She just tried to take as much money from me as possible, and refused to give me more than 100 dollars back for ruining my skin. DO NOT come here. You're better off at a dermatologist who actually understands how to treat acne and different skin conditions, and doesn't try to just shove random products down your throat that only damage your skin barrier and are not tailored to suit your individual skin needs and only help her get the most money she can. Even before this nightmare facial she gave me, I had used her products that she had recommended, and while it was mostly fine since my face had already been pretty clear, her products left my skin burning for months. When I asked her what to do about it or if she had any other products to recommend, she said the pain and burning was normal and fine and to keep using it. But it made my face red for months, and no normal dermatologist would recommend you continue to use products that burn or make the face red. She does not care at all about what happens, she's just trying to take your money. Completely awful service. Do not come here. She claims that there was no way a facial could ruin your skin. I asked about a Groupon I had seen, and the owner confirmed she accepted it. When I said I hadn't purchased it yet, she offered to honor the Groupon price if I paid her directly at the appointment. Based on that, I scheduled my visit. Later, I received a Groupon message offering an additional 20% off, making the total $129. The deal was too good to pass up, so I decided to go ahead and purchase it. To be courteous and avoid any confusion, I reached out via social media to let her know. I received no response. Then she emailed me a consent form that clearly stated no refunds--something that made me uncomfortable but felt forced to sign in order to keep the appointment. The day of my appointment finally arrived (I had to travel nearly two hours), and I was excited to finally get help with my hyperpigmentation. Instead, I was greeted coldly and rudely. When I reminded her that I had reached out about the Groupon, she replied in a very stern tone: "Yes, I know. You purchased it after you scheduled. I have everything documented." I became concerned about how things might play out, so I asked her if I could cancel the Groupon and just pay her directly instead to avoid complications. She told me no--she could not or would not cancel it. This left me with no real option but to proceed with the Groupon. At that moment, I felt completely uncomfortable--like I was being intimidated for choosing to use the Groupon. There was no smile, no warmth, just attitude. Then she said she would only treat one armpit. Seriously--who books a service for just one armpit? I had an important event coming up, and at that point, I felt pressured to pay an additional $192 on the spot for a separate 3-session package, just to have both sides treated. At no point did she ever say that purchasing the Groupon would void our original agreement. I felt misled, manipulated, and stuck. The whole experience was incredibly awkward--I even felt like crying. I didn't feel confident she would provide good service after how she treated me. After the session, she gave me no post-care instructions or recommendations. I had to go online and contact other professionals on Instagram for guidance on how to take care of the treated area. I was skeptical about returning for my second session, but I still tried. I reached out via social media, email, and phone. She finally responded a full week later, saying she was booked with no availability outside of work hours or on weekends--making it impossible for me to continue. I feel like she used her position as a small business owner to take advantage of me. She showed no flexibility, no understanding, and no appreciation for a client who was only trying to support her business. Eventually, I filed a claim with my bank for a partial refund, since I never received the full service. Unfortunately, the claim was denied because she submitted the consent form I had to sign just to be treated at all. I'm now going through other channels to try to get at least a partial refund, because I paid for multiple sessions and only received one--under distressing circumstances. They offer tea, water, and chocolates to their clients. The services range from facials, peels, microneedling, to massages. I tried the Vi Chemical Peel. Tamara was great about explaining how the peel works. She gave a post treatment kit (face wash, lotion, & spf) to use after leaving the office. Skin looked tan and shiny for a day and on day 3 I started to see the skin peeling. I saw the most peeling occur on day 4 and by 6-7 days fully renewed skin. The results were great! Next I tried the lymphatic drainage compression massage for 1 hour. This is a great option to do after a long run or tough workout. You will remove all clothing and they provide disposable underwear. Then you'll put on a white full body suit that zips up. They will then help you slide into this machine. Basically feels like putting on a spacesuit! Your eyes will be covered. Prepare to relax and maybe drift off to sleep for the next hour as the machine compresses around all your muscles. I felt like I slept for a few hours! You'll leave feeling well rested and refreshed!
