I would not recommend this service to anyone who wants reliable transportation. We booked a ride to the airport, which arrived 13 minutes before our pickup time and then proceeded to take another passenger from the hotel. Even though we arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled pickup time. To make matters worse, while they have a great text notification system, it NEVER told us the car left. Worse yet was they never sent another car, until we called and asked where our vehicle went. If you're going to allow a driver to do that, SEND ANOTHER CAR. Inexcusable. read more

Where to start. Terrible, aggressive driver Farzin was his name. He tailgated a person to the point of discomfort for all 7 of us in vehicle. We had arranged this service thru our hotel Fairmont Concierge. Trip of just 1.5 miles to Eddie Vs was $45 We decided we did not want him taking us back so we ordered an Uber SUV and guess who came to get us as he must double dip with car service and Uber. He then got angry with us and said he didn't appreciate us calling Uber! Even though he was the Uber driver too. The same exact trip home was $28 Uber. This company is a scam with rude, aggressive drivers. Just get an Uber and save your money read more

Since I was on a business trip, the bill for my ride was directly billed, I am not sure how much it costs to be picked up from the Phoenix airport and dropped off at the Residence Inn in Scottsdale. I was impressed with the car as it looked very new and the interior was very nice with soft leather seats. I was picked up promptly by a nice driver who also helped me with my luggage. The gentleman on the phone was also very polite when I called to be picked up at the airport and walked me through where to go and wait for my ride. The only thing that bothered me a little was that corporate let us know clearly that both the gratuity and the fee was taken care of for me but the driver tried to convince me that the gratuity wasn't included. I didn't get his name but he said he was from Ethiopia. On the other hand, my co-worker mentioned that her driver was awesome and gave her so many tips on where to go and what to do in the area that she tried to give him additional tip but he told her that it's already included and not necessary! I was on a work related trip in Arizona and was a bit far from the hotel that the meeting was at. The hotel contracts with this company to provide an hourly shared sedan/suv transport to the airport. Unlike some shuttles this is a car or an suv rather then a 15 passenger van. The shuttle goes from the hotel directly to the airport, no side trips to other hotels to maximize the transport. Nice vehicles and comfortable rides in over 100 degree weather. The drivers were quick and courteous. Price wise was 1/3 of the estimated taxi ride and 1/5 of what some of my colleagues got charged in the taxi. Fixed times and fixed prices make it a reasonable choice for leaving the hotel to get to the airport in a timely fashion. Cars were clean and well maintained. The vehicles were also not overloaded and crowded. If there are more reservations then there are spots for the hourly "shuttle" then more vehicles are brought in. Since they require a reservation for the lower price this can be planned ahead of time. Overall this is one of the best airport shuttle systems that I have seen or used from a hotel to the local airport. read more

With me, the driver didn't matter because the company was engaging in Mafia-style tactics. The driver, Massoud, was a gem. That said, I am writing a letter to the company who employs him and filing a BBB complaint, toothless as that may be. On Jan. 9, I called Transtyle because Execucar was booked for the BCS Championship. I am a little irked with Execucar for the recommendation. Anyway, I call and ask how much it would cost to pick me and my pal up in downtown Phoenix and take us to Glendale for the game. The man tells me $57 each way. Fair enough, I say, book it. I have three witnesses who heard me repeat the price to the guy on the phone. Well, Massoud -- again, a pure gem -- arrives 10 minutes early. He's affable, he knows shortcuts around traffic and he gets us there in no time. When we arrive, he hands me an invoice for $110. I thought he wanted me to pay for the round trip, which I've never been asked by a car service to do, so I inquire. No, Massoud explains, it costs $110 each way. Gameday "special," he says. I told him that wasn't the deal. He put his boss on the phone. So, the boss' first question is, "Who did you speak to?" Really?? I'm thinking, car services have only one job, right? Someone requests a car, the car service quotes a price and picks them up. Right? What does it matter who I spoke to? You quoted me a price that directed my decision to patronize your company. Now, honor it. Well, Massoud's boss had a different idea. Transtyle would honor the price I was quoted the day before for the ride there, but we would have to pay $110, $130 with tip, to get back. In essence, his solution was to drop two out-of-staters off in a strange place in the middle of nowhere and then charge usdouble if we wanted to go home. Like I said, Mafia style. Bogus. Very likely the worst experience ever and not just because they were charging the same price I've paid to take four people from Manhattan to New Jersey. The whole experience felt predatory and I thoroughly resent it. Needless to say, I didn't call for a ride home. We'll see what the city, Transtyle and BBB have to say soon. read more

