Pre prepared food had flies all over it, the staff of young ladies were constantly waving their hands to fan them saying they were all over the food was an understatement, they were on the meat, deserts and salads, there was no way I was staying in line after seeing that so we left. It wasn't a busy day at all so I'm not sure why food isn't made to order especially for safety purposes.

So delicious!! We came here after a long walk. Ordered something light so we wouldn't be too stuffed for more rides. We got a Busch gardens cup, fries, and the mozzarella sticks. They were all so tasty. The price was $43- but mostly expensive for the reusable cup. Fries had some seasoning on it but it wasn't spicy at all and the toddler really enjoyed it. My big double stroller wouldn't fit which was a bummer. The line was a wrap around system and you grabbed food as you passed. Lots of near by tables. Love the decor and the design. Felt like dining in another county haha.

This is a must have when visiting Busch Gardens they have a very plentiful sampler platter it has brisket bbq chicken and ribs as well as fries and a roll The desserts here a basic cupcakes and pie but occasionally they get a delicious apple cobbler The meal costs 25$ but is enough for at least two people Hot tip is get the all day dining pass this stop alone is almost 50$ for a drink dessert and entree If you catch a Black Friday deal you can snag food deals for 30$ The seating is awesome here you have a heated area that is covered and the staff are very nice here

Ehhh not bad, they do give you A LOT of food for $26 but it's alright. It's not the worst thing I've had but not the best. It's cafeteria style and there's some seating outside with umbrellas. It's not a nice sit down and dine kinda spot. However they did give you decent brisket and ribs. The chicken was good too. I forgot to take a pic of the food cause I was super hungry but it was overall not bad.

We came here for lunch while in Busch Gardens. The smokehouse is a wonderful place to eat while at the park. The portions are large and the meats are flavorful! It's a cafeteria styled ordering system. You move down the line and grab what you want and put it on your tray. They offer fresh fruits, various cakes, a cast iron apple cobbler, salads, beans, slaws, Mac & cheese, etc. The entrees include a 3 meat sampler with brisket, ribs, and chicken. You can also order a plate with the meats individually. They also offer a smoked salmon platter. The platters are all served with fries and a roll, the salmon comes with green beans, fries, and a roll. We had and all day dining deal, allowing each of us to get an entree, drink, side or dessert every 90 minutes. My sister and I opted for the sampler platter, while my mom ordered the salmon platter with a side of coleslaw. I split the strawberry cake with my mom, while my sister ordered a chocolate cupcake. We all enjoyed our meals. The meat was all juicy, with so much flavor. The fries were amazing too! The cakes were decent, nothing too special. But they weren't really heavy, which was nice. It was so much food, we didn't finish all the fries, but we did eat all the meat. Overall we had a great meal here. The portions are HUGE. And two people could easily split one entree. We returned later on during our second day for a snack. Ordering some watermelon, coleslaw, and the apple cobbler. This also satisfied us. The fruit was really fresh, the slaw was crisp, and the cobbler was so warm and ooey-gooey perfection! I would recommend eating here while in the park!

Covid closed BG, voiding admission and all-season dining passes aka kids' Christmas gifts. Thankfully, BG hosted 1000 max visitor days in Aug with Trapper's being the only meal in town. Granted, it is high cost and average quality park food, convenience over quality. IMO Food was better than last trip in Dec 2019. Smokey flavor and moist/tender texture of items on sampler, chicken/ribs/brisket, were pretty good. I DON'T LIKE their bbq sauce. I'm praying BG calls Sweet Baby Rays when reopening for real. Haha This time, we ate sides and desserts, thanks to the kind gesture from guest services (Michelle?). Green beans were meh, mac n cheese was good but a very small portion. Carrot cake was moist, sweet and very good (4/5) while the chocolate pudding with cookie crumble topping was forgettable. Overall, not a bad choice, especially when it's the only dining hall open.

The most decent meal I've had so far at Busch Gardens. It's expensive to what you get but smoke or bbq chicken is decent here. The chicken was my favorite, it was flavorful. The coleslaw is good too. The very small thin brisket is actually tender but I guess because it's so thin. The ribs had no flavorful, it's small and not very meaty. I love the pickle here tho bc it's the kosher dill sour kind. Yum!

This is the best place for eating in the park. Food is diverse and solid, service is kind. Ambiance is not bad. I ended up eating about five meals there using the all day dining coupon

A long overdue review for my favorite place at Busch Gardens to get my grub on. If you are any where in the vicinity of France you have smelled the wonderful smoked aroma coming from their smoker. For over 10 years this has been a must to hit up a few times in the year. Lines are long, but move quick. When it is busy two lines are opened up. Often there are at least two check out lines, but can be four. It is deceiving but there is also plenty of seating around which is all outdoors. Debris is always an issue due to self bus and some times windy conditions. There are trash cans every where and staff tries there best. Lots of meat to choose from and of course all of the delicious sides. My favorite is the brisket platter and sides of macaroni, baked beans and waffle fries. If you want to go big than get the sample platter which has a few meats to choose from and is very economical for the amount you get. But you will find a lot more like deserts. My favorite is the strawberry short cake. Like most park food it's ain't cheap, but this place is more expensive than others. Make sure to show your annual pass for a 10% to help with the sting. If your interested in chatting with the guys who smoke this great meat you can do so as a walk up just outside the restaurant. Very hard working staff doing a great job in very hot conditions. This is a must for our family and I would recommend.

