I needed a root touch up and asked for an icy gloss to help with brassy tone. She turned my hair dark brown!!! They charged me $180. When I spoke to manager, she said it's store policy to not provide refunds. However, I can come back and have her fix it. There is no way to fix it unless she strips it or to add highlights which will fry my hair. Btw, The manager that called me back, didn't even do hair. She said she just manages the place. This is a way overpriced salon! She ruined my $250 highlights, and charged me $180. This was a $430 mistake that they made. Save your money and go anywhere else. For reference, The first picture shows my blonde hair a month ago (These highlights were not done at this salon, I tried to go back to the same girl who did them, but she was out sick) .the second one shows my hair after I left this salon. Showing it is not icy blonde like I had prior. I don't blame the stylist. They obviously do not train their stylists. I wouldn't trust going to anybody at this salon. You'd be better off going to great clips.

This has quickly become my favorite hair salon. I have short, fine, and very thin hair, which isn't always easy to cut well. Sonya gave me the best haircut I think I've ever had and then took the time to show me how to style it at home so I could get the same results myself. That alone impressed me. More recently, I went out of town for what I thought would be a week but ended up being almost three. Anyone with short hair knows you can't go very long without a trim. While I was away, my hair still held its shape better than usual, which really speaks to how well the cut was done. Sonya is talented, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients. I always feel welcome and never rushed. I'm so happy I found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great haircut -- especially if you have fine or thin hair. Get a Sonya haircut!

I bought the…read moreLiving Social deal they had for $25, so I said what the heck, I really didn't feel like doing my own hair. The place is really nice, warm, relaxing, and inviting. The receptionist was nice and friendly as well as everyone else. My hair washer was nice but nearly scrubbed my head to death, she was scrubbing really hard that it hurt, thankfully she asked if it was to hard and she eased down a bit. But she didn't use a detangling shampoo on my hair therefore it tangled all up. She asked me if my hair tangles this much and I told her not usually because I use a detangling shampoo and I always comb my hair out before washing it which she never did which resulted in my hair being a big tangled mess after she washed it. When she was trying to comb it out I could tell she was having a hard time and she tried ripping my hair apart which I could hear my strands of hair being pulled apart and she did not finish getting the tangles out of my hair before putting me in the dryer for a deep conditioning. My hair washer was black like me so I would have thought she would understand how to wash my hair properly. Oh and some of the shampoo actually smelled like smarties candy, lol. My hairdresser Amanda was really cool, she blew my hair really straight to where it already looked press, so I really liked that. Amanda's work if very articulate she really takes the time to make sure she does everything to near perfection. She did a good job on trimming my ends, although I really didn't care for the hairstyle. But for $25 it was nice to get my hair washed and straighten. The flat iron left my hair smelling a little burnt. They use Aveda hair care products which worked on my hair nice. So all in all, for the first time I think they did good, I think I will try them again in the future maybe. Update: they used my contact info to send me emails which I never agreed to, as well as text messages. I hate when companies do this, it's quite annoying.

I booked a color and cut for myself, as well as a cut for my 11 year old daughter. Whereas staff were very professional and kind, I did not receive the result I had requested. My beautician was Dawn, and I specifically requested the color I wanted. I showed her photos and everything. What I got was black hair when I requested red. Big difference. When she finally cut my hair it took a total of 2 minutes and was also not the result I had wanted. Dawn knew I was upset, and even acknowledged my frustration. However, she was out of the salon even before I could leave a tip. (I am not an animal, I still leave tips even for bad service. At least 15%) The best part was when I went up to pay. I was charged an additional $20 for a "comb through". While I haven't a clue what this is, I was still perplexed and inquired about it. I was told it was like a toner. This was crazy, as I had asked Dawn if I would need a toner and she told me no. I attempted to argue this point when paying, to no avail. I would not return to this salon. Horrible results and shady practices. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because my daughter was satisfied with her cut. She isn't the one paying, though.
