Don't over book your schedule, it's stupid and makes a lasting impression on customers to make them wait for *you* when they have made a set time for their appointment. Got a hair cut, high lights, and eyebrow wax. This place was recommended to me by an acquaintance, but I'm less than satisfied. I'm finding it really hard to find a good hair salon in Spokane that have stylist that listen to you and your wants. The highlights were ok, a bit overpriced. They weren't as blonde as I'd like them to be, as I usually get them blonde, not dark blonde, and the highlights were sparse, compared to the full head foils I get. The hair cut was ok, but she cut my bangs too short, and as with most stylists, never listen to what I want. The eyebrow wax was ok, but in all honesty you could go to a shady nail salon and get a cheaper wax, and maybe comparable service. She didn't wax all my hairs, as there were strays I needed to pluck when I got home, but she did a great job shaping them, and my arch wasn't lost in the process. Hair products were sparse and over priced, went to NW Beauty instead and got what I needed for reasonable pricing. the stylist was really nice, but she didn't really listen to what I wanted, which I'm starting to get really annoyed at. I mean, where's all the good salons at? I see women with awesome hair around Spokane and I am baffled at where to find a decent hair salon. I spent a little over $180, including tip. I won't be back, the search continues for an awesome hair stylist that specializes in awesome coloring. All in all, I was just thankful she didn't fry my hair like Studio 525 did, which the stylist said I still have residual damage to my hair cuticle, and she told me what they did: They made my cuticle explode from leaving the product in, and styling the hair before washing all the product out. So, the hair stylist at Transitions was very knowledgeable, and knew the science of hair.
