They gave me a delivery date for my toy teacup maltipoo and everything went great. He arrived exactly when they said he would. He arrived clean, happy, and healthy with all of his paperwork and food. I took him to the vet the next day and they said he was in great shape, healthy, and had a great personality. He looked exactly like the photos and his personality is perfect. It seems like they likely represent multiple breeders given the volume of dogs they have on the site but my experience was great.

I had left instructions of how much to feed her, vet name and number, emergency vet number, etc. , etc. And this is after Devin came into my apartment and I had gone over everything with her! Devin texted me, took pictures and gave me a detailed description of how Mia was doing when I was gone. She cleaned her kitty litter, tried to play with her and even gave her treats! Mia hid from her but by the second day she actually came out of her hiding place. When Devin texted me that, it made me so happy! I did not worry at all about how Mia was doing by being alone because I knew that she was in good hands. I really enjoyed myself without having to be stressed out! It was so wonderful. Long story short, summer of 2025 our Border Collie had bruising and spots on her stomach. Went to her primary care doc who treated her with meds but the results were not consistent so we were referred to Carolina Veterinary Specialists Greensbor. Dr. Gavin Olsen took the case. After performing some test, it was determined that she had Thrombocytopenia which basically translates to extremely low platelet counts. She was bleeding on the inside and with her low counts could be fatal. Dr. Olsen provided us treatment options and a very thorough treatment plan. Fast forward to now....almost a year later. Our sweet Collie has been off all meds for about 4 months and her latest 3 month checkup came back perfect! We will continue with 3 month checkups for a while just to make sure everything continues to look good. I want to thank Dr. Olsen and the amazing and caring staff at Carolina Veterinary Specialists Greensboro. They literally saved our girl. We are forever grateful for this amazing team of specialists.

The groomers and front staff really seem to enjoy their jobs and working with the dogs. Even when they appear busy, they still manage to have our three dogs ready within 3-4 hours after drop off and always call 30 mins before they are ready, allowing us the perfect amount of time to drive out there to pick them up! They also allow us to tip their workers via credit/debit, saving us a trip to the ATM!

The three animals said they had a fantastic time at their doggie spa. They are so happy - we LOVE Sherrill and her team. The groomer did an amazing job on our Bichon and our Schnauzer. We boarded our cat here from Saturday the 10th around 1 PM until Monday around 2 PM. This isn't our…read morefirst time boarding him here, and we've been bringing him to this location for over a year. He's a long-haired tuxedo cat with some health issues and takes two medications twice a day, including anxiety medication. Both are pills that we administer at home without an issue. When we picked him up, he was screaming, smelled strongly of urine, and ended up peeing in his carrier on the way home. Around 2:30 PM, I received a voicemail saying they had decided not to bathe him because he was too stressed and they didn't want to add to that stress. However, when we checked his medications, we realized he hadn't been given his anxiety medication all weekend. When I called, I was told they had tried giving it to him in a treat, but he wouldn't take it. Yet the pills were still in the bottle when we picked him up. My biggest issue is that nobody contacted us once to let us know they were having trouble administering his medication. When I called to ask what happened, nobody seemed to have a clear answer. I got a lot of excuses, although everyone was nice and apologetic. They did refund us and said someone would be reaching out, which I appreciate, but that's not really the point. This is also not the first time our cat has come home smelling like urine after being boarded here. The first time, I chalked it up to him being in an unfamiliar environment for five days. I understand cats can be difficult when their environment changes, especially one with anxiety and existing health issues. But this time, knowing he wasn't receiving his medication makes the situation even more upsetting. I specifically asked whether it was normal practice not to contact an owner when medication couldn't be administered. I would've gladly paid more or worked with them to figure out another option if it meant my cat was properly medicated and cared for. Instead, he spent the weekend extremely stressed, without his prescribed anxiety medication, and we weren't informed until after picking him up and discovering it ourselves. I don't have a dog, so I can't speak for how they handle boarding dogs. This might be a great place for them. But if you have a cat, especially one with medical needs, I would strongly reconsider boarding them here. After trusting this location with our cat for over a year, I'm genuinely disappointed in how he was treated. We will not be returning.
