I wouldn't say this place is outstanding - but for the price, I definitely have no complaints. Located in the City of Nottingham, it is a popular spot for families of students in Nottingham University and Nottingham Trent university to spend the night while visiting. I am no exception. I was in Nottingham for my sister's graduation ceremony.
One of my biggest fear when staying in European hotels is associated with the heating element during winter. Since they have to keep the pipes not frozen, many hotels turn the heating WAY TOO HOT. Inexpensive hotels especially do not provide humidifying device which causes the air to be really really dry. This was not an issue at Premier Travel Inn.
The location of this hotel is really convenient. You are at a walking distance to many food choices and Tesco. There is also a Costa within the hotel serving yummy coffee.
I particularly love their "30 minutes free internet access" every day. When requested, they will give you a free internet access card valid for 30 minutes. 30 minutes is just enough to browse any important emails but then you won't be so attached to the computer to miss out the vacation. Loved it!
Overall, I recommend staying at this hotel if you are traveling to Nottingham. Nottingham is a romantic little town - home to Robin Hood. :) read more
