Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, and the entire experience was professional and seamless. I have never been much of a fish eater--I love shellfish, but what I jokingly call "swimmy fish" has never been my thing. Well, the cod they served completely changed my mind! It was absolutely delicious and one of my favorite things on the menu. Our officers and guests raved about the food throughout the evening. In fact, the officers enjoyed it so much that they were already asking if we could order our Thanksgiving meal from the same caterer! When you're organizing a large event, having a caterer you can rely on makes an enormous difference. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and they helped make our awards dinner a special evening. Highly recommend!

I just received a call from her stating "oh sorry we are not opened Memorial Day weekend." End of sentence. Matter of fact. No empathy. So unprofessional. I had to ask if she could refer anyone else. I just retired from banking after 49 years and am very proud of my customer service history. This by far was the WORST customer service experience I have ever encountered in my life. Obviously poor planning and communications on their part. They completed wasted my time. FURIOUS!!!!!

Their service to 150 people is very professional and they anticipated our needs like telepathy. Talmom Silva worked with our budget and made our event sing: the presentation of the food was exceptional. I love their chicken salad sandwich! The boxed lunch we ordered for the conference attendees had a sandwich or wrap (the chicken salad sandwich I had was delicious!), fresh fruit salad, choice of coleslaw or pasta salad, a bag of chips and a natural grain bar of honey and oats. I work with a lot of caterers and noticed that the team Talmom, Ricardo, and Giovanni work very well together and they genuinely enjoy being of service to other people and respect each member of their team. The simple reception we needed was done BEAUTIFULLY! Home Style Catering is an excellent partner for any event! I would want them to cater my own wedding reception!

Since we were planning a daytime event, we knew we wanted an eclectic mix of Indian and American dishes with several passed items as well as live stations. Amit sent over a long list with so many options for us to choose from - our parents were blown away with the creativity of the menu items. During the tasting, he was receptive to small changes my parents wanted to make and had a wide variety of things for us to sample. We had a hard time narrowing down our list because there were just so many great options. Amit was present during our final walk-through and had excellent suggestions for where different stations and bars should be placed at the venue. We wanted a mimosa bar and he was accommodating to our juice requests (mango/guava/etc). Most importantly, Amit was able to make Paan (a traditional Indian mouth-freshner) which my grandmother was delighted to have at our event! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and hope to work with Spilled Milk again in the future!!

I reached out to Spilled Milk Catering for a wedding quote and unfortunately the experience was…read moredisappointing from the beginning. While other catering companies responded within 1-2 business days, it took Spilled Milk nearly a week to get back to me. Once they did, they asked me to complete a questionnaire, which I did promptly. Sadly, I heard nothing for almost another week. After following up myself, they finally responded and informed me that they could not provide a quote unless I had already secured a venue. During that same week, we had spoken with 8 other catering companies who had no problem providing thoughtful proposals without needing our venue locked in. Spilled Milk's justification? "We are not a copy and paste catering company." The response came off more condescending than professional. If this is the level of communication and inflexibility they show before being hired, I can only imagine what it would be like working with them through the planning process. This whole interaction made my fiancé and I feel like our business was not worth their time. We regret wasting our energy on a company that clearly had a "we are too good for you" mentality from the start.

I'll start at the start--from the first email we sent to B. Lin Catering--they were responsive, helpful, and really thoughtful about our questions. That is no small thing, because we threw a lot of questions at them in that first email, and throughout the process, I mean a lot! But every time, Rena worked through our list in a timely way and responded to every single one of our questions with answers that were direct, and helpful. She was not just ready with answers to every question, but happy to provide additional suggestions and information from her experience, and proactive about raising and resolving issues in the plans we suggested we had not considered yet. B. Lin was one of our favorite vendors we worked with--and one of the most essential when it came to actually making the event we dreamed about a reality. From reviewing rental tablecloths and dishware, to suggesting tweaks to our floorplan and timeline, to setting everything out on the big day--and more. They also were crucial to the final clean up, and helping us ensure we got our venue security deposit back! The venue manager actually told us the place " was left in exceptional condition." OH and did I mention we were able to plan with them so effectively we flipped the room ahead of schedule? All night the B. Lin team was like clockwork. (but clockwork that knew how to adjust to the other ups and downs of the day around them!) And that's just about how helpful, detailed, and responsive they were to work with. I know what you're thinking--BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FOOD? The food was delicious. I can't really do it justice so you will just have to try it yourself. My only regret is we couldn't serve everything we sampled, because it was all so delicious! Star players include the buffalo chicken wonton, moneybag dumpling, and pork bao buns which were all HUGE hits during the cocktail hour. For dinner we landed on a stir-fry buffet, because it was not only delicious but gave us a lot of flexibility to for guests with dietary restrictions. I will admit now, my mother was initial skeptical of that we weren't going with the "steak or chicken" plate that was standard. But we knew we wanted something different, and tasty. In the end, she was completely converted by the end of the night. She may have told me how great the dinner was more than anyone else! But seriously, everyone loved the food, everyone! By the end of the night, me and my wife received a LOT of compliments--that really should be directed to B. Lin catering, Rena, and the rest of the team the helped us. So this is my attempt to pass along those many praises, as well as a few of my own. If you need great catering--looking no further!

I had to skip the burrito and fajita bars but the portions were massive and everything looked good.

Everything was handled through their online request for a quote and email. Responses were usually received within 24 hours. I never felt like I needed to pick up the phone and reassure myself that they were taking care of my request. The online quote form is very detailed and when I stated that the theme for my daughter's party was Lord of the Rings, they ran with it. The creativity shown in the menu was amazing. It made my daughter extremely happy from the start. Hannah definitely worked to keep the menu within our budget, offering suggestions on where we could tighten things. The week of the event, they were back in touch to finalize details and on the day of the event, Chloe showed up with the food at the designated time and was very professional and polite but also very approachable. She did an excellent job setting up and explaining all the dishes. Finally, the food! Absolutely amazing! The hits were the leaf-wrapped elven lembdas bread and Balin's spiced beef (brisket). The brisket was so tender it melted in your mouth. While those two were the standouts, the rest of the food certainly held its own and disappeared quickly. I would definitely use Farm to Feast for any future catering needs.

The ham and biscuits were pasty with deli ham; ropa vieja empanadas were unimpressive and doughy, chicken skewers were bland- looked poached, mini crab cakes were not memorable. The staff was responsive, available and worked easily with my contact so I had guessed it would be fine. I was moved by the name and had expected freshness, goodness and quality. I wanted my husband's reception to be beautiful with delicious food but instead, I was embarrassed with what was served. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the site, buyer beware.
