With a Travelodge hotel, there's a quality you come to expect. I've stayed in some truly awful branches where their staff haven't been up to scratch in terms of service and cleaning, but this one has been consistently brilliant every time I've stayed.
We were given a large, bright, airy room that was just beside the elevators (804), but we weren't disturbed at all by other guests. I had a great night's sleep and didn't have to leave until quite late as the train station is only a short walk away. Also within walking distance is the mall, a number of bars/clubs and also tons of restaurants.
The only very small complaint I have is that the hotel only has two elevators. I know not much can be done about this but it was quite annoying having to wait up to 8 minutes for an elevator to take us to our floor. If we were lower down I would've just walked but we were on the second from top floor. Since these elevators are so slow and always seem to be in use, I recommend you request a lower down floor. read more
