The sandwiches have these fun names that changes with the season. The Denzel Washington & Massimo Boldi sandwiches were yummy. I found these panini's to be better than All' Antico Vinaio panini's, sorry. The late night vibe had me dancing in my seat with the music choices!

The owner and staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The wine bar itself is a small quaint little place. Probably seats about 12 to 15 people total and has plenty of windows so you can see passersby and people watch. The cheeseboard? Get the cheeseboard. They do a fantastic job of pairing everything together to really bring so many flavors to your tastebuds. Their house wine is phenomenal and they take great pride in finding the grapes/different varietals to make it come to life. They have a both a red and a white house wine option. The second time we went - and yes, we went more than once in the four days we were there - we enjoyed one of the sandwiches and it was absolutely amazing. The bread, I can't even explain, the bread it's so flavorful and so good and so light. That paired with the delicious meats and cheeses were 100% worth it. I definitely recommend this location to anybody who is visiting Florence regularly or for their first time.

I can't believe I forgot to give a review to this restaurant. My husband sent my daughter and…read moremother and I together to Florence November 2024 for a three generation trip of a lifetime. The first night we dined at this restaurant in the little tiny room in the back. It was magical. Every dish exceeded the last. We had a pear & pecorino salad. That was a work of art and we hated messing it up. We passed around our appetizers and main courses and we all loved everyone else's food. The highlight of this night and the night that we came back to eat again was the owner, Pasquale. He treated my mother like royalty. When we were coming up to the door, he jumped up from his counter and came out and took her arm and escorted her to the table both times. And then he escorted her out as well. One night when I went past the restaurant by myself, he inquired where my mom was. He made her feel like a queen and she is still talking about it to this day. We can't thank him enough for the beautiful meals and the five star treatment.

Pasta was not al dente it was near raw and stuck together in clumps (see photo) the veal meatballs dry and tasteless and $11 for 4 small pieces of bread with some spread and 2 anchovies not with it. Across the piazza is a corner restaurant open for dinner only and was AMAZING!!!! Go there.
