Hot Americano for in-house. Served quickly and nice and hot but...not a fan. Terrible flavor. Ugly mismatched mugs. Loved the atmosphere though. Pastries looked amazing and fresh. Nice fro-yo flavor options & toppings. Clean restrooms. Tried it but won't be a repeat customer.

First visit to Tree House Coffee and I already know I'll be back. The customer service was excellent and the whole concept is honestly just really cute and welcoming. I kept it simple with a caramel macchiato and it was really good. Smooth texture, great coffee flavor, and just the right amount of caramel without being overly sweet. I also noticed they have a nice variety of teas and yogurts, which makes it feel like a great spot whether you want coffee or something lighter. Good coffee is easy to find. Good customer service that actually makes you want to come back is harder to find. This place has both.

So glad I found this little gem of a coffee shop! Ended up trying the London Fog - nice and frothy earl gray tea latte with lavender. Delicious! They have some unique drink options with a Vietnamese coffee twist. Service was fast with bet tree r prices than most coffee shops and a nice relaxed vibe. Nice place to study, work or meet Now that I've discovered this place, I will definitely be back.

Ca Phe Sua Da (L): Not authentic, tastes like sweet coffee milk. Not bad, though. Cookie Butter Iced Latte (R): Delicious!

Came at around 3pm on a Saturday and there was no line. Seating was also easy to find. Service was very friendly and helpful, right off the bat. I prefer my coffee on the sweeter side and asked how sweet a specific drink would be. The barista let me know that they can make my drink sweeter if I wasn't happy with the sweetness level. I ended up doing that and they were very nice and quick in making the adjustment. I only got to try two drinks here, but the service is what stuck out to me and greatly improved my experience. COOKIE BUTTER ICED LATTE: It wasn't sweet enough for me so they adjusted the drink to my liking, at no extra cost. After that, I really liked the drink. Good cookie butter flavor! CA PHE SUA DA (Vietnamese Iced Coffee): I saw other reviews mention that this wasn't an authentic Vietnamese iced coffee in terms of flavor (which I found surprising because it's written in Vietnamese on the menu), but my partner is obsessed with them so he couldn't resist. We can confirm that it isn't authentic. We could tell as soon as it came out. It was very light in color, and authentic Vietnamese iced coffee should look almost chocolatey in color. It was much sweeter and had a much weaker coffee flavor than it should have. The hallmark of a good Vietnamese iced coffee is that strong, specific coffee flavor (think Cafe Du Monde, iykyk). It's not normal American coffee or espresso. There's a specific coffee flavor you're expecting in a Vietnamese iced coffee and this one tasted like they used normal American coffee/espresso. It was definitely Americanized. It wasn't bad, but it tasted and looked like sweet coffee milk. And when you're expecting a Vietnamese iced coffee, it's a let down. If you know what their version tastes like when you order, it'll be good. It's just not a Vietnamese iced coffee.

Every time I stop by here I like to get the 1885, it's a mix of Dr.Pepper and espresso. The portions are equally matched with it not being to much soda or espresso, it's pretty equal. I would recommend this if you're a fan of Dr.Pepper and coffee since it's the best of both. There's plenty of seating and the drinks are always out pretty quick.

5/5 Service was great and fast. The shop felt pretty Americanized so I was hesitant at first since I was craving a matcha latte or Vietnamese coffee. Gave it a shot anyway since it on my way to work and I'm glad I did! Iced matcha latte with oat milk, lightly sweetened. Oat milk was an extra $1.25. I passed on the Vietnamese coffee since it wasn't traditional drip style and probably made with an espresso machine. The interior is cozy with plenty of seating to study or get work done. It's a bit out of the way compared to more popular spots, but a great stop if it's along your route. I'll definitely be back!

Service was fast! I ordered and sat within 5 minutes. There is around 15 people with or seating inside and outlets around the wall. Interior is very cute and homey feeling. A lot of windows with natural lighting. There is also WiFi so it is a cute place to just hang out. The area around is a strip mall and it was really accessible from I-10. Because it's in a strip mall, there is also a lot of parking to hang out. I got an Ice latte for a pretty reasonable price! There were a lot options for the syrups also ranging from lavender to cookie butter. Otherwise drinks are pretty standard with hot and cold coffees and tea. There were also some dessert options and frozen yogurt in the back.

Why 5 stars? Because the nitro was perfect. --- --- --- I have probably been to close to 100 coffee shops where all I do is order a black nitro and that's the end of my experience. I usually don't write a review when that's the case because, it feels weird to basically just say, "5-stars, the nitro was awesome." But you know what? The nitro truly was perfect. So smooth, so easy to drink - everything I hope for. As a bonus, it was in the same parking lot as where we'd just eaten lunch, so bonus points for that random convenience. We live nowhere near here, but if I'm ever back in the area and needing caffeine, I'm stopping in. They had a bunch of other treats and a fro-yo here too, as well as a lot of great coffee options besides nitro. I wish we lived closer!

