Which is already absurd for AAA even when they use contractors. But fine, I wait. 2 hours go by....nothing. No phone call no text no updated arrival time on the website. I check the scheduled time and it still says at 18:40 even though it was well past 19:00 at this time. Anyways, I call back and they tell me that now they "don't know" when a driver is suppose to reach me! Wonderful news. But whatever I waited another hour and Still. Nothing. So at this point i'm shocked because AAA is known for hour service maximum, and it's not like i'm in the middle of nowhere, i'm 5 minutes out of boise. This is where CANYON COUNTY TOWING comes into play in a more direct fashion...I call back (3 hour mark) and almost lost my mind when i heard the dispatcher say "your driver said he can't get to you" and is unavailable. So after 3 hours of waiting and having this driver assigned to me over 3 hours ago he now can no longer get to me. 5 minutes outside of boise. They then say that NO ONE can reach me and that this now will be a code red and they have to find somebody else to tow me and can take up to if not over another hour. All in all I have been waiting on the highway watching cars fly by at 80+mph for 4-5 hours. And now must wait another hour for another driver. If this is how Canyon County towing handles their business as a contractor I can not imagine how horrendous it must be to request a tow directly. Stay away at all cost, and stay far far away from AAA and any contractors they use.

The first time she said she would get back to us, we never heard from her until I emailed her a week and a half later asking for an update. She said she was putting other trips together and that she would have everything together by another date. That date came and went and again nothing until I emailed and asked for an update. At this point it's a month later on 3/19/24 and she said she would have the finalized quote by 3/21/24. Never heard from her and I emailed on 4/2/24 saying that if she doesn't get back to us by the end of the week then we were going to pursue other options. She finally emailed back on 4/5/24 and just said "Hey here's the quote for flights, hotels and activities" never acknowledging her lack of communication or anything! So I go back on Harmon's website, willing to give another chance, and find a different agent, Holly McLean, who, in her bio, states she specializes in Greece. We thought it would at least be worth it to reach out to her and see if she'd be able to help us. Well that was 4/9/24 and here we are 4/15/24 and still haven't heard back from Holly. We are five months out now from a big trip and have to start all over and plan it ourselves. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND CONSIDER HARMON TRAVEL FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP!!

Here are some of the things that happened on our trip: * Cathy brought up politics during our first group meal, prompting us to ask her to leave politics aside while we enjoy our trip. Bringing it to her attention only caused her to more frequently bring up her political views. * Frequently if we saw someone doing something dumb or silly, Cathy would retort back with "must be Canadian." For example, there was a sign at a spot near a cliff on the Atlantic Ocean that clearly said no trespassing. When I mentioned how ridiculous those people were to disregard the signage, she kept saying, "oh they're probably Canadian." * When our tour guide mentioned that the American Embassy in Lisbon built a beautiful wall around their campus, Cathy loudly said, "I wish Trump would take notes!" This was the first of numerous statements she kept making about building walls. * Our Portuguese tour guide was with us for 13 days. Cathy refused to learn his name properly. Because she couldn't pronounce João, she decided to just call him J-Wow. * Cathy openly mocked the accents of all the tour guides we had, openly and to their faces, while speaking broken English to members of our group. * Cathy was condescending to almost every member of our group at some point, and regularly condescending to the select few that weren't on her side of the political spectrum. * Cathy: "Why do they have to call it soccer in America? Why do we have to change the names of everything? It's probably because of those flaming liberals."?!?!? * When our tour bus was parking next to another tour bus that was unloading Asian tourists, she yelled out, "two points for each Japanese" referring to people. When several told her how horrible that was she said, "ok, then ten points for Chinese." * Cathy got everyone little red bandanas to take for our day trip to Pamplona (famous for the Running of the Bulls). My wife put hers in her pocket because she didn't have anywhere to tie it. It fell out at some point and another woman from our group picked it up to give back to my wife. Mike, Cathy's husband grabbed it out of her hands and said, "If she can't be responsible enough, then she doesn't deserve it." When we found out what had happened, my wife asked Mike for it back. He then informed her Cathy had it. When my wife asked Cathy for it back, she wouldn't look at her, but scoffed and threw it in her face. * Shortly after the bandana incident, Cathy couldn't figure out how to get back to the bus. Another woman on the tour knew exactly where it was and said so. Cathy completely ignored her and continued to try to find it on google maps. Several of us decided to go ahead since we also knew where the bus was. Several people reported back to us that she said "I don't care a flying leap if they follow that little f***er" (referring to me). * The next day, Cathy knew we were upset about the previous day's events. Instead of apologizing or making things right, she refused to talk to us, tell us any information that we needed, and kept making comments like "Oh, I might offend someone." or "some people have to be so sensitive about everything." Once Cathy figured out that we didn't agree with her politically, she went out of her way to bring up politics as much as possible. She would glance over our way when making these comments, appearing to look for a reaction. She did her best to isolate us but ended up dividing the group and making many people uncomfortable. Political discussions in mixed company are not a great ingredient in international travels, and the owner of the travel agency should not be the one bringing up such divisive topics. I would not recommend using this agency solely based on the owner's behavior on this trip.

Most recently, I sought her expertise for a trip with my extended family (I was looking to take a vacation with my family of four AND my parents--throwing around many options from a trip back to the wine country to a cruise, which was what we ultimately decided upon). Always professional, Cathy helped us navigate the intricacies of traveling with seniors and children. I couldn't have been more pleased. The prices she has quoted me have always been competitive and, most importantly, she is incredibly knowledgeable. She thinks of things I wouldn't have even thought of asking about. I also have referred a friend to her (which I'm always a little apprehensive about) to help plan his London adventure and he reported to be entirely pleased. He said that the flight she booked him was the same price as the cheapest flight he could find online with a much better itinerary (phew!). (I thought that is what a travel agent is suppose to do?) No information on excursions, amenities, no personal research done by Nick and Brandon catered to what type of hotel/experience you may like. Literally nothing. I didn't like the 4 options they sent and explained i'd like to see a few more options, and they became increasingly rude and basically said "this is all we've got for you" and did not want to help further. I guess when they take $500 beforehand whether you book a trip or not, they don't really care after that to give you a good experience since they already took your money. Stay away from this company.

We just returned from the trip of a lifetime to the big island of Hawaii. We booked with Live,…read moreLaugh, Love Travel because of all the great reviews we read but mostly because of Starr Brown. We were debating whether to book everything on line ourselves to save money or use a travel agent which we believed would be far more expensive. After exploring hundreds of options ourselves, then giving it over to Starr to help us, when it came down to it we got a much more comprehensive package with better hotels/condos than we found on our own anywhere and her package (for more days and more stuff!!!) was about 20% less money than doing it ourselves and at least 500% less stress. On the front side of departing there is always apprehension about what you are really going to get but when we arrived what we got was far more than we expected!!! She listened to every single thing we told her and made all of them happen...and stayed within our budget. We got the best hotels in each location plus an absolutely magnificent condo. All had fantastic ocean views. She didn't stop there. She made sure there were so many details handled like properties with no resort fees and low to no parking fees. Plus, she included the maid & cleaning service for our condo. There were ZERO bad surprises...but there were a few good ones. We also booked a helicopter and zipline tour both of which were fantastic. And the best of the best...she was our immediately available agent on hand within minutes while we were there. Whatever we needed she responded almost immediately. This kind of service, attention and care doesn't exist in most places. She and LLC Travel are the best. The reviews we read before choosing LLC/Starr do not give true justice to what she does for her customers. It is far more than one can describe.
