I'm not going through the details. I just want it known that Lenore ( if I remember her name…read morecorrectly) was completely rude from start to finish. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I can't shake this one off. The agent across from me was all smiles and respectful to her clients. I got the complete bitter opposite. I simply got the wrong agent.

The reason I write this is after all…read morethese years living in this town I have never had such unpleasant experiences with the a locally owned business as I did at Westside Suntravel. I'm surprised the president of this company, Mr. Paul Corman, will allow these things to occur. I've visited and spent much money with Westside SunTravel before, but never had any unpleasant experiences. I've been dealing with them for a longtime but never had to dear with such unspeakable, selfish people Who had no common courtesy to their clients needs..we canceled all our Travel with them & ask for our copy of our passport and credit card back. This was at Eastside SunTrevor located at 1718 N. Zaragoza. My neighbor & I had an appointment with one of the agents at that place. On 31st of October at 10:AM to pay the Downpayment that we've been talking about for our trip. The problem was when we were conducting business at their office about a one hour later I needed to go to the restroom. So I asked them & They said their restroom is only for the Employees going as far to tell me to go to the next door to Popeyes or theother side insurance company's restroom. I couldn't believe what I was hearing... I even asked to see the manager & explained it to-her that I'm Elderly person my bladder is not dependable as it used to be therefore I need to go now.. but they wouldn't give it up still want me to go to next door... keep saying it's their policy. Most of us, when the time comes to go you have to go ... I couldn't believe what was happening. I have been with SunTravel before but never experienced anything like it.... The reason we went to the Eastside, we live close to buy it. It only takes five minutes to get there. So instead of driving way out to the west side since it's the same company we never expected anything like this... What upsets me was that they didn't have the simple common decency of allowing their clients who is elderly need to use a restroom. I don't think the president of this company Mr.Paul Corman, will never allow it something like this. Anyway, next morning on Friday the November 1st, at 9 AM I called Westside wanted to talk to Mr. Corman, but they told me he's not in so I asked for the manager and manager who's name is Ann, came on when I explained what happened she sounded like she's not surprised and she said it's their contract whatever that means... but I told her that I want Mr. Coleman to know what is going on out there and then she said that she will let him know. There is no response whatsoever from them. But I want people of El Paso to know that's how they conduct their business. The way I see it, if they don't want anybody to use their restroom, they shouldn't be having business in the public first place.

I called at 6 PM and someone finally answered only to tell me that triple A of TX will only insure my home if I have a vehicle insured with them. Well, what if I don't drive or own a car. Not to mention the fact that I called before o bought the home to get a quote. No one ever told me I needed to insure a vehicle in order to get home insurance. Sir, may I suggest if your job is in sales you don't take a condescending attitude with potential customers.

There was no line when I entered the office, and I was in and out of the place in less than five minutes. It was amazingly smooth. I was greeted by a nice lady, and I gave her all of my necessary items to process for a permit, i.e. application already filled out and signed, two copies of passport photos with signature on the back, my current Texas driver license and $20.00 processing fee. I think she only asked me one question as to where I was going. Then she got an International Driving Permit booklet and started to fill it out, affixed my passport photo and stamped around it. She asked me to sign the booklet, and gave me a receipt for my payment. That's all. It was too easy. She told me it was good for one year from the date of issue (it is the same date I arrive in the country of my destination). Very good service! It was fast. Thanks, AAA!

We did, and we all had the best time! Turkey was an eye-opening, positive experience. We were on the Sultan, which was (is?) a wonderful gulet (yacht) with an expert crew (the cook was fantastic!). The location on azure seas, great food & drink, fun and enlightening shore excursions, and Dan (Tropical Sails) ensured we all enjoyed our entire trip. The itinerary was well thought out, and somewhat flexible... We didn't go on one shore excursion but stayed on the yacht and swam in the indescribably turquoise blue Mediterranean... During the walking tour of Ephesus I walked off to explore several alleyways on my own... Fantastic! For the eclipse we sailed to the center line and had perfectly clear view! One of the highlights of the trip was on the return to Istanbul on a stormy night (a-rockin' & a-rollin') when the Sultan slowed down and stopped (we're all wondering wtf) when a couple guys in a swan-shaped paddle boat heave alongside to toss several bags of bread on board... fresh bread is mandatory for dinner ;) That was a particularly fine dining experience! I fully credit Dan (Tropical Sails Corp) for setting up the cruise and trip, and making it one of the most unforgettably wonderful experiences of my life. p.s., We stayed in Istanbul a few days after the cruise and experienced the great (!) 1999 earthquake in our ~1000- year old hotel... p.p.s., check out these websites for detailed itinerary of the entire trip: http://tropicalsails.com/turkey-gulet-sailing-solar-eclipse-trip-1999/ http://www.photoheck.com/Turkeytour99.html
