OMGeeeeeeee The lemon cello martini ! Let's warn you beware it will sneak up on you. But so worth it - delicious ! We ordered a few appetizers, our server (sorry forgot her name I think starts with an L) she was AMAZING!! She constantly checked on us to make sure we were okay! Great service !! It was very packed, perfect location, easy to find and we definitely enjoyed our time. Would go back !

had an incredible dinner at Ukiah and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we sat down, the service was attentive and seamless, making the entire evening feel special. The food was truly the star of the show. We tried a variety of dishes, including the crispy tuna rice, the hamachi crudo, and the smoked wagyu brisket, and every bite was packed with flavor. The presentation was beautiful, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into the menu. We finished with the coconut cake, which was the perfect, light end to the meal. The atmosphere is chic and sophisticated, especially with the outdoor seating by the water. If you're in Ft. Lauderdale, this is easily one of the best spots for a high-quality meal and great vibes. I'll definitely be back!

I've been wanting to try this place since it first opened and finally got to try it out tonight on Valentine's Day. I took my mom out, who is a huge Asian food lover so we were excited to try this place out. Upon entry, we were immediately greeted by the host and confirmed we wanted an outside table. I wish I had asked to sit inside cause it was soooo windy out and a little freezing and they didn't have heaters or any kind of wind shield. I'm not the kind of person to ask to change tables after I've been sat so I toughed it out but it was slightly miserable out there for me haha. I'm not holding that against the restaurant though I know they don't control the weather, just would have been nice to have heaters or something. Moving on, once sat, it took our server a little while to greet us which was slightly annoying as the restaurant was pretty empty for Valentine's Day, but also wasn't going to let that ruin the night. We ordered our water and drinks and she gave us the run down of the place/menu and how things work. Our server was very nice and informative and friendly. As for the food, we decided to opt out of the tasting menu and just pick specific items we wanted to try and share. I like how things here come out as they're ready as it spreads the food delivery out and gives you time to eat and enjoy each item slowly. The food was all super good quality and super delicious, but I do feel some of it was a bit overpriced for what you're getting. The drinks were nice too, but personally not my favorite vibe. The vibe of the restaurant was okay. You could hear the music from the wharf the whole time, and though it wasn't loud enough to disturb your meal, it set the vibe off. They should really play louder more vibey music to try to drown the wharf out. I also don't think the vibe of the restaurant was anything crazy. It's nice just being on the river walk but other than that I didn't get crazy amazing vibes from the ambiance/decor. I did like how the bar was indoor/outdoor. All in all, I did have a good meal and time, but I don't know if I'm dying to come back or go out of my way to come back.

I visited Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse while visiting Ft. Lauderdale to see family friends. When I saw Japanese Soul Food mixed with American BBQ.. I was so excited to get to eating... The service was truly amazing from start to finish. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and so helpful with picking dishes out for us. The manager checked on us and the kitchen was quick to get dishes to our party of 5. The dining area strikes the perfect balance between stylish and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for both a special night out and a relaxed group dinner. Dark woods, contemporary mood lighting all around and an attractive base showcased indoors. I love that it's right by the city canal which is not a common scene for me back home. We went family stle which turned out to be the best decision because every dish was worth trying Karaage Chicken - The kids loved the non-spicy version, the older kids dug the spicy done. Tiger Prawns Pastrami Short Rib - wow..rich, smoky and yum Shishito Peppers Rock Shrimp - my favorite dish here. That blue cheese added was creative and made this for me. sliced Hamachi - refreshingly yum as well sweet potato with bacon bites - The most interesting and best sweet potato I've had in a bit. Chocolate Miso Cake - Great fusion and not too sweet. My foodie bff sure knows her stuff and knew I would love it here. Next visit in the area, I'll definitely swing by again to try more dishes. Cheers!

The food was really good and definitely the best part. It was kind of hard to find though and parking wasn't the easiest. Also a little pricey, but overall still a good experience. It's right by the Riverwalk so you get some really pretty views too.