Brutal service! I hired transtyle to transport a few executives to and from the airport at conference in Arizona. I created an account with my companies credit card before arriving, I sent them a copy of the credit card and ID for their system. I met the first important exec upon his arrival, where the driver was about to take his credit card, saying the trip had not been paid for. I ran over and stopped the driver explaining that we have an account. Took about 5minutes for him to ok it.. Annoying! During the conference I made a few more bookings with the company, every time I called they put me on hold for like 5 minutes and then would spend another 10 minute trying to locate my account. They told me several times the can't find the account before I would tell them to look again and it would magically appear. For my own ride to the airport I booked a car from transtyle, arrival was prompt and the trip was fine. When I got out of the car the driver did not get out and help me with bags, instead he asked me for my credit card. I explained have pre booked, he made a phone call, hung up the phone and told me I would have to use my credit card.. Not happening. I called the company myself, very frustrated, the driver shrugged his shoulders and said "it's not my fault", major attitude issue. Finally they approved and I left, after ten minutes outside the airport. Their awful, don't trust them with your important execs, they might let you down. The Fairmont princess might recommend them but I would go with another company. read more

The car was great and comfortable, but the driver kept speeding up and slowing down so quickly, I started to feel ill. The driver also had on a vulgar radio station with profanities as well as uncomfortable commentary about sex books. I wouldn't call myself a prude, but definitely not the right station to have on in a car with a client in it. My driver also asked me if I could tip in cash, which I found to be terribly inappropriate. This is a black car service, not a yellow cab. I guess overall the cars are great, but the drivers should be vetted or trained a little better. read more

Very impressed with service. Driver sent friendly text when he arrived at location. It was also helpful to have his phone number via text as added convenience if I happened not to see him. Driver was early which was convenient for me. It was easy to locate him at entrance of hotel lobby, as he was waiting patiently with electronic device with my name on display. recently used Transtyle for a Bachelorette in the area. We got the stretch hummer which was great but many things went wrong with the service and after multiple calls to the company nothing was done to compensate me for the issue so I am taking it to yelp! 1. The driver "claimed" the hummer was too big to get around the 2nd turn around of our hotel so we had to get driven all the way to the bottom to meet him. Our hotel later told us that far larger vehicles had made the turn but the driver clearly did not want to. 2. There was no cord to plug in our ipod which the company failed to tell me we would need beforehand. I would think nowadays this would be standard. 3. The driver did not show us how to use any of the features in the car and even when we asked how to he did not even know himself. 4. The radio didn't work!!! This was the most infuriating thing because it really killed the mood during the drive and made not having the ipod even more annoying! 5. The driver just was not helpful and unaccomodating. This is why I wish I could have not left him a tip but was forced to! Overall it was a VERY expensive and disappointing experience. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I also called the company 6 times the week after to speak with the manager and he never called me back. Transportation services were contracted and paid for by my employer for a private event. The driver, nor Transtyle, were part of this arrangement, and my guest and I were charged $70 for a ride from the company event. The driver should not have been at the private event whatsoever. Attempts to contact the company directly and discuss the matter have gone ignored. read more

Busses were to be used for three day convention and failed to show up on the third day, most disappointing. No real explanation as to why ..........many people missed the last day of the convention. Horrible. We were supposed to be picked up at 5:50 for a big charity event and they never showed up even though everything was confirmed the day before AND an hour before. Even worse, we had to spend 5 minutes on the phone with someone who apparently had no idea where the car was and finally told us it would be another 10-15 minutes. We used Uber instead. read more