I am hardly ever on the West side or in the Memorial area these days, but decided to support Tree House since I happened to be in the area recently. I have known about this coffee house for quite some time, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. This spot, nestled in an interesting shopping center, has a rare neighborhood feel. Before visiting, I inquired about the Matcha Latte over the phone, and the guy who answered was very helpful with respect to explaining various coffee options. I settled on the Matcha Latte, which was made with oat milk and lightly sweetened. I'd rate this drink a 5/5. The Reese's cookie also rates a 5/5. Both were delicious. The counter service was good. You have the option to sit outdoors or inside, and I chose to sit outside - it was a beautiful, sunny day! Overall, I thought of Tree House as a cool place to visit, and I really enjoyed my visit there.

Christy L.

I was around the memorial area and was looking for a morning coffee spot. I found Tree House on yelp and decided to give it a shot. The storefront is located in a local plaza with other miscellaneous stores. The cafe itself is small and cozy with not much seating for those that want to do work. I ordered an Iced lavender latte (my go-to). I was pleasantly surprised with my drink. The espresso shot was well pulled with a delectable nutty flavor (just how I like it). The lavender tasted fresh and paired well into the latte. I enjoyed sipping on this latte throughout the day. If you are ever in the area, definitely give tree house a try! The servers were nice and the barista brought my drink straight over to my table!

Another day, another coffee stop in Houston. Since I'll be here until December 23, I figured I might as well keep exploring. Houston has so many coffee shops that it almost feels wrong not to try as many as I can...especially if you're a coffee drinker like me...Walking into Tree House Coffee, the vibe immediately felt cozy and inviting. It has that small, quaint cafe feel, the kind of place where families can sit, kids can enjoy a treat, and everyone can slow down for a bit. They also serve frozen yogurt, which makes this spot especially family friendly...I ordered the Japanese cold-brewed coffee. It was smooth but a little more acidic than my personal preference...Quick coffee note for fellow coffee lovers...Japanese style iced coffee is brewed hot and then rapidly cooled over ice, which naturally brings out brighter, sharper flavors. Some people love that crisp profile. For me, it leaned a bit punchy, but it's not wrong, just a different brewing style...Overall, it's a pleasant spot. I'd come back to try their other drinks, especially since the atmosphere alone makes it an easy place to sit and unwind...I invite y'all to come and join me as I go on my coffee stops, quiet reflections, and little moments along the way, you're welcome to follow my journey at PilgrimSojourner.org. -SD Mac PS. Lindy and Vivian were my baristas Today Ans they were amazing!

Tree house is my favorite spot for frozen yogurt. I've had their drinks and desserts before, which are great too, but what keeps me coming back is the froyo. They have a variety of flavors to choose from, but I'm devoted to the simply tart and strawberry tart. Their selection of toppings is solid - they have fresh fruit, mochi, boba, gummy worms, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. My sister and I's cups combined equaled to 1.15 lbs, and our total came out to $12.70. Throughly enjoyed every ounce of it, and the sweet toppings meshed so well with the tart flavors. The inside is small yet cozy. They have one longer table in the back, a few booths to the side, a sofa and cushioned chairs, and some small tables near the front of the shop. They have a couple of board games in the back as well! Service was good, and parking was fine!

Went in here one day with the wife. Froyo was very good. I liked all the flavors and the do it yourself toppings per usual froyo place. I would come back for this for sure. I didn't like the Vietnamese iced coffee. I don't know if it wasn't enough condensed milk.. or if the coffee beans used to make it weren't up to par but it wasn't very good. I will be back to try the bar drinks before critiquing them but i have heard good things. read more

Stopped in on a whim instead of heading to Starbucks for my usual afternoon coffee. I ordered the artisan mocha which I got iced. It was smooth, chocolatey & very rich. I really enjoyed the vibe of the place & the different variety of coffee & tea drinks available. Unfortunately, this is even more pricey than Starbucks , so I'll have to save the treehouse for a once a week treat. read more

I wanted a place to study so I saw their Nitro Cold Brew which looked so cool on a video (I think uploaded by the owner), so I decided to give this place a try. It's not bad. But to my taste I think I'd prefer Starbucks Cold Brew, not to mention I think it's quite pricey for a tall size "glass" of coffee like that - $5. About the place, not good for studying or working. It's very small inside with only a few tiny tables. Most of the space is for yogurt machine, and therefore the place is more for families with kids kind of style. Needless to say it's quite noisy. There's 1 or 2 big ones for groups but if you go by yourself you wouldn't want to be an a***hole and take up the whole table right? I don't dislike the place. I'm just not impressed. Feels like they could do better with the interior decors. Will I come back? Less likely! read more

