Looks like I'm another dissatisfied "customer". Made the mistake of contracting with Troy for…read morebasic landscaping despite that "used car salesman" vibe. First few cuts were OK, but then quickly downhill. After a few incidents of parts of my lawn not being cut (the guys mow at 30mph), the weed-wacker damaging my brand new fence, and large clumps of grass left all over my yard - I decided to call Troy and ask him to please have his guys be more careful. Calling his "office" leads to a voicemail 100% of the time. When he finally calls you back he has no idea who you are. On this call, he tried to explain away the damage as something that "just happens" (what?) and essentially made me feel like this was all my problem. I should've ended the relationship there. Next few cuts they decided to come in the rain almost every week. As expected, this left tons of spots with HUGE clumps of grass (2ftx2ft+), wet grass stuck to the sides of the pool and fences from when it was sprayed out of the mower, and divits in the grass from where they turned sharply. I spent 2 hrs cleaning it all up one weekend as the puppy loves to eat it. Called the guy back - of course got his VM and left a message saying I would like to cancel service. He calls me from his cell a few hours later - tells me he "doesn't have my file in front of him which is why he doesn't take calls on his cell, and I should call his office and leave a message saying I want to cancel". Honestly, this guy is epic. I'm not sure what I did to justify the way he treated me (like I was insignificant), but it is certainly not the way I would conduct business. I'm sure I'm just a lowly peon in his huge grass cutting empire, but hopefully this helps others to not make the same mistake.
