This is a great service. So convenient to have the teacher come to us. Our daughter loves her teacher! Highly recommend!

I really wanted to have a positive experience with Music Makers Workshops, but unfortunately that…read morehasn't been the case so far. I have personally visited their location three separate times during their posted hours of operation to ask questions about their workshops, and each time the door has been locked. What made this more frustrating is that there were no signs posted indicating holidays, special events, temporary closures, or when they would reopen. No notice on the door, no explanation--just locked up. As someone genuinely interested in learning more about their programs, it felt discouraging to make multiple trips with no information or communication available. I think this business has potential, but better communication would go a long way. Updating hours online, posting signage, or providing some form of notice would help customers avoid wasted trips and confusion. Hopefully this feedback helps improve the customer experience moving forward.

I found Michael Daniel to not only be a good voice teacher but a great coach. When I first started…read morewith Michael I had potential and his no nonsense style coaching of vocal drills led me to knowing exactly what to do at home to keep getting better. While it's true many tools can be found on Youtube, Michael gives you in the moment feedback to ensure you are practicing correctly and developing powerful, useful habits. Using his tools and guidance, I made great progress that led to my first recording for a personalized affirmation song client who paid over $1000 for a song. Our voices are our instruments as a vocalist and after combining what I learned from Michael Daniel with opening my body through yoga and learning to ground myself better...my voice really took off. Applying what I learned from Michael, I've had the confidence to sing in front of over 1000 people at once, sing at house concerts and start a personalized affirmation song service. Michael may not seem like your sunshine and flowers teacher per some of the other reviews BUT if you're serious about practice and advancing yourself, Michael Daniel can get you a long way. Also, if your first session is much spent reviewing an action plan, consider sticking with it. Good things come to those who focus on the principals of success and I found Daniel to do so with what he teaches in lesson.

I'm always able to step inside and rattle off some beats on a drum set and since they are all musicians, no one ever cares. So as a drummer, Its always been the drum section for me but today I came in because I want to start learning something new. Injuries to parts of my arms make it difficult to play guitar but since I've always loved piano, I decided that's what I would try. I first looked on line and found some used equipement but decided to stop in and see what Guitar Center had. Shayne was the first person I spoke to. He gave me a lot of great advice and really tried to educate me on the equipement I was looking at. He gave me all the pros and cons of each piece, he didn't try to over sell me, and he even told me how I COULD save some money finding something used on line or even on their web site. The thing I liked the most is how Shayne actually explained the pros and cons of buying used and gave me the perfect amount of information to make a very educated decision on what I ended up buying AFTER I was invited to take a day or two to do some research on my own before making any kind of purchase. I did buy new, and I did buy it from Guitar Center, and it was because of the service I received from Shayne during my two visits with him. The shop is one of my favorite places to shop but it was Shayne that captured the 5th star!

Other than this, the store looks fine.

Living in a small town like Casa Grande, I could hardly ask for a better music store in terms of inventory and customer service. The staff has no problem with you handling merchandise, and they always have cords out at hand to test any amp or PA on the floor. They are also quite receptive to having a chat about cool new gear, and they usually ask what kind of musician you are, or what music you listen to. At the point of purchase, the staff consistently goes out of their way to make the buying experience easy and unique. On my last visit, the counter guy comped me a pair of drumsticks I was absent mindedly interested in while making an unrelated purchase. On an earlier visit, a used tube amp I was interested in turned out to have a small electronic defect. They repaired the amp before I bought it, and told me to bring it back a for a free repair if it happened again. De-No music is a small store, but it is always filled with mostly used merchandise suitable for any small time guitarist or drummer. Even though I've never seen more than few customers in the store at any time, the merchandise changes around often enough to warrant a monthly visit. A twenty foot wall is always packed with a decent array of both US and international makes of guitar, with tube and solid state amps lined underneath. They carry all major-brand types of gear, ranging from strings and picks, to drumsticks and drumheads. For a small town like Casa Grande, the only music store in town does their best to keep their current customers coming in for more.

Knowledgeable and personable good selection. A couple good deed yields to be found also.read more
