We did the Grand Circle Island and Haleiwa full day tour...I absolutely recommend it, especially if you don't have much time because it covers many of the most popular attractions in Oahu. It can be hard when I'm basing a decision on research but came across this company and gave them a try and was so glad I did! My executive let me know what a smooth experience it was and how comfortable the SUVs were. I also added on the airport greeting service since her family had tons of luggage and it was well worth it. Jason (owner) is extremely professional, responsive and really on top of his bookings. And with everything going on with COVID, I appreciate how he makes his guests feel safe with the level of cleanliness with his fleet and drivers. Just and all around flawless experience and I will 100% use Jason and his company again for car service bookings in Oahu. This is my new go to here!!

My wife and I recently booked a Pearl Harbor tour with Polynesian Adventure Tours, and while there…read morewere definitely some positives, the overall experience left us feeling rushed and wanting more--especially given the cost. The Highlight -- Leo the Tour Guide The best part of the entire day was our driver and guide, Leo. He was kind, informative, and thoughtful from start to finish. You could tell he genuinely cared about the guests and took pride in sharing the history and making the ride enjoyable. He truly set the tone in a positive way, and he deserves recognition for that. The Biggest Issue -- Time (or lack of it) The main problem with this tour is simple: everything felt rushed. We arrived at Pearl Harbor National Memorial around 8:25 AM and immediately started moving. By 8:27, we were already trying to quickly go through the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park. We barely had time to walk the submarine itself and didn't have any time to explore the museum building before needing to head across the complex for our 9:15 AM call time for the USS Arizona Memorial. Even though we were on time, we were initially placed on standby. After realizing we might miss our 10:40 AM bus return, we had to speak up just to get onto the correct launch. Because of that, we missed the 20-minute documentary that plays before visiting the memorial--which is a pretty important part of the experience. The memorial itself was meaningful, but the visit is only about 15 minutes, which felt surprisingly short given the significance. Ford Island & Missouri -- Not Enough Time Next, we headed to Ford Island, where we had lunch and visited the aviation hangars. These exhibits were good, but again, time was limited. Guided tours weren't clearly explained, and it felt like if you joined one, you'd miss seeing other areas entirely. The biggest disappointment for me was the USS Missouri. This was the main attraction I had been looking forward to my entire life. I could have easily spent half a day exploring the ship--but instead, we were rushed through it. I didn't get to fully experience the areas I wanted, missed out on exhibits, and didn't even have time to properly explore or enjoy the ship at my own pace. On top of that: We weren't informed ahead of time that the front turrets were under restoration It started pouring rain toward the end of our visit, and we got soaked The rushed schedule meant we didn't even have time to browse shops or grab anything onboard It turned what should have been the highlight of the day into the biggest letdown. Suggested Improvement One major area for improvement: transportation logistics. There were multiple hotel drop-offs at the end of the day, which took about 1 hour and 40 minutes before we even reached our stop. When you factor in pickup time as well, that's easily 2.5-3 hours of the day spent just driving. If the company reduced the number of stops to 2-3 max, they could significantly cut down travel time and give guests more time at the actual sites, which is what everyone is really there for. Final Thoughts This tour has potential, and Leo was outstanding--but the overall structure made the experience feel rushed and, at times, stressful. If you: Want to take your time Are a history buff or military enthusiast Or want to fully experience each site ...I would honestly recommend visiting Pearl Harbor on your own. You'll save money (around $500 for two people in our case) and have the freedom to explore at your own pace. Great guide, but the schedule needs serious improvement. - Dr. Rick

Then next morning we had to find the Hyatt for pick up and was rushed! I was not happy about that! On the tour we went to Fumi's a shrimp spot to eat which was good. Our driver Kapono was very nice guy. He suggested we pre- order because we would arrive at lunch hours , a busy time. He passed out this folder for everyone to write order , amount of order & changed owed. My partner and I order came up to $32 dollars and we put $40 dollars and never received our change! Now we definitely would of tipped that or let him keep it but I didn't like how he never mentioned us getting our change back!! Definitely funny move! Unprofessional business Tactics! Again very nice guy but I would suggest tell people have exact change or they won't get they're change back VS just keeping everyone money!! Now some people did write keep change, i wrote owed because I wanted him to return my change and let me tip my money if I WANTED!!!! You don't just keep people change!! WARNING!! DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY FOR A BOAT CHARTER!! Our boat didn't show on our wedding…read moreday (8/12) as promised and we still have yet to see the deposit refund!! I contacted Aaron via Yelp and he said that he could accommodate my request for a 24 pax boat from He'eia Kea pier to the Kaneohe sandbar and back for $1100. A rate that we'd regretfully find out was WAY TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!! He sent me pictures to my personal email of the boat (Manibuka parked at the Ala Wai boat harbor). It looked decent so we set up a time to look at the boat. My husband and I met Aaron and the boat captain, Kutay Satiroglu on the boat. Kutay requested that we pay a deposit of half the balance ($550) to lock in our date. We paid him via PayPal to lock in our 8/12/18 date back in February. Kutay seemed like a really nice guy at the time and offered to take us out to see the Friday night fireworks when it came closer to our wedding date so we can get to know him a little better and how he handles his boat. We took him up on the offer about a month out to our wedding date and had a great Friday evening. The Saturday before our wedding, Kutay called my husband advising him that he had left Ala Wai boat harbor and that they were on their way to the East side of the island. Then the nightmare happened. Standing at He'eia Kea pier in my wedding dress with 24 of my closest friends and family at 8:30 in the morning, I don't see Kutay's boat. I call him and no answer. I called him about 10 more times with no luck. Apparently, Kutay had boat problems overnight and didn't bother to text my husband until till 8:19 the morning of the wedding when our pick-up time was at 8:30. Furthermore, he didn't even bother to ensure that he got a hold of one of us to advise what happened and just shut his phone off after he sent his text message. We didn't get Kutay's text message till the next day when we went tried to get a hold of him to ask him what happened. My husband called him and Kutay apologized for what happened and explained the situation. As frustrated as we were, we told him that we just wanted our money for the deposit back. He agreed that he would refund us within the next two days. Three weeks later, after we get back from our honeymoon, we still don't see a refund. We text Kutay and he advises that due to the recent hurricane, he took a hit and so now he'll pay us back when he's able to. My patience is completely gone at this point. I text him that this is completely unacceptable and that he needs to refund us immediately. At this point, we are nearly a month after the fact and still have yet to see the refund. As of today, no response from Kutay. I call Aaron, a couple days ago to advise him of the situation. He stated that he knew somewhat of the situation but didn't know the full details. Initially, he agreed that this was a very unfortunate event and that he'd refund the money on his behalf per our phone conversation if it came down to it. He said that he'd first try to get a hold of Kutay to find out what was going on. Aaron texts me back yesterday and says that Kutay told him the same story that I advised and that he would need two more weeks to obtain the funds for repayment. (Mind you, Kutay hasn't responded to any of our text messages). Absolutely unacceptable I tell Aaron. I hold him to his previous offer of paying us back on behalf of Kutay and he proceeds to tell me that the transaction was between Kutay and ourselves and that he merely just introduced us and has nothing to do with the transaction. He states that he was just trying to help us because he's a "kind person". I don't doubt that but that still leaves us with no deposit refund. I would have never found Kutay if Aaron's company, Lux Limo didn't advertise that they do boat charters on their Yelp site. On the other hand, we also rented a mini bus through Aaron for transportation to our reception site and back and that was absolutely excellent. But after the morning fiasco we had, we were just happy that our bus showed up.
