Late night dinner takeout while family got fast food…read more I walked in and ordered beef noodle soup. It was fairly quick and nice service from the owner in an extremely small lobby area with dining upstairs evidently. Asked for chili sauce as it was right there and she fully understood but it was not included in my bag. Bummer. But it was a large serving well packaged in a big plastic bowl and lid with Saran Wrap for travel security. Lots of good veggies including bok Choy, ample tender beef with relatively little grissle, but did include a few very small chicken bones!!? They likely use chicken stock with the beef stock and glad I didn't eat them as I was loving it and eating fast. This is right next to Carnet De Voyage which was great too but closed at the time on Rue d Budapest. They had a pretty large menu translated into English.

Very small restaurant on Rue Budapest in a little street with several Asian restaurants. Ordered a…read morehuge chicken soup, green veggies (which at first when we ordered it was fine but then 30 mins later After we received our chicken soup), they said they did not have anymore! So bizarre. Why did they not mention it before or at the time of our order?! It was as if they finished all the veggies for other tables and decided not to cook it for us! Half way into the meal! The dishes did not even come together! The chicken soup was huge and was served hot pot style. The broth was decent and thick. The eggplant veggie was good. Overall, it was an ok meal. Without the mishap of the green veggies, maybe it would've been better.

This was a great find and a nice change of pace from the "typical" French restaurants. We needed a…read moredifferent flavor profile after two weeks of French and Italian food, and this place fit the bill. The decor was unique, the space was charming, and the service was friendly and attentive, both of which seem novel in Paris. Plus, it is in a great and interesting neighborhood! A must stop!!

Happened upon this little gem exploring Montmartre!…read more Super cute interior and welcoming staff greeted me as soon as I opened the door. The place was incredibly busy, and I was offered a seat at the bar. Water was served immediately, and handed a delightfully single page organized menu! Service was very attentive. I ordered: Aperol Spritz- which is the best one I have ever had! Edamame-as a starter. Veggie Ramen And mochi for dessert. The Ramen came out first which I was puzzled by, asking if I had ordered the edamame and a female waitress said yes it was on its way. She handed me an oversized bib to wear while eating my Ramen. It was absolutely adorable with fun graphic on the front. There were 3 different sauces you can add to heighten the spice of the ramen. And oh my heavens it was so good! Completely fresh ingredients.. a mountainous amount of veggies (no skimping here!) and all for 10€! Impressive! I couldn't finish it all, with the edamame arriving shortly after... but still managed to order dessert. Two mango + 1 cacao mochi. So darn good. I left incredibly happy, and full, and importantly with a smile on my face. Both the waitress and bartender/manager Thomas thanked me for coming in all with smiles! I will definitely be returning my next trip to Paris! I want to try the fish bao! And other cocktails that looked enticing!
