I could hear the phone ring, people talking, and could smell someone's lunch. It was all very distracting, but I had bought a few so I had to come back to just hope for the best. I guess they had read complaints about those things because the next time I came, my door was closed and the masseuse asked if I wanted a face massage and went to wash her hands first. I've come a few times now, on and off Groupons, and think they are great. I often come after the gym so my muscles are very tight at first, but I always feel a world of difference after. Not quite a 5 because they still have to leave the room for the hot stones and sometimes have a quick chat out there. It's only about a minute but is a little disruptive for the mood. Also, the ambience could be improved. Sometimes there's no music so I can hear the cars passing. Also, maybe some aromatherapy scents might be a nice touch. Overall, I've been to a few places since moving down here and I always come back.

Wow! This is my new favorite spa!! I now understand why they refer to it as "a relaxation experience".....it was the most relaxing massage I've had anywhere in Nj!! It kind of has a 'high-end spa resort' vibe but its also charming and cozy like a neighborhood spot. The owner, Ellen, is this friendly, cool, boss lady mom who is an interior designer turned spa owner. She's clearly very passionate about creating a great experience because there's so much attention to detail -- the scent in the air, the lighting, the colors, the music, the tea (I had 3 cups), the furniture, the blankets, the fancy shmancy bowl that you soak your feet in - literally everything was ah-mazing! (She even had pants to loan me because i was wearing jeans). Anyway, wait until you see the design! Every inch of that space is whimsical and beautiful (even the bathroom is stunning)!! Can you tell i was impressed? : )) I can't wait to go back! I feel like i need a Den Massage every week - its heaven. Ellen, please start the Membership program soon so i can afford my "massage habit" lol. And let me know when you will be able to take a large party...I need to have my birthday party there! read more
