ZERO STARS FOR TREASURE ISLAND AND ZERO STARS FOR TRACY EDSON AND HIS COHORT! My mom gifted me some of her old gold jewelry and suggested I sell it at Treasure Island. I went there and ended up speaking with someone by the name of Tracy Edson and one of his cohorts. I'm not sure of her name. Tracy was quite interested in the gold I had to sell and offered me around $200 for most of it. His cohort offered me $50 for the final piece. Due to my ignorance, I accepted the offer. When my mom found out how badly I had been taken advantage of, she called Tracy and demanded he return the jewelry for the measly $200. After a few heated phone conversations, Tracy reluctantly agreed to do the right thing and return the gold. As it turns out, we ended up selling the gold somewhere else for over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!! Avoid TREASURE ISLAND like the plague! Their whole business model is based on taking advantage of people that have no idea how much their items are worth. This antique shop in Naples with friendly and helpful staff is a great place to shop. The dark long hair girl with the cute dog who likes to lick my kids' feet was a pleasure to deal with and my kids enjoyed playing with the dog. The place has a nice variety of antiques. DO NOT TAKE TOUR KIDS. Not kid friendly!!!! The owners, particularly the owner/wife, immediately gave off negative vibes when we walked in with our nine and twelve year old kids. They had a dog and the kids immediately went to pet it. My wife overheard the owner/wife tell her husband to "take the dog out back so the kids could leave". As soon my wife told me that, we headed out and "thanked" her for her rude remark. Never going back. read more

Lots of variety, lots of stuff, lots of fun! Some places with this type of goods are priced to sell, but this place has more moderate prices. Reasonable, but not stunning deals. A little bit of everything - bar ware, crystal, furniture. Prices aren't for pickers but also aren't ridiculous. One of the best antique malls in Naples. Huge place, kinda upscale with few bargains, but quality stuff. They have everything from art glass to clothes, records, art, books, 50's stuff, furniture and do much more. Not too much staff there, so if you want to look at something in a locked case, good luck finding anyone. Prices are fair, certainly not low, but this is a high end town. It's really an antique mall chock full of clothes, furniture, paintings, jewelry and lots of decor items. I often meet shoppers in other stores who tell me how much they enjoyed Treasure Island. I don't get ecstatic there but perhaps I'm jaded. I happen to have a great antique mall within blocks of my house in Wilmette IL. Great selection. Shouldn't miss it. Reasonableness of prices depends on the seller. This store is stronger in collectables, vintage clothing than in furniture. Helpful service. read more

We were offering items for sale and were treated so rudely we left. Other stores had very nice people, and The Mother Load in Bonita Springs ended up offering us twice the money for our items that Treasure Island did and also were very pleasant to talk with. Avoid Treasure Island, there are pirates there. read more
