He's solely dependent on assistance at all times! **He was a patient for 11 days and was bathed ONCE!! (Shower days were Tuesday & Friday's) and was given one on **They FALSIFIED paperwork stating that someone bathed him in actuality his Physical Therapist was the one who gave him a bath. **No one came to look at his bandages to see if they were soiled, leaking or falling off for 11 days! **He's steady pressing the button for assistance to use the bathroom and no one comes!. *He's asking for help and he gets audacious response of, "that's not my job!" (By the CNA) *He's pulling the cord for assistance from an empty bed *He's wearing depends (that the family has brought him) because he doesn't trust the CNA's will come in a timely manner to assist him to the bathroom. *He'd asked the CNA to bring him a bucket with warm water & soap to wash up and the CNA's response is, "It's too late, you'll disturb your neighbors!" *** The physician assistant, NICK COLLINS IS RUDE, he absolutely has NO BEDSIDE MANNERS!! Needless to say, I'm VERY displeased Very about the series of events that has happened since my Uncle has been a patient here. My uncle broke his femur bone, so needless to say he's very dependent on staffing until he's completely rehabilitated. He's been a patient for 16 days (as of today)

The best part of this facility is the people working here! Everyone is truly caring from nurses, social workers, pharmacists, admission, doctors and more. This was my first experience with a skilled nursing facility, I was impressed with how much they do for the patients to keep them taken care of, fed well, entertained and on the way to fast recovery. My dad himself has expressed his gratitude multiple times towards all the care takers that assisted him, he felt especially at home when some of the nurses spoke to him in his native tongue. He recovered in just a week. Admission was fast and accomadating. They took care of connecting with Insurance company and helped my dad to move in first before I had a chance to go the next day to fill in paper works. I met the entire care team and was really impressed with their patience and attention to detail. I had left a note for them on a few things about my dad's condition and they promptly scheduled a meeting with me to go over them line by line. If anything, my whole family felt heard and taken care of. Definitely recommend the place!

She had physical therapy, played bingo 3 times a week and worked at least 2 crossword puzzles each day. While everyone was caring, a special shoutout goes to JoAnn and Evar! The director of activities was especially nice as well. While no one wants to see their loved one go into a facility, sometimes there is no other alternative. If the need arises, I highly recommend Valley Pointe SNF. My mom, Ms Bennie, transitioned at Eden Hospital, on October 15, 2025. Thanks to all the staff who made a difference the last 3 1/2 months of her life. Barbara Cogar Daughter

We simply asked her to get us hot water for grandma she just grabs the water bottle no words. Her demeanor is careless just from the few weeks of observing her she simply doesn't care for her patients and it shows through her actions. If you work in the healthcare at least enjoy what you're doing!!! If you go here make sure AMOYA DOESN'T take care of your loved one. I BEG YOU. My grandma passed because they simply couldn't take care of her properly. When my dad told Amoya his mother passed she said "i know." WITH NO EMPATHY??? We told Tina she hugged me and my siblings and wished us condolences. You can tell Tina cares and is passionate in taking care of the ill. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE.

See her below enjoying her crossword puzzle (but, don't worry, she had the opportunity for physical therapy before she got far into the puzzle!) The PT workers, notably Sanjeeta and notably Reggie (Reginald), have strong talents (and leadership skills) to help your loved one spend no more time in bed than is helpful for your loved one. There is a cheat sheet of exercises for your legs, hips, and arms which will get you strong. There is a gym, with the key equipment which can also help. If you do visit the facility, please take care not to get in the way of the hardworking yet cheerful staff as they do their important work. An appointment is not necessary. A greeter checked that I am fully vaccinated (I am actually double boosted.) and confirmed that I didn't have a fever. I saw two guys doing us all the favor that they took their iHealth test while they waited to go in to meet their grandmother. On May 13, I saw a staff member, probably a little over 30 in age, who was bringing the lunch out into mixed sun and shade for a guy who hasn't seen enough sun in the past two months. The guy has a Slavic accent (I think) of some sort, and both of them agreed the guy is overdue for a haircut. The staff member was so very, very helpful! And during what seemed to be the break time for the staff member who was making phone calls, he stayed with our likely Slavic friend. It was a "five-star" recommendation for Windsor Gardens. I am sad that I didn't feel eligible to ask the staff member his name. There isn't always enough parking in the lot under the redwoods; so the most recommended parking is on B Street or along side streets. Actually, if you are health conscious, a good way to reach this facility would be to walk a little less than one mile from Hayward BART; or you could look up a connection via #95 AC Transit to 6th and D St. (actransit.org) which would get you even closer to their doors. The #28 bus also stops right close on B St. as it travels between Hayward BART and Castro Valley, Bay Fair, and San Leandro BART.

I liked Baywood Court the best because there is no expensive buy-in and the monthly rent is reasonable. From number 16 on the waiting list I was able to move in at mid-February. I have a one-bedroom apartment of 600 square feet facing the pool. It's between two exits so it's very convenient for my dog to go out for his business. Plus there is a half-mile trail inside the facility for his daily walk. I enjoy going through the Rose Garden and the Gazebo along many beautiful flowers and plants. Living at Baywood is like living in a hotel or a cruise ship. There is 24/7 lighting and air conditioning/heat throughout the building. I get weekly house-cleaning, change of bed linens and towels. I just leave my garbage at the door and all the packages I ordered are delivered to me . The two meals a day can be stretched to three because of the many options I can choose. In the one year I have been here, I have not cooked one meal for myself. No more driving to the gym. I just walk down the hall to my Tai Chi, Chair Yoga, and Zumba classes. We also have lots of performance by outside artists and regular health and informational meetings. Just this week we had Martini Monday, Coffee Social, and Tequila Thursday. You can play pool, jigsaw puzzles, Mahjong and many table games at the Game Room. There are also daily drive to shopping and regular visit to museums and scenic areas. Baywwod also has many group activities such as Sunday mass, Thursday Bible study, grief sharing, Spanish class, arts and crafts, movie and sports night, etc. I joined the Knit Wits to make projects for charity. I am the inventory manager and also volunteer as a cashier for our general store called The Cubby. The staff at every Department here are friendly and efficient. I love the community of other residents. The management does such a good job that I was pleasantly surprised when our rent did not go up for this year. I am so glad God provided me Baywood Court where I can live out the rest of my years feeling safe and secure.

We are very thankful to both Jody and Nanette for making our visits extremely pleasant each time. They recognize barriers to multicultural communications and have developed techniques that build and foster multicultural communication. They show us the kind of love family ought to give when a lot us have no real family to spend time and bond with. when I say activities there are many not few, from Bingo, to Arts & Crafts, Cross word, puzzles, Coloring, Painting, Sculpturing, Ring Toss, Bowling, Hangman, circle words, to plain ole watching tv, Movies and popcorn, to raffling winnings to have our own little store to use our raffling ticket winning. The ladies can even come and get their nails done by the Activities staff. There are really truly many more activities. From janitorial were they keep the center very clean, next to godliness to housekeeping who makes sure you have the proper linen and bathroom toiletries you need. Then have CNA to ensure your well taken care of if you need a shower to aa diaper change while the NURSES are here for your medical wellbeing and on call Docters for case and emergency.
