I had some reservations about Vola the coordinator in our first interactions. Though, when everything was go time, I was thoroughly impressed in what she did. Everything was executed professionally. When things were running late, she reasonable got everything back in time while not rushing the important things like the photography and family interactions. She was on top of everything like the photography, DJ, decor, ceremony, and formalities. I didn't really see her just standing around at the wedding; she was always moving. I want to start off by saying that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I would like to share my opinion and experience with "Let's Party Entertainment". My son and my new daughter just got married last Saturday. It was a beautiful garden wedding and was the most wonderful night that my son and new daughter (myself included) will remember for a lifetime. With the approval of the bride and groom, I hired "Let's Party Entertainment" to take care of every detail of the ceremony and reception. And when I say, every detail, I mean every detail. I worried NOT about a single thing as Vola covered everything and what a relief for me because what do I know about planning a wedding. The company slogan is "ONE CALL PLANS IT ALL" and this means exactly what it sounds like. Her service even includes a master of ceremonies. Vola met with us twice to make sure that the bride and groom's wishes were respected. She accommodated the bride, groom, both mothers and two other family members, all of whom had different questions. Vola presented the ceremony and reception options, we chose some traditions and rejected others without incident. The second time, we finalized the choices. The day of the wedding, Vola and her team arrived and set up chairs for the ceremony, tables and table service for the reception, the cake, the flowers, the food, the dj and everything else. She worked expertly behind the scenes while the bridal party did their pre-ceremony rituals. When the time came for the ceremony, Vola took charge and made sure that everyone knew what they were supposed to do. There was no confusion. The procession started and this day that we were waiting and planning for the last year went off magnificently. The reception was equally wonderful. The tables were adorned with beautiful centerpieces (be sure to see the pictures) linen, cloth napkins, china and water goblets. The table service was elegant and formal, and everything and more that the bride and groom had requested. I especially appreciated the emcee service. Vola, microphone in hand, was able to guide everyone to where they were supposed to be - guests eating hors d'oeuves while the wedding party were getting portraits made, tables being called upon to enter the food line so that there were no long lines, notifying guests of the first dance, the father/daughter dance, the cake cutting, and the bouquet toss. She even provided us with a microphone so that we could speak normally and still be heard while toasting the bride and groom. I'm still beaming with joy at how magical this wedding felt. Where to even start. My party was on Saturday and I came to them on a Thursday (2 days prior to my event) they were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule. I appreciate them so much! They created the balloon garland along with the backdrop for the theme of the party I was hosting. (My boyfriend just graduated from the firefighter academy so this was a celebration for him). They arrived early to set up and they custom made the balloon garland at my home and they made the garland to what I requested for. Overall I was so happy I found them! I recently attended my grandsons wedding in riverside it was a lovely outdoor garden wedding. When Vola and her staff arrived I could see the mother of the groom give a sigh of relief and was able to finally relax and let the professional wedding coordinator and her staff take over. Vola and her staff were professional, courteous and cheerful. The wedding was expertly coordinated with precise timing and instructions for everyone involved. If there were any issues, the guest were never aware because it was always handled expediently and flawlessly by the coordinator. Everything was handled from set up to clean up with behind the scene ease. The food, ambiance and music made a truly wonderful experience even more magical for everyone involved. I also attended the outdoor garden wedding of my grandson. Vola and her crew from Let's Party Entertainment came in and expertly setup the ceremony and reception. She was thorough and precise all while serving up a fair bit of humor! Vola and her crew moved quickly and methodically, settting up tables, wedding decor, centerpieces and more with ease and professionalism. I went to my daughter's to help with cleanup the next day but there was nothing to clean up! Everything was taken care of. The family can't stop talking about how beautiful everything turned out. We first went to them simply for just casino tables for a 50th Birthday. Their prices were so reasonable, and their pre-sales service so amazing, we asked them to includes tables, a party tent, heaters, a bartender, dinner for our guests, food service and some of the decorations. In every respect, Vola and her team were TOP-NOTCH. Their setup was quick and efficient and their cleanup was amazing. We barely had to lift a finger throughout the event. I just have to acknowledge Jane S review. I have had Vola coordinate an event and I could not be more impressed with her professionalism and her work ethic. She had EVERY detail covered and made many useful SUGGESTIONS. She in no way showed any signs of aggression or made me feel "BULLIED". I am disgusted that what clearly is a "CONTROLLING MOMMY" issue could potentially tarnish Vola's striving business reputation. This woman should be ashamed of herself. My goodness! Who would invite strangers to a wedding? Also, a DOLLAR dance is not part of her "culture." REALLY!? I am sure southerners have participated in this very typical wedding ritual. Any wedding planner who bullies the mother of the bride is not worth giving your business to. I'm almost at a loss of words to describe the aggressive, inappropriate, bullying behavior of the owner of this business. All I can say is that if you are prepared to let this woman run every single detail, if you want to give her full authority to make every decision, then this is the company you want to work with. My daughter's wedding was last night in Riverside, CA. I think Vola first took a dislike to me during that meeting when I and my daughter vetoed having her dance with people who pinned money to her wedding dress. My daughter didn't want to dance with strangers. I didn't want people pinning money on her. Vola said that this was part of her culture and was offended when I said it was tacky. I also said that we aren't part of her culture, we are Southerners, and it isn't part of our culture for the bride to dance for money. My second mistake was to insist that my daughter have the particular flowers in the particular manner she wanted them and the cake design the way she wanted it. I think the flowers were, in fact, larger than she wanted on the tables, but that wasn't a problem. Then at the rehearsal, which was the night before the night before because she couldn't attend the night of the rehearsal dinner, she wanted to seat me next to my ex-husband's wife during the ceremony. I said no. Emphatically no. She didn't understand that either. I told her I would gladly sit on the second row. But we haven't gotten to the dinner when the wedding party was ordered onto the dance floor. (Since when does a wedding planner walk around with a microphone shouting out commands?) She stood with a microphone yelling out that they were to dance in couples, but these weren't couples. These were young women and men who didn't all know each other. They danced in circles of men and circles of women. They were having great fun. Vola didn't like this and called out for the women to "get your man." Then, she called out my youngest daughter's name. She was a bridesmaid. She called repeatedly for her to come dance with her escort. My daughter is 14. It was obvious to everyone that she didn't want to dance. I heard my son-in-law's family commenting around me that she was only 14. I watched my adult son walk over to speak with her. Out of nowhere, Vola charged toward me and began screaming at me. She was so loud and so angry that I couldn't understand what she was talking about. Still can't. Something about my son screaming at her (Everyone who saw him can tell he wasn't. You can tell when someone is screaming.) Something about if she had known that my daughter was 14...when the girl looks like a girl even with mascara on. I have never been verbally assaulted that way. She came unhinged with her anger. All I can think is that she was embarrassed. Morely likely she didn't like having yet another member of the bride's family not follow her commands. Twice, I told her to stop yelling at me and told her to go talk to him. I didn't know what he said. He is 34. Why did she think I was going to do anything about anything. He's an adult. It still makes me mad. I felt that she was intentionally trying to ruin everything about the wedding for me. But the worst, she intentionally had the cake cutting and the bouquet toss happen when I had gone inside to the bathroom. She knew it. My daughter knew where I was, and Vola went ahead instead of waiting 5 minutes for me to return. A few minutes for the bride's mother to return would not have mattered. I am sick to my stomach. I will never ever have that moment again. I didn't see any of it. Not a thing. She did it on purpose. There's no other explanation. Run away from this business. read more
