frozen yogurt, which is a hit with both the young families with kids and the young yuppie business professionals or college students. So when the weather is hot right after lunch, expect a pretty cool vibe with families and kids sitting alongside business folks with laptops. They really hit two niche markets. What really made fascinated me about Tree House was their cold brew coffees, in which they had three: the cold brew, the nitro version, and the Japanese. The Japanese is a cold brew made from beans from Ethiopia, cold brewed for 16 hours and then made using a tall siphon. She said it's also a hit with the kids since she has to take out a ladder. Talk about raising the next generation of coffee drinkers! I opted for the nitro, which was cold brewed for 12 hours. They served it promptly. I really loved the delicate ale like taste and the smoothness. There was not a strong bitter after taste, which I don't mind but I think it really speaks to their quality of their coffees and grinding and brewing. It was fantastic. What a relaxing work atmosphere as well. The tables are small but you should be able to find a plug for your laptop or phone or choices Now I can't wait to try the Japanese! Or maybe the 1885 which is an espresso infused with Dr. Pepper. Now that's something you don't see at ordinary coffee places. I would agree with one of the other reviews that I would love to try both (frozen yogurt and coffee)- but not at the same time. So guess that gives me a good excuse to come back again! read more

Wondering with my daughter last Saturday on where to get a nice coffee place close where she lives, we found this jewel hidden on Memorial Dr. Ambiance: low key, relaxed mood. Lady at front: Meh, maybe it was not her day. Coffee: I ordered a Macchiato and my daughter ordered a Cappuccino. Macchiato was excellent! The coffee they use to make this expresso it is heavenly! Cappuccino was very good as well. Food: We ordered Chocolate/Nutella croissant to split ; they warmed it out for us. It was decently good. Barista: she was very nice and she explained to me a little about the origin of their coffees, et cetera. ** Extra credit*** They also have "Self serve** froyo on the premises. This dainty cafe was a great find. We were craving some coffee and wanted to venture into the local coffee shops instead of Starbucks. The only local place I've been to in my area is Beans coffeehouse, which is pretty good but I felt like searching for another and we stumbled upon Tree House. Upon entering, you pinterest eyes come into focus. Such cute lights, great decor, and a chalkboard wall! We walked up to the cashier to order and the service was excellent. The server took her time to suggeset some favorites and made us feel very welcome. We felt special because Tree House's grand opening is actually March 26- this is only the soft opening. I ordered the Caramel frappe w/ an espreeso shot and it was so delicious. I normally do not get frappes because I don't like the slushie/ice chunks in my coffee. This frappe was smooth and thick, almost like a milkshake. It was so tasty, with just the right amount of sweetness. Almost like melted ice cream :9 My friend ordered the chocolate mocha latte, which was also so creamy and good. The dark chocolate warms your soul. We both took our first sips and nodded in approval. The server came to check up on us and I almost jumped up to hug her. An interesting fact about this place is that it used to be a froyo shop, but added on a branch for coffee, which I am so thankful for. I will be coming back for sure! read more

I'm so glad I didn't stop by Starbucks. I ordered a hot caramel macchiato (yes, even in this humid weather) and it was absolutely delicious. It didn't taste like SUGAR or PLAIN WATER like any other places. You could actually see the little vanilla beans and it truly enhanced the taste! I cannot wait to visit and will definitely try the rest of their menu. I'm not sure if they've been having the glass window attached onto the cashier area, but the glass window, plus the employees wearing masks and gloves, truly made me feel comfortable and safe. I love this little place! They have 3 (!) different kinds of cold brew - "regular", nitro-kegged, and Japanese. I've tried the last two and both are smooth and delicious. The nitro looks like a creamy stout ale with a frothy head and a creamy mouthfeel (no cream necessary). There are lots of other cold and hot drinks that I look forward to trying. They had pastries and frozen yogurt for snacks if you get peckish. Oh, and they also serve a cold drink called the 1885 which I haven't been brave enough to try (yet) that is a cold espresso and Dr Pepper concoction of some kind. Saw this place through yelp when my SO and I were looking for a chill place to have coffee. After plugging it into our GPS and arriving- we almost didn't go inside. It's in a plaza and from the outside looks like it's not going to be... aesthetic? I know it sounds silly but that's what millennials care about now a days! Thank god Yelp was available for us to see how it was inside, which was wonderful! The gentleman who helped us was kind and informative about the Nitrogen cold brew thing, which my SO got. I ordered a flat white with a cookie and we seated a ourselves in front of the chalkboard. Here's another one of my problems with this place- the FROYO (reminiscent of orange leaf) is humming maybe 4 feet from where ever you chose to sit. It kinda brings down the atmosphere that was created by the chalkboard, seats, and coffee art. My drink was delicious and the cold brew was smooth! Loved the coffee and had fun with board games. Im not really a coffee person but I will admit I made the trek to this place solely for the unicorn latte. What can I say i wanted it for the gram. We ordered our lattes and cinammon roll that looked very tasty. It was a bit dry but even still quite tasty. Our lattes came next & I must say I was a bit disappointed. They had run out of food coloring. Now a latte would not have been my first choice and I was more irritated that A) i should have been informed when I was ordering B) I should have been informed anytime before it made it to the table that they could not provide the latte that I ordered. The latte was just ok . Their specialty seems to be the frozen yogurt as a lot of families showed up for it. I definitely will not be coming back bc of location & my disappointment but for the locals, it seems like they enjoy the spot. read more