Our bus driver Milton felt the need to make a 15 minuets personal bathroom break while the 42 passengers and i weren't allowed to exit the bus. Milton also made us wait 45 minutes since he couldn't afford the gas and had to make several calls to get the money for it. He swerved the bus several times and ran over a curb causing the whole bush to shake for a good 10 seconds, if you're going to hire a bus driver for 40, 14-15 year old girls make sure they know how to drive. Pros: Very prompt both in pick up and drop off Cons: Dirty/too warm vehicles and shady credit card practices in my case. (First trip from Airport to Hotel:) I made reservations online for a pick up at the Phoenix airport and used my credit card to hold the reservation because that is what is required when you reserve online. I called the company just to confirm the reservation and they told me that I could pay cash to avoid the 5% credit card fee they charge. Driver picked us up promptly after I called to say we had retrieved our luggage from baggage claim. The car was very hot however as the driver did not bother to cool it down before picking us up. Upon arriving at our destination I tried to pay cash (to avoid the credit card 5% fee they charge) but driver told me it was "taken care of" with no explanation and no receipt. I should have insisted upon a receipt. I asked him "who paid for the ride?" and he said "the company" so I figured the convention we were attending had covered our ride expense from the airport to the hotel. We then gave him a $10.00 tip (in cash) because we believe in tipping very strongly. Then a month later, I receive my credit card bill and not only was I charged on my credit card for the ride to the hotel from the airport but I was also charged the 5% fee and the $10.00 tip! So the driver got the tip in cash and on the credit card! So customers beware of the drivers using your credit card. Insist upon a receipt no matter what they say. I called the company and they did credit me the $10.00 tip but did not refund the 5% fee for the credit card being used, which I tried to avoid by paying cash. (Return trip back to airport from hotel:) Again the car was warm, not very clean and the trunk was broken. The trunk would open but the lid would come back down as soon as you opened it. We had an older female driver who was too frail to help with luggage. That was fine. But what we did not appreciate was that my husband was bashed on the head when the trunk lid came crashing down on him when he retrieved the luggage from the trunk. Final analysis: I will not use this company ever again due to their shady credit card practices in my situation, whether or not it was intentional, and the condition of the cars and the drivers. But as I said, they were very prompt in picking us up. read more

Transtyle is a premium priced service that fails to deliver what they promise. I made a prepaid reservation for pick-up at Sky Harbor. I called when my luggage appeared and was told the driver would pick me up in 3-minutes. I called 4-more times in the next 25-minutes and was told the same thing. Once the driver showed up nearly half an hour late; I had to drag my wife and my luggage 200 yards because the driver went to the wrong location and would not leave the car. Once I got into the car; the driver had no idea how to get back onto the freeway and get to my house. He then went on to tell me that he was late because while waiting at the airport to pick me up the dispatcher called and told him to make a quick run off of the airport. I wanted a comfortable ride home and was willing to pay the premium. The worst part is my home is about 2-blocks from the companies office and the driver had no idea where he was going. In the end I paid nearly twice what a cab would have been and forced to stand at the curb in the 108 degree heat. I called the office the next day and asked to speak with the owner/general manager. I spoke with Dominique and she told me that he would call me back. I latter stopped at their office and I showed Dominique the 5-calls that I made over 30-minutes. In that I had not heard from the owner/general manager she offered to "make it up" the next time I rode with them. I told her that all I wanted was an apology from the person with the authority to fire the dispatcher for repeatedly lying to me. She assured me that he would definitely call me. Well it is now three days latter and I have heard from nobody. Lesson learned; this company does not care about its customers. read more

Very iffy on this one. The ride from the resort to restaurant: the wait for the car was a bit long, but bearable, it cost $30 for a 2 mile ride. So OK, I guess. The ride from the restaurant back to the resort: the wait for the car was about 30 minutes! I had to call twice - the 'new girl' thought we said we were at the resort. Now, if were weren't there, wouldn't they have suspected something after a while? In any case, the only saving grace was that the return trip driver, the owner, did not charge us for that long 2 mile trip. I would be wary of the cost and the reliability. read more

Kind of tough to review via Yelp as there is no breakdown of ride vs customer service. So, I'll break it down for you: 1. Ride = Wonderful. Got there on time, in a super nice vehicle, with class. Driver found no need to do a lot of chit chat unless I started it. So, A ++ for that. Enjoyed the ride. 2. When I got out of car, gave him my credit card, he had automatically put in a 20% tip and just said sign at the bottom. I was always under the assumption that the customer decides when a tip should come, not the driver. Just poor form on the drivers part. I've been inside their limo and their large bus. I was incredibly impressed with the cleanliness and service I received. The drivers all went above and beyond and treated us like this was their own business. The vehicles are pristine and in great shape. I've used limo service around the country and Transtyle is by far the best. You can tell they take great care in their company and employees because that integrity translates all the way through. My daughter stood on the curb at Sky Harbor for 30 minutes, late on a recent Friday night, despite calling twice, at plane arrival and again in baggage claim. The pickup was prearranged earlier in the day and Transtyle was given the destination address. The driver went to the wrong address and then had my daughter call the destination residence for directions (when I put the address into my iphone the GPS found it immediately). A cab would have been faster by probably 45 minutes and cost less too. Two phone calls and an email to Transtyle have not earned a response. They may be a little cheaper than Exec Car or Roadrunner but don't be tempted. ... and worst of all at the end of the day they don't even care. read more

