READ READ READ!!!!! I hired Pastor Nick well in advance to my wedding and communication seemed to be good leading up to my wedding day. I paid him in full upfront because I trusted in a man of God to not disappoint us. Fast forward to my wedding day....the time is 5:05pm...ceremony was suppose to start at 5pm but my coordinator tells me that they are having trouble with the mic and will come get me when they are ready. She returns at 530pm to inform that there was never any trouble with the mic she just didn't want me to panic if she told me the real reason which was that the pastor had not arrived. I immediately called pastor nick who proceeded to put me on hold as if I was just sitting around my house.....umm hello I'm in a wedding dress, have 150 guests sitting in the sun, and i'm wondering if my wedding ceremony is even going to happen. He then comes on the phone and tells me that he's about 20 miles away and can head over. I told him to just come incase we had no other option. By God's grace a family member from my husband's side is an ordained minister and was able to marry us.While our evening was still a success and we enjoyed ourselves, we are still very disappointed with the unprofessional manner that pastor nick handled this situation. He should have at least called us in advance so we could have then made arrangements, not waited for me to call him. And no bride should cry or be sad on her wedding day but I did because I felt like my ceremony and official marriage was now in the dark due to pastor nick's no show. We also had to cancel or shorten certain events from our wedding timeline to try to make up for the lost time and be able to start dinner before 9pm as well as fit special moments in before guests started to leave. Lastly, we lost out on valuable pictures because our ceremony got pushed significantly back which meant we lost daylight. We only got a few bride and groom pictures outside because it was too dark and late to drag our bridal party out there. I just pray that none of you soon to be bride's ever experience the anxiety and emotions I experienced at the start of my wedding. And my best advice is to look elsewhere for an officiant or have a backup on stand by. I still count the blessing it was to have our family friend marry us.

Sierra La Verne by Wedgewood is the absolute best all inclusive venue that exceeded our expectations. They made the planning so easy and stressfree that we were able to enjoy every moment. The staff was so fun, efficient, caring, and friendly, specifically Nikki, Trent, Marissa, Darsey, Cassy, Mia, Trisha, Kailey, Jim, Lilah, and Ty. Nikki is one of the best wedding coordinators we have ever met and she hands down made sure all the little details exceeded our expectations! Mia the banquet captain did an exceptional job as well. The food and open bar had our families full of love and laughter the whole way through. No matter what your budget is, they will make you feel like your wedding is priceless. She truly MADE the wedding their DREAM WEDDING.. and within budget! Choosing the Luxury Package was worth every penny and so much more. It took away the stress of trying to put together all the details of the wedding. You simply give Candice your vision (no matter how vague) and she just makes it come to life. It literally sounds too good to be true, but that's exactly what she does! All the decor, the centerpieces, props, dessert table.. Add flowers and custom photo backdrop. You name it! She does everything for you!! Candice is so professional and easy to work with. She always responded quickly to our calls and emails, and was more than patient and accommodating with all of our requests. We must have changed the wedding colors and centerpieces a million times and it was never a problem. Even two days before the wedding when the groom decided to last-minute incorporate blue as an accent color, she found a way to make it work! During the planning process, we could hardly get a hold of our "wedding coordinator", which was very stressful.. But we knew everything would work out on the big day because Candice was on top of everything! And she assured us this every step of the way. On the day-of, Candice and her team were the very first ones at the venue ready to work their magic! Omg all the flowers and decor came out BEAUTIFUL!! WOW - where do I start? I've been waiting to give Lisa my review until I could post my wedding…read morephotos too, but believe me -- I have not stopped thinking about what magic she created for my wedding day! Let me say first that I was such a scrappy DIY bride, so I was really looking for a day-of coordinator I could trust. I did many calls with other coordinators and I was looking out for folx who really pressure you to have a cookie cutter wedding and play into the wedding industry. Lisa was not like that at all, she felt like one of my friends and was totally on board with working with the blank canvas of my venue. She was so easy to work with and made me feel really confident the day-of. She was hands down the best money spent from all my vendors at my wedding. Examples of Lisa's magic: - She was a serious partner in crime! I come from a background of event planning myself, so I recognized that I was a bit of a hyper detailed and logistically obsessed bride. I literally had made my production schedule before I had even met with her! This type of thing would normally irritate the hell out of an event coordinator, but honestly Lisa just felt like someone who was my partner. She saw what I had created and helped me build off of what I got started and she just made me feel like I wasn't in it alone anymore. - She would go above and beyond! We had a mix-up with our cocktail hour where our caterer came in and left some of the food on the side where it wasn't easily found. Lisa and her assistant jumped in immediately once she saw the need. She straight up started serving our hor d'orves to all of our guests so that the food we spent good money on wouldn't be hidden in the corner. - She handled extra coordination with ease! We had a mariachi parade and a shuttle coming in and out of our venue. She was able to coordinate all of this seamlessly with her assistant. I was worried about the coordination of our shuttle in particular- and without a single worry my guests were coming in and speaking so highly of the amazing coordination of the entire day. These are just a few examples of how amazing Lisa is. So do yourself a favor and give her a call for your special day. Lisa offered attentive communication to her clients and the guests of a wedding, while utilizing a kind but firm approach to vendors, suppliers, and other associates in order to create the most beautiful moments to be cherished by the wedding party and the guests. The day of the wedding could not have gone more smooth. The Bride & Groom, the wedding party, the guests, were all cared for and treated with respect and courtesy. There was never any worry, about anything because "We got Lisa!" The day of ceremony breakfast, the pre wedding details of prep, guest management, and support for anything requested by/for the Bride & Groom, the ceremony, the dinner after, and the night time celebration could not have been more beautiful, serene, or better executed. Lisa also found ways to take initiative and offer thoughtful gifts or words to those in the wedding party. The last piece I need to share, is Lisa treated everyone with kindness and respect. The staff at the venue was eager and willing to help with any items requested, the servers at various restaurants could not have offered any better service.. Lisa has an incredible gift to love others up, which they in turn pass along to those they serve. Design: We told Abby we wanted an "East Meets West" theme that blended our cultures in a way that felt modern and elegant, a tough balance that could've easily come off as cheesy in if executed poorly. But Abby nailed it of course, her design sense is unreal. From color palettes and floral choices to the way she tied together modern décor with cultural elements, everything was cohesive and elevated. She has an incredible eye for detail and always found creative, out-of-the-box ways to make our ideas work. The end result was a wedding that felt truly felt like us! Communication: Throughout the entire process, Abby and her team were consistently on top of communication. She kept us updated between meetings, sent friendly reminders, and made sure we were always aligned on next steps. It's easy for things to slip through the cracks when planning something this big, but Abby kept everything organized and stress-free. When we needed vendors for flowers, desserts, or décor, she already had a curated list of the best options with pros and cons ready for us. Some of our vendors were booked more than a year in advance, but Abby and her team were always on top of follow-ups, contracts, and logistics. By the time the big day arrived, every vendor was perfectly coordinated. It really felt like we had assembled the Avengers of wedding vendors! Working Style: We can't say enough about how enjoyable it was to work with Abby and her team. They're so friendly, positive, and genuinely care about their couples. Whenever unexpected hiccups came up (and they always do in wedding planning), Abby handled them with grace and a sense of humor. She's done hundreds of weddings, so she always had the experience to guide us to make informed decisions. Planning is one thing, but executing flawlessly is another and they did it all seamlessly.
