$160 + %18 for tip is too much for THIRTY minutes. This massage was nice but way overpriced.

Very good! They are always nice and I walk in and they do a great massage. Recommend for sureread more

Was surprised at how this massage turned out in the end! I booked a massage for myself with the…read moreremaining ClassPass credits I had as they were about to expire. I had never heard of this place before and was in the area so it seemed convenient with late hours on a Sunday night. I made my appointment for 5 PM and walked in around 4:50 PM. A therapist came out and offer to start working on me right away, there was slight confusion as he asked me if I wanted a 45 minute service and I had to repeat that I bought a ClassPass for 60 minutes. He seemed OK with that and I told him that I really just wanted to focus on my back and feet. So he did 30 minutes on my back and 30 minutes on my feet. It's true what everyone says, this place is not fancy and it is not a spa by any means. It is one large room and everyone can see everyone else and you are completely clothed for the whole massage. Sometimes you do just want a quick fix without the frills and this exactly check that box. I will say that the place smelled like a slightly moldy basement. It wasn't strong enough to really disturb me, but it might for some that are sensitive to smells. The bed was very comfortable and I felt myself starting to relax a tiny bit one I lay down. There was also a ton of talking in the room. The 2 therapists working on other clients were having full blown conversations around me, at times animated. Since it was all in a language that I didn't understand, it luckily did not bother me much either. My therapist was fantastic and didn't talk at all which I appreciated. I only had to tell him one time to adjust the pressure and it was an excellent back massage. I could feel the knots and he gently worked through them and since I had my clothes on the pressure wasn't deep enough to make bruises, which again this might be a turn off for some. The foot massage was incredible and dare I say magical. This was the part of the massage that I relaxed so deeply and felt my anxiety slowly ebb away. I was having mild anxiety for over 24 hours and this massage helped it go away completely. There was an oil used and at the end was wiped off with some wet towels. There was a timer for you so that you knew exactly how much time was spent. The therapist was professional the whole time. I'd be back if I was in the area!

6/21/23 I have been passing this place for the past few…read moreweeks and could remember the name of the place. I have been here before, but the name I found on cards by the door said different. The name of the business is now called CJ CI SPA. I have no idea what the abbreviations stand for, but it hardly matters right now. What does matter are the prices on the card versus the prices in the store. On the card table showers are included in the price you pay. On the wall in the shop, the price for a table shower is ten dollars more. I did not get photos on this visit, but I wish I had. The brown single chairs have been removed. A big white Santini Futon has replaced the brown solo chairs. I sat there for a while thinking about some questions for the new business, but never got the chance to ask them. A lady appeared after working on a client. She said down next to me and typed out a message in Mandarin. She obviously did not speak a word of English or she did not feel comfortable speaking the English language yet. The lady (whose name I found out is Lilian) informed me she still had 30 minutes left with her client before I could get my massage. Apparently she and her partner were both engaged in massaging their clientele. I informed Lilian I would call for an appointment. Lilian seemed happier with this answer. I got the feeling appointments the better way to go than walkins. Jin Foot Spa is no more. According to Google Review, the place is permanently closed. My next review will be the new name of this business if Yelp doesn't make the changes I informed them about. My experience on this new place will be coming soon.

Honestly though, the average person probably wouldn't. I know for a fact my fiance would not like here, but if you're looking for deep tissue this is the spot. I will honestly say that this was probably the most painful deep tissue massage I've ever had, but I felt amazing after. I felt like a brand new person. So I can only speak for the deep tissue. If you like the super gentle and it is really just somebody touching your body, I wouldn't recommend it. If you have legit knots and muscle tightness, this place will kick your ass and you'll feel like a brand new person after.

7/16/23 Star Therapy…read moreMassage has had its star masseuse Jessica working here for a little over a year.   Jessica instantly remembered me the moment I walked through the door. Jessica remind me of someone body that I used to know. I even thought she was someone else, but was later informed she is not the same Jessica I was thinking of. Still, Jessica look very close to the woman in the red dress featured in the picture I took with the new prices for massage. Today, I was shown into the Autumn Room and it looked nice. It is very spacious with two massage chair/couches.  In the center is the massage table.  The Massage table wasn't  heated from what I saw. It is also Summer time and the heat wasn't needed for the massage table if there is one. I noticed the large window is heavily layered to keep out the sunlight.    The Massage: Covering the body is not necessarily a requirement, but can be done if you are not comfortable with being exposed...so to speak. Jessica asked me what kind of pressure I wanted and I went with medium pressure.   Lotion, oil or neither are your choices.   I went with the oil, but I think next time I will go without oil and lotion.   Ashiatsu (backpack massage) is an option, but Jessica didn't incorporate this option into my massage.  Jessica used her forearms  for my back , glutes, but I preferred her hands to Jessica's forearms.  Jessica massaged my legs and feet.    Jessica continued her massage checking to see if I wanted her to pressure to be harder or softer.   I am glad to say Jessica wasn't interrupted  with phone calls or someone else ringing the doorbell.  There is also no time clock is in the room, but there is a clock in the room.  Check your time before the massage starts. Hot towels supplied inside a heat box were applied to my body to remove the excess oil on by body.   Flipping over onto my back Jessica again asked if I wanted oil, lotion or nothing.  I went with oil and Jessica began her work. The stomach massage and chest massage were great.  Yet, the foot massage nearly put me to sleep.  The soft massage is another trick that can put someone to sleep.  It did not happen with me, because I wanted to be awake for the massage. Not fall asleep through it.  Jessica did the hot towel thing again before ending the massage.  Upon standing up, I felt some pain in my back. Jessica was able to massage my back again and removed the tight muscles in my lower back. I truly appreciate this Jessica.   I will definitely return here for another session.   I found it humorous an ironic that we were both wearing red and black outfits on this particular day.   What are the odds of this happening?

Nevertheless, I saw on Massage Express's appointment page (Spaxzs.com) you can make your appointment with the following Massage Therapist. ROSE, Mike or Tony. You may pay through Zelle 301-789-6691 or pay by credit card or cash at the store. $70 will get you the full Body Massage experience for an hour. If 1 hour isn't enough, I reccomend 90 minutes for $100 dallors. If you hurting all over or just want the enjoyment of a great full body massage then the 2 hour massage for $140 is the way to go. You can also asked for 4 hands or 8 hands massage, but I strongly recommend calling ahead of time and setting this up with the manager on duty. Don't forget to get the cost of this service too. Now, if you are looking for stone massage, Kneel and Step Massage (which caught Mr eye), Thai Massage and Reflexology, you are in luck. I hope to make my appointment with Rose either today or on Sunday as a birthday gift to myself. I am also glad to see the early bird special is in play Monday-Thursday of 15% off of your desired service...the price gets better when you do this for 90 minutes or 2 hours full body massage..$85 for 90 minutes or $119 for 2 hours during the early bird special 10am-12pm Monday-Thursday Just wanted to give you massage enthusiast More information on this business than a short sentence. I will have my experience review on this place in the next few days I hope. Oh!, News flash, Tony Mike and David seem to be the only males available today. Rose apparently moved to New York. Females do not seem to be sticking around at this establishment. Only males now. This could be a deciding factor in your choice to come here. The resptionist informed me of this information. I hope this new information helps.