Rocco's Smokehouse kept popping up when we searched for places to eat, so we decided to give it a shot. We weren't really in the mood for barbecue, and they only had ONE steak option, but the menu looked so interesting that we figured, why not? There was about a 15-20 minute wait, which immediately had me thinking, "Okayyy, maybe we made the right choice!" The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had a great vibe. IMPORTANT: Navigation took us to the wrong location, so pay close attention to the Yelp directions. Rocco's is currently operating from a temporary location. Once we were seated, our waiter was right over to take our drink order. First things first--the sweet tea is MAGNIFICENT! And let me tell you what you NEED to order: Smoked barbecue wings -- MUST ORDER -- absolutely get it! Rocco actually brought it to our table and warned us that we would be hooked and he was right! I originally wanted the lump crab cakes, but I didn't see anyone else ordering them, so I took my waiter's recommendation and went with the brisket quesadillas. GREAT decision! They were juicy, flavorful, and downright scrumptious. My partner ordered Platter #3, which came with ribs, a quarter chicken, and pork barbecue. The chicken was his favorite--he could not stop talking about it! You could really taste that smoky flavor in the meat. The macaroni and cheese was pretty good too. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by Rocco's. We went in craving steak and left talking about smoked wings, chicken, brisket, and barbecue! Would I go back? Absolutely! And next time, those crab cakes are getting ordered! #WilliamsburgVA #WilliamsburgEats #VirginiaFoodie #RoccosSmokehouse #Foodie #YelpEats #BBQ #FoodReview #VirginiaRestaurants

First impression NOISY. This place is loud. High ceilings and open dining area makes the voices reverberate throughout the woke restaurant. The BBQ was ok, chicken dried out and the pork only average. Their sauce was the perfect blend of sweet with just the right about of spice. The place was clean and the service was decent. Not a bad bbq place but definitely has room for improvement.

The decor gives off major classic American vibes. Plus, right now they are celebrating the U.S. 250th anniversary, so the whole place is decked out in festive, classy decorations. The floral arrangements and styling are beautifully done--so full of character and style. Here are my honest thoughts on the food and experience: The Mains (10/10): We ordered two entrees, and both were incredible. The meat was so tender, juicy, and incredibly easy to chew. The flavors were totally on point. Wings & Fries: The chicken wings were great, and the fries were fried to a perfect golden crisp! My only tiny critique as a foodie is that the fries didn't seem to be fresh-cut from scratch. But they still tasted good! Sauce Heaven: I love that they have a huge variety of sauces right on the table. It gives you so many great options to customize your flavor combinations! The Atmosphere & Service: The waitstaff here are incredibly enthusiastic and energetic! Their warm hospitality completely made up for the fact that the AC was blasting a little too cold inside. One tiny tip for photo takers: The lighting at the tables is a bit on the dimmer side, so it's a little hard to capture the true, mouth-watering color of the grilled food on camera. But trust me, the taste more than makes up for it! It's such a wonderful, comfortable spot to chat, laugh, and catch up with friends. Highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for great food and a festive vibe!

The smell of smoke hits you as soon as you step out of the car--which is always a great sign. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our waitress was attentive from the start. She walked us through the highlights and shared a few of her personal favorites, which was a nice touch. We kicked things off with the Oyster Rockefeller. The oysters themselves were nearly perfect, though the dish leaned a bit salty. Still, a solid start. The crab soup was good as well--also slightly on the salty side, which could just come down to personal preference. Now to the burnt ends--one of my go-to orders anywhere. I'm happy to say these didn't disappoint. Like others have mentioned, the brisket was a touch dry but still impressively tender and full of flavor. The BBQ nachos were messy in the best way and packed with flavor--definitely a hit, especially with my son. As for the slaw, we were told it would be "wet," but it's actually on the drier side, so keep that in mind depending on your preference. We sat at the bar, right in front of the bartender. He was ringing in a big order and said he'd be right with us. After about 5 minutes. I asked if I could grab some of the menus, over the bar (which were in reach). I reached over and grabbed a couple so we would be ready. He said he'd be with us in a minute, which turned into over 10 minutes. We ordered our beer and food at the same time. The keg was blown and he was about to leave again, so we insisted on any other beer that was ready NOW. Meanwhile people are coming up to the bar asking for refills, for their checks, for food. It seemed there was another girl working the dining room, and another female employee was trying to get with a bar customer. Our beers ran empty, other people came and went without ever being served, it sounded like a party in the kitchen. We kept thinking about leaving, everytime he came out of the kitchen without our food. He finally gave us a beer refill, and said our food would be out soon. One guy sat for 20 minutes, got no service and the bartender thanked him for leaving. Everytime he came out of the kitchen he had someone else's food. At one point he ran by with a mop bucket to mop the floor, in front of the front door! After over an hour, we flagged him down and told him we wanted to leave. He said he was sorry and our food would be out soon, "4 people called out." I disputed that fact, saying making a bbq sandwich takes as long as it takes to slap meat on a bun and we had already waited over an hour. I worked in a BBQ restaurant for 15 years. Everything we ordered was already cooked. We could hear plenty of people in the kitchen and BTW, where the heck is the manager of this place? Did they call out too? He asked if we wanted our food to go lol. If they can't get it on a plate how long will it take to put it in a box? Then he overcharged us for our beers, which I corrected, because it was Happy Hour, we paid and left. What a shit show.
