Local's spot in Minoa. They have a small parking lot but plenty of on-street parking. Like many of the pizza pub genre you order at the counter and they deliver it to your table. The pizza was solid, the beer was cold and the bartenders friendly. What more can you ask for? read more

When I got to Trapper's II, it seemed that all of Minoa was in the house. What could be all the hoopla? I had ordered a house 18" meatball pie. The crust was thin, tasty, but lacked the chew I look for; it was a bit lighter than most in texture. The cheese, a little on the heavy side, had no stretch or snap. Ordinary mozzarella. The sauce was very good and tangy. The meatballs were plentiful and complimented the pie. The bake on the pie was excellent and it is hand made. Overall, it's a good pizza that with the right cheese could be great. So, all the hoopla? Must've been the wings! read more

Casual sports bar vibe. Outdoor seating with volleyball courts. I've never tried their pizza, but the spicy ranch chicken wrap I had was great. The side salad I added was also delicious and fresh. They didn't skimp on the toppings either, which I appreciate. I would def eat here again. Good music too. read more

I love their buffalo chicken wing pizza It's the perfect amount of greasy goodness with spice and a creamy blue cheese sauce. The perfect pizza here in my book. They also have a retriever sandwich which is a melt of cheese and roast beef that's just excellent!! Sports bar with good food!! read more

Food was good, the bar could be stocked better; ordered a White Russian but they didn't have any milk in the place, restaurant nor the bar

Pizza and wings are pretty good. I prefer to eat them right there. But I feel that way about any pizza place. Things shoved into boxes and Styrofoam containers change the texture and taste of the food. Great family place. read more

I know this place is popular. I've been a few times and had to wait for a while. Tonight I went and ordered 4 dishes. It took about 40 minutes and the order was wrong. We weren't given an itemized receipt. They charges us for the incorrect order. There were tables left dirty for over 20 minutes. They wiped the door before cleaning tables. It food is also pretty pricey. I get that it was busy before we got there, but the wait would not have been as long had the correct order been taken. read more

When I want excellent pizza and wings and feel comfortable stretching my wallet quite a bit extra this is my go to. You consistently get what you order at Trapper's ll. The pizza is crunchy and oozing with cheese. Toppings are fresh! The blue cheese is unique. There is secret spice in it. Thyme? That makes it extra special. Wings are the fattest around. We like to stick with Mild or BBQ and they never disappoint. It is truly a once while treat that's worth the wait. read more

Ok so I'm all fairness I will argue until my last breathe that Roma's has thee best tomato pies.(period)exclamation point.(period) so I ordered a tomato pie from Trappers II and was told 30 mins. No problem. I get there and the place is crowded lots going on, a 2 piece band setting up In The corner people at the bar. I got to the counter and the girls asks my order, I tell her and she says oh hang on one sec!?? A guy comes around to tell me they don't have the regular square for the tomato pie so they put it on round regular dough. Ok no worries I'll try it. So it was good. Not spectacular, but a solid 3 stars tomato pie!! The consistency was there, flavor also and the crust was light, which was a pleasant surprise considering I wasn't expecting that much crust it was cooked right not burnt pieces of dough. I would totally get it again especially on the " regular" squares, as it was called. So if you have the taste for a tomato pie and aren't in Utica before 9 am try Trappers II read more

From the very beginning T2 was our second home. We refer to it as The Minoa Cheers bar. The owners are awesome people that keep their employees as family. Friendly in every department and they run it like a Tight Ship. They are always contributing to every charity that is local or far away. They make you feel like family and we love everyone there. Their food is remarkable always served with a smile. And if something isn't right and you tell them they make it right. xoxoxo20 WingsFragola PizzaRetriever SandwichWingdings read more

This food was absolutely amazing. I was greeted with amazing service and a very large menu. Personally, this is an amazing food location.

One of the the best tasting pizzas in Syracuse area. Especially the sausage and mushroom. But the service does not live up to the pizza. I have had to wait many times much longer then quoted. One time I waited 30 min longer only to find my pizza sitting in a wood block getting cold. They did not charge me for it. Parking is fine and they have a lot of family activities different nights if the week. Cost is $$. Every year superior seal ( who's owner owns trappers) sends us a pizza coupon. That is welcomed and shows commitment to his customers. All in all I recommend their pizzas. Just don't expect great service. They also have volleyball and other outside activities in the summer. Great place for a birthday party, graduation or Corp get together. read more

The only reason I am giving them three stars is because they tried. I was in there with my sister and my nieces for dinner on Saturday evening, they had a good crowd but it was far from busy. We ordered 2 slices, a salad, Wingdings, garlic knots, and chicken and French fries, it took 45 minutes for us to get our food. The kids were all so patient while they waited for their food, I however was not. Fourth five minutes for fries food is ridiculous, especially when people who ordered after us were getting their food before us. When we finally got our food I discovered they s freed up our order, I asked for one slice of cheese pizza and they put in for a while medium. When I went the counter she apologized and refunded the money and gave us the pizza anyway. When we got Wingdings they were cold, I was at the counter and said something to the girl and she offered to take them back and make fresh ones, I appreciated that but the kids were already eating them because they were so hungry. Then they forgot our order if garlic knots so I had to go back up again. Over all this was not a good experience and I don't know if I'll go back anytime soon to eat there. read more