I have very mixed feelings about this place. I had a really good first impression because the lighting and decoration was really neat. The fact that they have everything for everyone (coffee and froyo all the way to cookies). I thought this was going to be one of my go to places right when I walked in. The workers there are really friendly and I liked the environment. However, the reason I am giving it three stars is because my brother and I ordered two Vietnamese iced coffee drinks (16 oz), but they were both not full to the top. It was a pretty significant amount for me to question if they were just trying to save money. There was more ice than drink. I think I finished it in 2.5 sips. It was really tasty and strong though. That's why I'm so torn. I just don't think you are getting your money's worth for the quantity they serve you. Maybe it was just an off day for them. Also, the frozen yogurt is 49 cents / oz which is pretty pricey. Overall, it's worth coming to check out. If I ever go back, I'll try to update this review. I hate to give a company with a cool concept 3 stars. read more

Nice, new and cute little spot! I really like the concept of this place.. frozen yogurt and coffee?! Awesome! I would choose to get both... but one thing at a time! So I visited the Tree House recently, and I opted for their frozen yogurt. Their are many flavor options. I opted for cake batter and vanilla. Pretty good flavors but not the most amazing tasting fro-yo. I appreciated all of the fresh fruit chopped up and displayed at the topping bar. It was quite a warm day so I truly enjoyed the frozen yogurt before heading into work. Would I get it again? Probably. But I'm looking forward to trying out the coffee next time around. The cafe is nicely decorated and I like the environment. The young lady at the cash register was quite friendly and helpful. She asked if I wanted a stamp card but I don't live anywhere near the area. Although, trying out unique places such as the Tree House is always nice! Will update my review after I try new items. Totally loved this place!! I'm very curious to find new places to try out and well, this was the opportunity to do so. Today was my eyelash appointment and I was there early and I needed to do something before. So I saw Tree House and just felt the vibe to try out. Well, the atmosphere is very friendly, the owner is very nice and always asking how's everything which makes this quite a gesture. He was asking one by one if we were doing ok. I ordered the artisan mocha espresso, OMG, I was just wondering if I had gone to heaven!! Best espresso I have ever tasted!! I was really surprised to drink something as good as that!! It was amazing! And guess what, beside selling coffee, they also sell yoghurt ! So if you're looking to work and drink some great coffee, Tree House is the place; if you want to taste a great yoghurt, well guess what? Tree House is also the place. The barista who took our order was really nice, and thankfully, our food and drinks didn't take long to come out. My sister ordered a refresher, and it was really good. It wasn't overly sweet, and the flavor was nice and refreshing. I ordered the banana matcha, and unfortunately, I was not a fan. The banana flavor tasted extremely artificial, to the point where it was almost nauseating. I personally wouldn't recommend it. We also ordered the butter chicken roll, which was surprisingly delicious. It might not look like much in pictures, but don't let the appearance fool you. The chicken was flavorful, and I really enjoyed it. For dessert, we tried the Biscoff tres leches, which was also really good. It wasn't overly sweet or too milky, and the Biscoff flavor was a nice touch. Overall, we enjoyed our visit! The only downside was how crowded it got, but I can definitely see myself coming back here to study.

I love the vibe here. Nice chill spot for sure. I just discovered this place a couple days ago I was hungover and needed coffee lol very good and they also had this drink called 1885? I think and it's a Dr Pepper mixed with a cold brew or something but it was definitely 10/10 and we went back a day later to get it again! I tried their Vietnamese coffee and although it was different from other Vietnamese coffees I've had it was still pretty good. Blueberry muffin was yummy as well. I don't usually order my lattes iced, but I decided to try the iced pumpkin spice latte...and it's no stretch to say it's the best pumpkin spice latte I've ever had. Of course I had to also try the guava cheese danish, and the pistachio roll. The guava danish was a big hit! The pistachio roll was good, but you can tell it just has pistachio butter on top, which is tasty, but not what I was looking for...mostly because it's such a dense texture. Note: I enjoy places with small menus because it improves product quality; Yemex does this well. SERVICE 3/4 order at counter, and they deliver to your table. Customer service is ok (7/10), felt highly transactional, not personable. On a Friday at noon, order-to-food at table time was 6 mins; it was busy. They were at 70% capacity. The space attracts WFH/mobile workers. AMBIANCE 4/5 Beautifully designed with soft architectural lines, a neutral color palette, wood accents and warm dim lighting. The place exudes elegance while also feeling comfortable and welcoming . Two sitting options; benches and chairs are equally comfortable (a rarity). Comfortable temperature, I could enjoy my warm pastries through the last bite. One down side; tables are really close to one another. Sliding to/from bench in between tables was an Olympic sport! Neurodivergent warning - grab your loop earplugs, it can get loud at peak hours when at max capacity because of the high ceilings which reverberates conversations exacerbating noise level.
