I went to Bass Pro to exchange for a different size. Apparently that specific location is somewhat more Bass Pro than Cabela's (systems not updated after the acquisition) and could not do the exchange without the original printed receipt (I have the card my partner used but they couldn't look it up in the Bass Pro system and refused to do the exchange for size). This is inconvenient but not that bad considering standards of corporate greed, but the attitude and dismissive derision I received for wanting the correct size was kind of nuts. They ride their bikes and they know them inside and out. They let me ride 6 different bikes and ride them over and over until I could make a decision. I ended up walking out with a Pinarello Dogma and weeks later I still can't quit smiling. They are a complete bike fitting stop as well. The owner right there and hands on and his staff is top shelf. We won't ever go anywhere else for our biking needs. We live 5 hours away from them but these are the only folks that will be touching our bikes.

Two years later and only 5 times using it, the board split a 10" gash in the seem. Mountain cultures refused to warranty the board, citing poor storage which is absolutely false. I do not recommend spending any large amount of money at this store. I was told I could purchase another board at cost. Don't feel spending another $1100 on on something that will fail after 5 times using it. Sure hope this company would stand behind their products. guess not

As soon as I arrived I was greeted and pointed to the right direction to find hockey items. Found what I needed. A great guy fit my little guy for a new helmet since he has out grew the one he got a few months ago. Oy! He was really good with him and made sure to try on a few and ask the right questions to find him a suitable helmet. After getting a helmet and some knew pads, we looked around the store to see what other items they had. Ended up buying a t-shirt as well since my little guy has a new obsession with Sidney Crosby? Boys! Paid for our items at the front counter and the girl was very friendly and nice. All in all, great experience and will be back for any other sporting needs.

Usually, i have to visit a number of different Sport Cheks if i'm looking for a specific product because of stock issues, but i find this location to usually have a great selection and more stock available than most locations. It's clean, organized, and easy to get around with usually pretty good staff. I'll run into some long line-ups onces in awhile which can be a bit annoying, but for the most part, they resolve the line-ups in pretty quick fashion.

Ideally, two cars would be best because you can leave one vehicle at the exit where the shop is and the other should be where the launch site is. You can also choose the shuttle service if you don't want to deal with driving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, describing the entire path. In addition, one of the employees were waiting for us at the end of our float to help take our boat in. The prices are pretty reasonable. We decided to get a 6 person boat for extra comfort and the 4 of us were able to lounge and tan in the boat. It was about 25 bucks per person between the four of us and the float was about 2.5 hours. The whole package comes with life jackets for everyone including 2 paddles. We absolutely loved our experience floating down bow river and we would definitely try lazy day rentals again as our experience was rather positive.

They had life jackets for everyone and took the time to make sure they fit right. It was about 2 hours - just shy of - from Edworthy to Eau Claire. We got off on the north side of the river past the peace bridge. Next time we would likely do the south side as the incline was less with kids - although the walk with the raft would be a little longer. Either way, great way to spend a warm afternoon and enjoy a little Stay Cation.
