She did a HORRIBLE job, and didn't style out my hair, so i didn't know it until I got home and really got a good look at it. I asked for a ash blonde balayage and paid $300 by the time I tipped, and my hair looks like complete trash. Myra offered to fix it and I initially rescheduled with her, but after thinking about it, I texted her and asked her to be $100 percent honest if she thought she could fix it and she never responded. I ended up scheduling for a color correction at a different salon because I can't trust this girl. I left a message on the Salon retro site to Kathy (I believe she's the owner) and got no response, so I called the Salon and Kathy answered. She said "Myra said you loved your hair when she was done" and I told Kathy, Myra didn't style it out. In fact, after thinking about it, I think she did that on purpose because she knew it was a sloppy job and she was ripping me off, but she told me the reason she wasn't styling it out was because she already did a lot to my hair and didn't want to overdo it. I should have known right then and there she was full of s#$t, because I have never been to a Salon and paid that kind of money and left without dry, styled hair. If you took the time to read all this, please take my advice and don't risk going to this place. What a waste of time and money. In response to Kathy's comment: ummm... yeah... I said all that in my review, but I also said I opted not to go back to her because I don't feel confident she would be able to fix it. Not worth the risk. Also, why you commenting on my review? You can't help me because she's not your employee. Don't be on my review bumping your gums. I deserve a partial refund but I know that isn't going to happen, so mind your own business.

A female employee came outside (the OWNER Amy) and began to question us as to why we were there. I responded respectfully by saying we were just staying out of the heat and I just needed somewhere to work on school work until my work out. She rudely responded by saying this was employee parking and I needed to move. I asked if there was signage posted saying that I was allowed and she ignored me and walked back inside. She then proceeded to call the police on us. While on the phone with them, I asked her "what if I was a customer of yours waiting on an appointment" she again rudely responded saying "then you would know to park in the front" and slammed the door. Police showed up and kindly reassured us that we were allowed to be there and we were not doing anything wrong by being there. They even mentioned how they get calls like this all the time. SMH. What a waste of tax payer dollars due to snobby residents. I am just absolutely appalled at how rude and judgmental this woman was. Just because I'm traveling out of a van doesn't mean I'm less than you and you can talk down to me. I don't recommend supporting this pretentious business at all. It's not hard to be a decent human being. Amy, be better.

Good vibe they had some holiday decorations up & healthy looking plants which I dig. Felt like someone's home which may not be for everyone but I feel more comfortable in places like that. It felt more personal. Don't like the bright sterile lighting, loud music, gaudy decor, crowded scene.. Anyway SHE LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED, respected my declination of her suggestion & did what I asked. Not to sound rude but I'm very sensitive about my hair as it's been damaged so many times in the past by previous stylists I thought I could trust. She listened to my horror stories & got that. I ended up getting a deep condition too while I was there, why not? Decent product line. She was personable & we chatted but not over the top blabbering. I can't stand that. I felt very easy around her she put off a good vibe. I've already scheduled my next visit this place is MY SALON and I refer everyone here. Thanks ladies!

If you're looking for a great place to get your hair done, look no further…read more.. I decided to take the plunge and drive out there from Colbert, and it was worth it. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. This place offers a modern and refreshing atmosphere with a family-like vibe. As soon as you walk in, you are warmly greeted and offered a beverage, including some sparkling options that make you feel pampered. The open-concept layout creates a spacious and comfortable environment, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Despite the "no walk-ins" policy, they were still able to accommodate someone who came in, demonstrating their exceptional service. Alicia and Tonya have been taking care of my hair for many years, and they always go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. They offer custom color and cuts, as well as lived-in look & hand-tied extensions, and lash and brow services. Trust me, you won't regret visiting this amazing place for your hair care needs. Their outstanding service comes at a fair price - that's what sets them apart. Mane Collective 1310 N Whitman Ln Unit 103 Liberty Lake, WA 99019 United States Monday- Saturday 8:30-7pm 509-425-3551

I have been a loyal client for over 4 years, I've seen the same hairdresser for that entire time…read more For 4 years, I have come in once every 3 months for a cut and color. My last service had issues that warranted a correction, my stylist was more than happy to go ahead and make the necessary corrections to my hair. Unfortunately the correction she made faded within two weeks time. I called to see if I could come in and have her look at my hair and see why it faded so quickly and what we could do to make a more permanent solution to the corrections she made. The owner reached out to me Instead. I was told I was aggressive. She didn't like my tone and when I explained to her that was my personality I have a sharp tone I'm also very direct, but by no means was I disrespectful. I'm just a to the point kind of gal. The service I received was garbage. The work that was done was lazy and it was giving Great Clips quality. I'm sorry those facts hurt your feelings, but charging someone over $300 you'd expect from a "high-end salon" better service. I was cut off, my personality and character were criticized, I was judged, and then I was told that she is cutting all ties and I'm not allowed to come back to her salon. She then graciously wanted to throw in she'll refund me. In 2026 people have problems paying rent, getting quality medical policies, and feeding their child, luxuries like hair and nails are not something that women are prioritizing anymore. Lindsay (Owner) if you see this message, I hope it humbles you because the clients that grace you with their presence and utilize your services are what keep your business afloat. You just took a 4+ year client away from a senior stylist now I'm sure my $300 every three months isn't going to damage her pocketbook, but have enough transactions like that and it will. My suggestion to you would be to work on your conflict resolution, because it's garbage-- much like you management skills :) Have the day you deserve