Finally made it to Ukiah in Fort Lauderdale with a friend for brunch after months of seeing videos on TikTok & Instagram. There is valet in front of the restaurant, but you can also find street parking or park in a nearby garage. They had a nice vibe going with a DJ and the restaurant wasn't packed which was nice. Ukiah is also on the water so it also adds to the overall ambiance. The servers and food runners were great, they were checking in on us whenever they passed by and our main server gave some good recommendations, but also let us know that their dinner menu had better options. Overall, I didn't find any dish we ordered to be truly memorable, but I would give this restaurant another try for dinner.

The service was amazing--everyone was incredibly attentive from start to finish. Since it was our first time at Ukiah, we decided to go with the tasting menu so we could try a variety of dishes, and it was definitely the right choice. We started with the shishito peppers and the sliced tuna, which were both very refreshing. The salmon crispy rice came next; it was good, but in my personal opinion it felt like it was missing something--maybe a bit of spice or citrus--since it was a little bland for my taste. Everything else, though, was absolutely out of this world. You have to try the brisket and the sweet potato--both were incredible. The snapper skewer was my absolute favorite and truly stood out. Overall, a fantastic experience and we'll definitely be back.

Amazing happy hour specials at this lively spot right on the river. Appetizers were great, we had every option of the crispy rice sashimi, my favorite was the hamachi. The chicken karaage was perfectly cooked and the kewpie sauce was a great, authentic addition. Waygu skewers were excellent and well prepared. The staff was surprisingly nice given how busy they were as well. Awesome spot before a show at the Broward Center as well!

While I wasn't sure what to expect the first time I visited, I can tell you that the terrific service and great food that I received has me going back time and time again. We first checked it out during "Dine Fort Lauderdale" as they had a $60 prix fixe dinner that allowed us to taste a wide range of the menu. Ukiah, which is haiku spelled backwards (I like little things like that) is a Japanese smokehouse which is sort of a fusion of all the things I like about Japanese food and BBQ. Some of my favorites on the menu are the dumplings, the ribs, the pork buns, and the brisket. Trust me- you won't go hungry here! The drinks are well poured, service is terrific and the location on the new river can't be beat. I hope they put signage out by the turn on 2nd street so that people can find this place as I would hate to see it go the way of it's predecessor. We can walk here but the last time I went, they had someone parking cars down at the end so you should call and see if that is still the case. Definitely worth a trip to check out!

As titanium Marriott bonvoy members, we received a breakfast voucher each morning of our stay, which is good for your choice of coffee or orange juice and an entree from a select menu (see pics). I found the select menu to have many great options. I had the "smothered burrito" which was huge and delicious and did not have any beans. The "traditional eggs Benedict" was typical and came with a large portion of their potatoes- yum. The "huevos rancheros" was great too but I wished it had those potatoes. My husband had the "applewood bacon and poached egg avocado toast" twice because it was so good. We ordered two additional eggs sunny to go with it, as that dish only had one poached egg. He also got the "two eggs your way" which comes with choice of protein, potatoes and two slices of sourdough toast w butter (no jam). He ordered bacon egg and cheese taco with that dish to maximize his protein intake. That was tasty. Everything we ate here was a good portion. I saw the regular menu. Dishes are about $16. The pancakes looked awesome- maybe we will get that next time. Pancakes would pair well with the hash- it looks like a huge dish. They have a breakfast cocktail menu. I had the bloody Maria (nothing special but it said house made bloody mix so I wanted to try it), which came with a celery stick. I think next time I'll do the coffee inspired cocktails. Those sound amazing. We ate inside because the wind was crazy like 25mph. We ate outside one day, when the wind wasn't as bad, and found that there are some pesky birds trying to steal food off of server trays. So if you don't want the birds, sit inside. The place gets busy; you can make a reservation. We never had to wait in line long or wait for a table, but I think that's because we're hotel guests. Once sat, we did wait more than 20 min to receive our food. But it's ok. The coffee is good. The restaurant turns into Lona for lunch and dinner. They give you the Lona drink menu for breakfast too if you're more in the mood for a margarita. Bar seating is first come first served. Bathrooms are inside the hotel lobby. There is no parking for the restaurant but you can valet.

