I ended going with all of his recommendations, but appreciated the fact that he didn't try to up sell me on unnecessary repairs. I also love the fact that he was able to complete the work in a couple of days. The sound and feel are A+++ and the buzz is now non existent. We witnessed a man on their team publicly berating a parent just for following up on cancelled lessons (the school cancelled - not the mom). He screamed at her and hurled racist slurs! The words that were said made no sense, ignored their own errors and failings as a school, and focused only on bogus assumptions about the mom (who was as polite as can be despite the onslaught of hate). He made it clear it was for no other reason than because her skin was brown and she spoke with an accent (even though her English was absolutely perfect!). He included a comment about her "inability to communicate being the reason for her lack of success in life" (he didn't realize he was talking to a PhD with a double 6-figure job!). Still shaken by the lack of professionalism. The school also said they would refund for lessons that were paid for, but never delivered - then failed to refund. This place should be shut down. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Avoid avoid.

Everyone I spoke to was really nice, and I was able to get my flute serviced quickly. The instrument repair person is there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They did a pretty good job, but definitely didn't polish my flute, which I was kind of disappointed about, especially since I asked it to be thoroughly cleaned (this was also indicated on my service ticket they typed up). I was able to polish it myself after I got it back with a silver polishing cloth that I had to purchase. They have a huge variety of instruments, accessories, and books! It does seem to be more catered to guitars/percussion, but they still had a decent selection for woodwinds and brass. They also have tons of teachers that do private lessons. I will definitely be returning if I need anymore repairs done, as they did a nice job with those!

The E string snapped just from tuning it, using a tuner, so I didn't over wind it. The strings were just cooked from age. They restrung the E for me, but as much as I liked the guitar of course I count really get a decent feel for the tone or depth of sound with dead strings on it. They don't have a ton of guitars there, maybe ten acoustics or so, which is why I was mystified that they hadn't kept decent strings on them. If you can't take it for a spin you're not going to really consider buying it. It's like going to a car dealership and all the cars are pretty but sitting on flat tires.
