"That was easily the best wedding I've ever been to." --IF you want to hear all of your friends and family say this over and over again, keep reading. Or better yet, stop reading and just book Nico to officiate your wedding. We booked Nico after meeting (virtually) with four other officiants. Each more boring than the last. After burning through LA's biggest ~officiant company~ my (now) wife and I were scared about our prospects, probably should've looked into this a bit earlier. The rabbi was really cool but like, we're not Jewish so is that bad? We stumbled onto Nico's website. RomCom weddings? Actually sounds perfect. We discovered he was a writer and he loves love. We watched his stuff, dang this dude is perfect. He's gotta be booked. He wasn't, so we booked the introductory zoom call. We spoke for about 15-20 minutes, and I knew Nico was the man right away, I could see my fiancé loved him too. We booked him and got along with the process. Nico has different package options, we opted for the one that includes 1 on 1 meetings for both the bride and groom, so he can get to know you each individually and hear your love story from both perspectives. You start with a meeting with all three of you. He asks really thoughtful and detailed questions, taking notes all the way on things to follow up on in the 1 on 1 meetings. I felt bad for chatting for so long... Nico is just so easy to talk to, you feel like you wanna hang out with him all day. We got to the individual meetings and initially I thought they'd be a little too long, what were we going to talk about? How to find the words to describe what Nico brought to our wedding? It was truly magical, heartfelt, intimate, and romantic. From the beginning, Nico was a joy to work with as we met with him together and separately to discuss our relationship, our wedding, and the kind of ceremony we were envisioning. Nico is an excellent listener and communicator; he made sure to keep our priorities at the forefront while making insightful suggestions and helping us in areas where we weren't sure what we wanted to do. Our conversations with him didn't feel like vendor meetings, but rather easy discussions with a friend about the biggest moments of our lives. Once he had written the ceremony, he asked if we wanted to see it ahead of time or hear it for the first time on the day of. We chose the latter, and we're so glad we did. Nico made our ceremony truly special and memorable. We were very excited about the whole process from the moment we chose him as our officiant. Nico put a significant amount of time and work into crafting the ceremony. He met with us, first together, and later separately, to learn about our story and personalities. His personalized and extremely skillful writing is something we were looking for in our officiant and it truly took the ceremony to another level. We couldn't stop smiling!
