However, after recently moving to Summerville and recently keeping cars past their warranty, we were on the lookout for a local mechanic. We saw many positive reviews on Morrison and also on the phone they were extremely polite. Recently took the Volvo in for a brake line flush for preventative maintenance plus it was braking kinda funny, they took care of us and had us in and out around lunchtime. Clean shop, friendly folks, and prices were very reasonable. Taking the kid's BRZ in this week for some preventative maintenance and confident they'll take just as good care of us then as they did in the past. Overall, Kenny and Laura are great folks with a great attitude.

Both times my vehicle was quickly diagnosed and repaired in a timely manner which I truly appreciated. The owner is very approachable and helpful. Today my driver's window became stuck in a "down" position after I ordered my morning Latte and I could not get it to roll up. It was cold and drizzling outside, and I went to Morrison to ask for help. The owner, I think his name is Kenny came out and helped roll it up! He offered to get me a price quote on a new window switch and contact me in a couple of days with a quote. I am so thankful that Morris Nissan was able to help me and is available to assist with my vehicle needs.

They quoted me $483 which is absolutely ridiculous, they're working on on Covid prices so I shopped around and found H&H auto that quoted me 190 so much more reasonable, these guys ain't gonna retire off of my money!

Update (see original post below):…read more Bottom line: they found the problem, fixed it, shipped the car to us, and covered the rental car. Longer story: In response to my original post below, upper-management contacted me and offered to do whatever it takes to get the car repaired. I dropped off my car the day before we were supposed to move from SC to TN, and their master mechanic got to work on it early the next morning. He found the problem: their other mechanic cracked my fuel tank when banging on it to get the fuel pump out, which was causing a fuel leak. It's hard to believe this mechanic didn't notice this when he did it, which would have saved everyone a lot of trouble and Paul's Car Care a lot of money. As a result of the cracked tank, they had to order a new fuel tank, but we were moving that very same day. So, they offered to fix the car and ship it to us in TN. When I requested that they cover a rental car, they offered to cover $100. After a little back and forth, they offered to cover the rental car until they returned out car. A week later, they returned my car with everything working properly. -------- ORIGINAL POST Bottom line: they damaged my car during the repair and didn't fix it. The story: I brought my car in for a fuel pump replacement on 5/16/2025. They replaced the fuel pump, but now I can't fill up my gas tank. Brought it back to them on 3 different occasions, but they couldn't figure out the problem or fix it. So, now I can only fill my car up with a little more than half a tank of gas, which, as you can imagine, is very inconvenient. The manager, Cody, repeated said he was "stumped" and had to call others to try and figure out the problem. And, he would only bring up possible problems when I identified them first. Seemed like he was trying to send me on my way thinking there was no way to fix the issue. He also admitted that the mechanic working on my car was inexperienced, while simultaneously claiming he couldn't have damaged anything, specifically the fuel canister that is right next to the fuel tank. And, Cody continued to insist that the mechanic does reliable work, even though redo his work by reinstalling the fuel pump the mechanic installed... Cody did offer to replace the fuel pump, said he ordered it, and scheduled a follow up appointment. But, when I showed up, he said the part never arrived. He never bothered to communicate that to me before I drove all the way across town. And, he never offered an apology for wasting my time. To their credit, they did replace several parts without charging me, but this was not without some back-and-forth. And, at the end of the day, the problem still persists. So, I'd love a refund on the fuel pump replaced--the repair that resulted in the damage. Wasted a lot of time and spent a good deal of money with this shop only to be left with a problem I didn't have before I brought my car in. They're either incompetent or dishonest, or a combination of both. Very frustrating. I would recommend you try Gerald's or Marks Super Service Center instead of Paul's Car Care.

I arrived, spoke with Luke, showed him what I did and he said no problem. We can get it taken care of. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I was not expecting to get the truck back until sometime on Friday. I get a call this afternoon from Luke, Mr. Tim, your truck is ready. I was like what, no way! Sure enough. I went there after work to pick it up. I spoke with Luke as well as Stephen who rang me up. We discussed the warranty and even provided me with the old part. I drove home rocking a cold A/C the entire way there and it about froze me out of the truck. You could not even tell that they had to remove the dash to make the repair. Being from out of town I had no idea where to tow it. Got on Yelp, called Davidson Towing and he answered right away, told me not to worry he'd be there in 20-30 mins. He arrived as promised, got my car on the flatbed and took it back to his shop to be kept overnight. He has a calm and reassuring demeanor which was much appreciated. He took at look at the obvious culprits for my car breaking down and wasn't able to spot anything so he worked the next day to find a solution but wasn't able to. (We took it to Chevy and they couldn't either - something electrical that we hope was just a loose terminal to the battery which was tightened.) Thank you Dustin for rescuing me - much appreciated!

Then convincing me to buy a new engine that they installed. When the car overheated, Dustin gave wrong advice on how to keep the car from overheating. And we are now having to get every seal replaced in the newer engine. Bolts were missing, including all for the motor mount. I am now having to spend that money again to get the engine repaired. Edited to remove the he said she said but still would like to know why he cared what her parents (me and her dad) do for a living... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND COMPANY! Take this for what it's worth - if you want a response after he does crappy work and blocks you, a review is the only way to get a response from him. Maybe he could call and discuss this like a reputable company instead of asking his uncle for permission to take accountability and make a refund. Dustin - My messages show that I picked it up on 2/2 and on 2/3 my daughter texted that she was broke down on the side of the road. Your response was that you would pick it up with your tow truck. On the 5th you picked it up. On 2/7 you recommended wiring the car to have fans in at all times because he couldn't get them to turn on when the temp hits "210" degrees. As far as waiting this long to write a review, I have had it in the shop for a month getting seals placed, and bolts added that were neglected on your part, Dustin. I'm still waiting on the total so expect in the next month an update with a total of how much your inadequacies cost me.

What was once a great shop, has gone down hill - PLEASE READ…read more... I was a long time loyal customer, and Pat took advantage of me & lied to me.... I brought my car into Pat's to have some work done on it, including an examination of the cooling system which had been working perfectly, but I was just curious if it needed some maintenance. Previously, my cars operating temperature had never waivered even once. And for my job I spend a lot of time idling for long durations; not even in the summer did I have heating issues. Two hours after getting my car back from Pat's the temperature gauge spiked to the max, and my head gasket blew shortly after. I told Pat I would not expect him to replace the head gasket (a $2500 job), but I asked that he would at least refund me the $700 I spent for the services I had done. This felt fair as there was no way to prove the ultimate cause, but the timing was all to coincidental. Pat understood and said he would send a check out that day. The check never came, Pat ignored two voicemails from me following up. I cent a certified letter to his shop, which USPS returned to me saying they tried on 3 separate occasions to get a signature, but that none could be obtained. Pat damaged my car, cost me thousands of dollars, and just as bad lied to me. I had a great relationship with his shop and referred numerous customers to him over the years. So if he did it to me, don't think he wont do it to you. On a closing note, a few months before my incident, other friends I had referred to Pat's in the past took their cars there and both had terrible experience, which they attributed to Pat's new staff. Still, I wasn't deterred from taking my car to Pats. I should have listened to them. Please do not make the same mistake I made of thinking that you have taken your car there for years, it wont happen to you. Well, it will. If not now, sometime in the future.