My order consisted of the Machaca Skillet and a side of Papas Racheras (potatoes). The positives were, a) the portion size (massive amount of food) and b) the great flavor of the Machaca (shredded beef with onions, bell pepper & tomato. Now the negatives, a) the 3 poached eggs were all over-cooked/hard yolks, b) the side of potatoes were cold and had an unappealing texture. I'm not positive but I have a feeling they were left over from the day before because I arrived at 7am which is when this restaurant opens so if they made the potatoes fresh they couldn't have been this bad and c) after the waiter took my order and never saw him again until I was ready for the bill. He never checked in on me which is a shame because I had pierced all 3 eggs to show him the hard yolks and ate very slowly so the proof would be on the plate when he checked on me but alas, he never showed. If I lived in the area I may give them another try because of the potential with this dish.

This entire cafe is outdoors, so it's best to visit during weather where you can tolerate being outdoors. There is lots of shade, so the sun won't be beating on you directly, and there are fans around the tables as well. There are also those little fly fans on each table to keep flies away from your food, so it's clear that they've done their due diligence with creating a comfortable outdoor environment. This was my first time visiting, and I was pleased with everything I ordered. My fiance had been here once before on his own, and brought me along this time to experience it for myself! I ordered the iced Rosa Latte, the Breakfast Bowl, and a plan Belgian waffle. He had an iced Chai Latte, and the Pancake Sandwich. Here are our thoughts of each item: Rosa Latte: I got mine with almond milk, and it was just the right amount of sweet. The rose syrup brings a truly unique flavor that I can hardly describe myself! If you like your tea with milk and honey (or any sweetener) and you also like lattes, you'll enjoy this. Breakfast Bowl: everything was cooked perfectly. I was surprised at the heaping scoop of perfectly ripe avocado on top--I wasn't expecting so much avocado, in a good way. Most restaurants are stingy with avocado. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and everything tasted like an extremely well made home breakfast. The eggs were not salted, which I preferred because I was able to add the amount of salt I wanted. Pancake Sandwich: My fiance ordered this one, and he described it as the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The pancake (bread) was a normal pancake size, which made the sandwich a bit difficult to hold given that pancakes aren't very firm, so some people might find it easier to use utensils to eat this. I tasted the pink mayonnaise, and it tasted homemade! If you like deviled eggs, the pink mayonnaise tastes like fresh deviled eggs. It's lovely. Overall, this was a super pleasant experience. The server that my fiance had last time (I didn't catch his name) also remembered him and stopped by our table to say hello. The prices here are a bit higher for a breakfast cafe, but once you taste everything you'll understand why. It's clear that all the food and drinks use fresh ingredients, and the staff takes pride in it!

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

I especially love coming here for their coffee. The service style is great; you order at the counter and then pick a spot to sit, and the friendly staff brings everything right to your table. We stopped in today and caught it at a great time when it wasn't as busy as usual. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, four-cheese pizza, and avocado toast, along with the Alchemist coffee, passionfruit tea, and a Sprite. Everything was delicious, and sitting in the outdoor seating area is always a highlight. This place is an absolute five stars to me--after eight years, it never lets us down!

I enjoy their cold coffees and freshly made food: the Greek or Mediterranean toast with olives and feta is my favor: you'll be surprised how filled up you get. The service is what it is. Please when it's time to order and when they bring the food but that's okay. There's nothing formal about this place. It's cozy and beautiful with the greenery. They have lots of parking and I've never had an issue. The best feeling is having breakfast alone in the am. I could stay there forever. Definitely recommend
