All right Yelp, it's been awhile. I have a love-hate with sharing my favorite places because then…read morethey'll get too busy but dusting off my Yelp review skills because this place really deserves all the hype and kudos. So if you're on the fence, get your popcorn, here we go. I am the queen of workout studio classes - cycling, barre, pilates, HIIT, Orangetheory, F45, Equinox, classpass. Been there, done that. Each studio has their upsides and purpose depending on your fitness goals but at the end of the day, if you're anything like me, each studio loses its glamour due to the repetitive nature of the classes. In comes Madabolic! So you're wondering, how does this differ and why is it great?? 1. The workout does a great job of keeping things fresh - cycling between Durability Days (heavier weight focused at 80% efforts throughout), Momentum (building momentum efforts at 70%, 80% and 90%) and Anaerobic Days (all out 100% HIIT in your face days). Different things going on everyday and don't let the titles "Durability" fool you that it's a specifically a weight lifting day or that "Anaerobic" is strictly a cardio day - all days include a good ratio of both. Trust me, you will be sore (in a good way). 2. The coaches (and the people)! Granted I do 530am workouts where I'm barely awake for half of the class, but everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly. Plus if you're a newb like me and working on your form, you actually get assistance with your form and help with modifying your workout if needed. 3. The difficulty. Finally a workout that accommodates both men and women (Couples workout? Day date? Anyone?). Similar to Orangetheory or F45, there are several options for weights depending on your level - but differing in the fact that the weight choices are clearly set by level so you know what to choose without having to guess and have something to build up to if you're looking to BUILD that muscle! 4. All right, the last thing. Let me address the elephant in the room - Boxing. Either you come in loving it or absolutely dreading it. I was definitely the latter. Every class includes it and I had maybe 10 minutes of boxing experience prior to this and hated this circuit so much in the beginning that I constantly considered quitting the studio every time. Hear me out - It grows on you and soon you'll begin to feel like a badass and recognize how great it is for your core and arms - trust me, it could be worse, you could be doing mountain climbers and push-ups everyday to work those muscles .

Great trainers and location. Super clean with a HUGE training floor and check in area. The workout…read morewas awesome (even though I almost died lolol) and I felt right at home like I was in charlotte. My ONLY recommendation is to have benches or some type of seating out in the check in area. people who don't like wearing their training shoes to and from their workout can sit and change their shoes. I felt weird sitting on the floor so I balanced and changed shoes standing up. Haha! Walked to the car and changed out of my shoes back into my regular street shoes. No big deal but definitely something to think about!!

F45 workout classes are great in general, but I recommend finding a different location. There is a…read morereason why the only positive reviews for this location are from over 4 years ago - ownership has changed, and the quality of this location is not the best. The schedule is geared toward early morning classes, since they canceled evening classes which doesn't work with my schedule. Management is nonexistent and some trainers just stand around on their phone and don't ever provide training or motivation. You are paying to watch the tv and have the weights set up for you. The F45 franchise standard should be having motivating, exciting trainers to push you to your limits... but that's not the case here. There is no community either. Most members walk into class late and leave immediately once the workout is over, no group stretching or announcements are provided. I feel certain that other F45 locations not owned/managed by this group do a better job at listening to member feedback on class schedules, provide better training, and work towards sense of community. I discussed these issues with management and they cancelled my membership 3 weeks early after I paid for a full month, on top of having to pay additional fees.

I started going here on their 2 week free trial and am so excited to throw my money at them now…read morethat the trial period is over. These workouts kick my butt and make me stronger every day. It's a circuit training type of workout that changes every day so your body never gets bored with the exercise. Owner Larhee is super friendly and welcoming. The two trainers I've met, Levi and Geoff, are awesome as well. Super encouraging and they have a knack for knowing what kind of coaching you need. If you need a little tough love, they'll give it to you! Definitely don't skip this gym!!

The…read moreconcept is working out in a 125 degree infrared sauna to help torch calories during and after your workout while watching a pre-recorded video workout. It sounded inviting and with all the variety of workouts you can sign up for, including pilates, yoga, cycling, rowing, bands, iso, and barre, I thought this would be an amazing new workout studio to supplement my gym membership. I ended up signing up when they were running a special so I got my mat & towel (which they require you to purchase) for free, which would've been valued around $99. Monthly dues are $59 for unlimited access to this location. At first I enjoyed going to Hotworx and trying out the vast variety of workout videos. However, about 3-4 weeks in, I had tried all the workouts at least once and I noticed the videos were the same and were never being rotated out. As with any workout that you don't change up, you will hit a plateau. They were boring and no longer challenging since my body was used to the same workout routines and I had practically memorized all the moves. After a month, I decided to put in my cancellation but I was then told that you need to be a member for three months before you are eligible to put in a 60 day cancellation notice. I've never heard of gyms/studios that try to lock you in like Hotworx did. Not to mention they NEVER disclosed the part of having to be a member for three months prior to putting in your cancellation notice when I signed up. Out of the five months I have been there, their workout videos have not changed once. They did, however, add in the new barre classes. If you're looking for a workout that is boring, predictable and you want the same exact routine, look no further. Definitely try out all the classes and make sure you want to commit to at least 5 months before you sign up here!

I had a terrible experience with Hustle House due to misleading billing practices and poor customer…read moreservice. When I signed up on January 26, 2025, Jason clearly stated multiple times that my membership was "not a contract." He explained that I was only getting a promotional rate for February and that after returning from vacation at the end of February, I could decide if I wanted to continue. At no point was I clearly informed that I was being placed on automatic payments or that I needed to give 30 days' notice to avoid being charged again. If I signed up on January 26, that would mean I only had four days to cancel before March right after I got back from vacation--which makes no sense! To make matters worse, I left a voicemail before the charge went through asking them to pause my payments, but they never check their voicemails. When I finally reached out, they refused to refund me, even though they are able to. Instead of simply issuing a fair refund, the owner tried to "remediate" the situation by offering me a 10-pack use pass--but how does that make sense? Why would I continue to use their facility after going back and forth over the fact that I was misled into signing up for automatic payments in the first place? That's not a resolution, it's just another attempt to keep my money. I never would have agreed to an auto-payment, especially since I am observing Ramadan this month and wouldn't have committed to attending the gym when their last class starts at 5:30pm. This entire situation feels dishonest and predatory. If you're considering joining, be VERY careful about their billing terms because they do not explain them properly and will refuse to take accountability.