The driver was extremely rude. First he picked me up at the Kierland Resort and then proceeded to stop in the driveway and take a phone call. I could over hear that he was being reprimanded by his employer for not following direction. We sat there for 10 minutes. Then I asked him to take Scottsdale Blvd as I knew the freeway had a lot of traffic and he did for 2 blocks and then went to the freeway where there was traffic. I was quoted $31 and when I got to the baseball park, he said $34. I said he quoted $31 and he said oh yes. I did not leave a gratuity as he made me late for the event. Just received my credit card statement and he also charged me twice. Clean car, but bad driver. read more

My first ride was okay. My second ride was awful. I had a 6am flight and requested to be picked up at 4am from my hotel. No one showed. I call and they say he'll be there in just a minute. No one came. Finally, I talked to the bellman about other options and told him how no one showed up from Transtyle. He said, "oh, we have extra Transtyle cars right here." Why are there extra cars when the one I reserved cant even show up on time. The car smelled like someone shattered a bottle of cologne in it. The music was loud, especially for the wee hours of the morning. Then, when we pulled up to the airport, he said I would have to pay cash because his system wasn't working. I said, I don't have cash, only a card and he said I'd have to go to the ATM inside the airport. I knew he was scamming me and told him I only have a credit card, so if he wanted to get paid, he'd have to accept it. Suddenly, his system was working. HE ASKED HOW MUCH I WAS GOING TO TIP HIM! He offered to calculate 20% or 25% for me. What a douche. While I hope I just got a bad driver, I will not be using Transtyle ever again. read more

I live in Arizona, so I am a returning customer, I have never, ever had an issue with Transtyle, drivers are well trained and professional. They have lots of new luxury cars and their fees are very reasonable The best thing about them is, they are always on-time. Once, I was in rush to airport and it was around 5PM (right in rush hour traffic), the driver was able to get me there right on time using alleys he knew, I would not be able to get to my flight on time, without him. They are also very high tech, drivers use the latest GPS and reservation technology which helps them give me such a great service :-). Also I forgot to mention that, they just lunched their iphone app, LOVE IT, make reservations a whole lot easier :-) read more

I was in Scottsdale for a work related seminar and did not rent a car. This car service was already at the hotel when I wanted to go to the mall, so I used it. The car was nice and clean and the driver was nice until I went to pay for the service. He was clearly not happy that I was using a credit card and muttered something about the fare only being $17 and the fees he would be charged. He charged me an additional $2 which I did not question and was not told about in advance. If he had not been so rude about the credit card, I would have used him for the return trip to the hotel. My son is currently attending a Nike Golf camp in Arizona. They recommended Transtyle, http://www.transtyle.com/contact.html. On Friday, I confirmed reservations, that they would take Visa and the discounted price. They emailed back a confirmation of the pickup and the discount. Saturday, the driver picked up the kids from the airport. At the hotel, the driver demanded payment in cash, would not honor the discount and would not provide a receipt. In short, the driver left my son in Arizona without any cash and intentionally overcharged the kids. I called the company on Saturday and talked to the GM who said that he would look into it and get back to me. As of today, Monday COB the GM has done nothing to respond to the situation. Sure, things happen, but doing nothing to address the situation is just wrong especially when you're talking about kids. read more

I just had the worst experience with this service. The driver was 30 mins late with no call. I had to call the company and they told me that the driver was already there. I was standing in my front yard and I can tell you he wasn't there. He finally showed up in the hummer limo I ordered. He didn't know how to drive it, couldn't follow directions, started driving before my brother was in the car (one foot still outside) and it seemed like he had never driven before. We called the company asking for a different driver but there wasn't one available. We ended our night early and I can tell you I will NEVER use this company again. Transtyle are crooks. The hotel in Scottsdale reccomended this service claiming we had a group rate of $20. When I called to book the reservation, I was told I didn't call before the cutoff. What cutoff? So, I'm told itll be $40, but I can get the return to the airport for $20. When I called a few days later to confirm my ride, I was again told it would be $20. So, the driver picks me up, takes me to the airport and charges me $40. I am so disgusted. I called the company and I get the run around. Beware! Definitely unscrupulous and shady. read more
