    CHICKEN & SHRIMP Lunch Combo

I ordered ok their website and had a pickup time for 12:15, my food was ready and hit by 12:12. The cashier was super sweet. Me and hubby were hungry as heck so we ate in the car, the food definitely was not making it back to Boynton. The pricing is also good. We paid $30 for two plates with double sides on one. We'll be back again when in the area.

Was in the area and walked in to see if they offered vegan/vegetarian options. To my surprise they were able to make a fried rice without egg and fried cauliflower in my choice or sauce. I got the sweet chilli sauce for the cauliflower I believe. They do take a while for the food because they are always busy. Everything is made to order which is a plus. The food was just ok for me. I felt that the rice was a bit hard and not enough flavor for me. The cauliflower was pretty delicious and I feel like that is what saved the plate. Friendly service, just not a big fan of the fried rice. Try the cauliflower wings. You won't regret it.

I've been thinking about trying this place since I seen it on Instagram. It's about a 25 minute drive. Some of the other reviews said the wait time is long so I decided to call to place a order. In which I was told they are not accepting phone orders and I need to come in or place order online. I decided to wait till I got there because you can only place the order through a third-party company it seems like, and those prices be different. I got there and placed an order for two hibachi salmon plates. And specifically asked if they had the crab Rangoon. The young woman, taking my order, who was very helpful, went to the kitchen and asked and came back and told me yes. So I ordered those as well. Also, ended up ordering the trap juice. I was told my wait will be about 25 minutes. And it was exactly that. Also at the moment there is no tables so it seems to be Togo only. I was handed my food and was missing my crab Rangoon, and my drink. I noticed a drink right away and asked about it. I got to the car and realize that I was missing my crab Rangoon. When I came back inside to get them, I was told they didn't have anymore now how is that possible? They offered something else in its place. I ended up asking for a refund for the crab Rangoon. The salmon had good flavor. I just think it Was over cooked a bit. I enjoyed the rice and veggies with the garlic butter sauce they gave. I may try something else one day.

Saw all the great reviews and decided to try. Was very excited to see they had a vegetarian option. I ordered the fried cauliflower with trap sauce. 10/10 on the fried cauliflower, the trap sauce replicated a general tso's flavor. Very crispy and nicely flavored, awesome alternative for the veggie lovers!! Although the food was fresh the rice was dry and lacked flavor, many people raved about the rice. So I'm confused, the broccoli was nicely cooked but no seasoning.... The noodles were nice stir fry noodles, with a little added vegetable or cut up peppers it'd be something I order by itself. The plate is huge, but also a pretty penny. All in all, I understand the concept and appreciate such a fresh and accessible taste of hibachi. With time the flavors will only get better.

If you're looking for good Hibachi without going to the standard places like Benihana's or Blue ginger, this is the place you need to go! When ever I'm in the area I have to get a plate before heading south. I love how they do hibachi but with a twist. I highly recommend their Sweet chili Salmon. They flavors are unmatched. The salmon is always cooked perfectly and not over seasoned. I usually get the noodles and rice combo but today I decided to go with the fried rice. Everything was perfect even down to the broccoli. I do recommend you place your order online or call ahead. They wait could be long but trust me the food is worth it. Truly would not be disappointed. Staff is always friendly and keeps you updated on your food. This is a to go restaurant so be prepared to grab your food and go, no in dining seating.

Typically order over UberEats. The food is really good, seasoned very well. Can be a little salty, but still really great. I Got the salmon and shrimp hibachi combo with noodles and veggies. And the shrimp and chicken hibachi combo with noodles and veggies. Loved it. Also got a lemonade , not too sweet. Would order from them again!

Currently enjoying my fresh and tasty lobsters and salmon hibachi as I write this! This place is currently takeout only but it's very spacious (dine in coming soon). Prepare for a long wait however the food is definitely worth it; hot and ready! The menu is a bit pricy but the portion is fulfilling! i especially love the crab Rangoon

Food is amazing. MAKE SURE YOU CALL YOU ORDER IN FIRST THOUGH. It is a 20 minute wait if you don't. The sauces are delicious, the juice is delicious, the donuts are good. And the customer service is excellent. Love to support a black owned business.

Ordered 2 lunch specials today which came to a total of $31 and some cents. The steak and fried rice with spring roll for my boyfriend and chicken with noodles and spring roll for myself. I was really excited to try them because of the name and the idea behind it. Trap --bachi ? Lol why not try it. I have to give it 2 stars because it wasn't really good to be honest. The one and only ingredient I could taste in the food especially the chicken was SALT! Tooo much salt. My boyfriend steak was dry and bland but his fried rice was good. I don't know if I would order from them again, maybe the chef is having an off day and the salt got away from him...who knows. I did end up eating what I could because I was starving and didn't have any other option, I had limited time for my lunch break and I wouldn't be eating again till hours later.