Stopped by on a recent Saturday night with friends to have a few drinks and catch a ballgame. Had never been and was quite impressed. Very spacious inside with ample seating everywhere. Dozens of TVs around the bar/pizza area- so its nearly impossible not to find a game/event that you can watch. Had a few slices of pizza while we were there(Buffalo Chicken)- and it was delicious. Another member of our group commented how he frequents Trappers with his family for dinner/pizza. Service was very friendly and attentive. Good, comforting atmosphere- with the aformentioned good food. Looking forward to returning again. read more

First time out at Trappers II. I came out to meet up with a few guys to play some pinball and kill some pizza. We were there when SU was playing. So Trappers had a dollar a slice special. Typical sports bar atmosphere. Nice place. Plenty of seating. Lots of room. Free WiFi. Good pizza. Friendly staff. I'll definitely will be back. read more

What a nice find... Good atmosphere, service, clean, good food...pizza for kids, had a bite myself, :) ...wife had wrap, I chicken Parmesan, both good, would get again. Great ingredients, well cooked, super tasty pizza. We got off the NY thruway en route to buffalo cuz we were craving pizza. Yelp did not fail us. Order at the counter, take a number, soak up the roadhouse vibe. Pinball, skeeball, electric darts and TVs abound--along with some just loud enough music. Trivia night entertained while we inhaled the best pizza we'd had in a very long time. So full. $33 for a loaded 14-inch and a couple of pops. read more

It's okay. Not expensive, but not outstanding in the quality of Pizza. Not the best selection either. Overall an okay place

Trappers has my favorite pizza in the syracuse area hands down. Make sure you try the blue cheese. I highly recommend it!

We attended a graduation party there last week, the food was delicious, very hot, and plenty of it. I would absolutely recommend for a family party, kids had a lot of fun and the prices at the bar for the adults were extremely reasonable. The servers were great and always around to help out. read more

I've been here on several occasions and I can say first of all the service here had never been great. This trip I stood at the bar for near 15 min. waiting to get a drink. The bartender walked by me several times until I waved money at her, never thought I would have to beg people to take my money. Second, we ordered a pizza half with mushrooms and cheese and the other half with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. We also ordered 20 wings. The pizza came out with sausage, mushrooms and onions on one side and pepperoni and mushrooms on the other. I was going to take it back and complain but everyone was so hungry and the place was filling up so no one wanted to wait for another one. 10 min. later the wings came out and they were so over cooked they were like eating shoe leather. Sorry to say but it's hit or miss here. read more

Sports bar type atmosphere with some of the best pizza I have had in a while! The staff was super friendly and attentive. One odd aspect is that food and drink bills are separate. Great pizza and wings! They have a decent selection of beer, and the workers are pretty friendly.

Let me start by saying I like drinking at this place. Eating here however is a different story. Went there on a Saturday afternoon (1:30pm) and there was maybe 4 people in the place. We ordered simple food (burger, quesadilla and a plate of "loaded" fries for an appetizer. All the items took 25min to get to us and the appetizer came with the main meal. The meal itself was fine, but the loaded fries (cheese and bacon) wasn't edible. The cheese looked like it was Cheez-wiz or something and didn't taste like real cheese. Now I'm not a picky eater by any means, but I couldn't have more than 2 bites of this stuff. We told the bartender when it came time to settle the bill but she said she couldn't remove the fries from the bill ($12) and gave us a $10 gift card for when we come in again. So we paid $2 for something we barely touched. Great atmosphere, very slow food service and sub par food taste. read more

Only the second time in this trappers and i was not disapointed! It was a very snowy nasty sunday, with a few folks at the bar so ut felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was my wife , sister, mom,dad and myself. The very nice lady at the counter figured out that if we ordered the special we would pay only 6 dollars more and have some food to take home! Winner for this pizza loving guy! Also she set us up with a pitcher so we cold refil ourr sodas and gave us a 2 liter to tak home instead of giving us 2 two liters. After the 2 huge pizza aand wings came out my mother joked that it might not be enough food for the 5 of use. 10 or 15 minutes later the pizza chef came out with some fried dough! Soft fluffy with cinnamon sugar and w dupping sauces, chocolate and caramel , just to try. They were small round balls not the long tough strips you get at the fair. And speaking of the fair they have skee ball, bubble hockey, 4 claw machines and pinball. Overall one of the bbest pizzas i've had in a long time. Probably wont take the kids unless i have an extra 50 bucks for them to play games...lol . But i will be back! Easy 5 stars read more