Hardly noticeable on the outside but definitely heard of bc the line is long. Make sure to order ahead or be prepared up wait for goodness! I had the salmon which was borderline over cooked but considering my plate was empty I'm not even sure why I brought that up. Perhaps to say you might feel like you could make it better but this would be the spot to go if you don't want!

My friend suggested this restaurant. She was under the impression that we would be able to dine in. Upon arriving we realized it was take out only. We arrived around 9pm on a Sunday. I ordered a chicken hibachi the food took almost 30 min. For them closing at 10 the food was very fresh. I have no complaints. I will definitely try them again.

This the trip right here! You got the Grilled salmon, lobster, and shrimp with rice & veggies salmon

Our waiter checked in on how we were liking our meal and even turned a hot latte into iced without any problem. The outdoor patio is beautiful as it overlooks the beach right across the street. We went for breakfast which has a small but amazing menu. As a vegan myself I had to order off the "sides" portion of the menu and I ordered an English muffin and a sliced avocado - very affordable ($5 total). I also ordered the fruit platter ($10) which came with an array of yummy fruits including pear, melons, pineapple, oranges, grapes and strawberries. There was more than enough for our table of three! My daughter had the pancakes which came with a warmed jam, syrup, and whipped cream. She said they were very fluffy. My husband had the chaffles which are croissants pressed in a waffle maker. They came with the same sides as the pancakes. And again he said they were so light and fluffy. We rounded off our meal with iced lattes - mine made with oat milk - and they were outstanding. I usually do not like iced drinks but the weather called for it and I was not disappointed! Overall Takato's breakfast is A+ and the view takes it over the edge of greatness! I hope you get a chance to enjoy it as much as we did! We returned to Takato for dinner and what an amazing meal we had. My one warning is to ask about portion size as many dishes are worthy of sharing size. We ordered an array of food. My son loved the kimchi short rib tacos (2 to an order). My daughter had the duck bao and California roll - both received two thumbs up! My husband had the wagyu sliders which he thought were an appetizer but ended up being a good sized meal served with french fries. He said the burger roll was a bit dry and could have used a sauce. The fries received rave reviews. We also had the mushroom gyoza (5 to an order) and these were delicious. I had the Takato salad without cheese and it did not disappoint. It came in a big bowl with crispy tofu. And I also enjoyed the vegetable sushi which provided a light fragrant taste with a crunchy texture. Takato hits the mark on all fronts and will definitely be a place to which we return whenever we come to Ft. Lauderdale!

The ribs had ample enough meat and glazed to perfection where I didn't feel cheated. The espresso martini was not too sweet and not overbearing with the espresso taste which for me felt really smooth going down and enjoyable. To start, we ordered a Pearl Bourbon Smash and a Dragon Margarita. The Bourbon Smash was so good that we ordered a second one. The Margarita wasn't my favorite, but I finished it and followed it up with a Sensei Old Fashioned. For our entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ Bulgogi and the Korean Steak Chimicurri (spelled that way on the menu, so I'm not sure if it was intentional). The Bulgogi portion was generous, and we really wanted to love it, but unfortunately the meat arrived cold. That was disappointing, especially after being told that everything is made from scratch. My husband's entree was served about 10 minutes before mine, which wasn't ideal. Generally, guests dining together should be served at the same time. I encouraged him to start eating so his meal wouldn't get cold, but unfortunately it already was. My steak arrived hot and was cooked slightly more than the medium temperature I requested, leaning closer to medium-well. Despite that, I still enjoyed it. It was served with jasmine rice and maduros, which complemented the dish nicely. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience. The waterfront setting, pleasant service, and enjoyable cocktails made for a great outing. We would definitely consider returning, especially to combine dinner with one of the boat tours. I asked the server how long they have been open and he said 8 months but I see Yelp pics and reviews dating back at least 3 years. Someone must have told him the wrong information but no matter, we are just glad we finally found it. We went with the classic Shoyu Ramen with nishu beef and black garlic. I was over the moon when they touted a 12 hour chicken broth soup base. Every ramen shop I have tried to get ramen from has a pork based broth which I do not eat. I'm finally able to have ramen and boy it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a satisfying chew with every bite. The broth was so flavorful with the bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and all the slow cooked fats and oil from the chicken broth and the nishu beef, which was tender, thinly sliced rib-eye meat, I suspect. All this topped off with a perfectly cooked soy marinated egg. What an amazing flavor combination. The takoyaki appetizer was also delicious. Biting into the crispy exterior, you are then met with a soft and tender interior filled with chunks of octopus. The balls sat atop Japanese mayo and was drizzled with delicious takoyaki sauce. All it was missing was the katsuobushi which would have elevated the takoyaki flavor. We also ordered the Mala Shrimp which was on the Chinese menu and did not come with rice. That had to be ordered separately. Food came out quick as we were the only patrons apart from another table outside and service was good until a large party sauntered in and the server became inundated with requests. All in all, we will definitely be back to try out other menu items.
