As an immigrant, none of my family members live in Texas. Daycare has been my point of care for my children, so I can go to work to support them. Little Explorers Infant Academy has been a blessing for me and my family.... Here's what I think: Health and Safety: Ms. Deana and her administrative team have implemented many policies and procedures to ensure that children are safe, secure, and able to learn in a conducive environment. I am happy that I have barely had to stay home due to my children's illness from childcare. If my children pick up a common cold or anything that needs immediate attention, I will not send them to the daycare to ensure I follow the rules to keep other children safe from illnesses. We must do our part as parents. They will return after feeling better or following the protocols in place. Teachers: I can only speak from the experience of the teachers I have had. Ms. Celia is simply outstanding! My son loves her to the moon and back....and he is only 1. He has been with Ms. Celia since he was two months old, and he knows her and positively reacts to her. She is warm and motherly and makes me feel safe with him in her care. My sweet girl has been at Little Explorers since she was five months old; she will be 3 in November. She has had some great teachers, Ms. Dorothy, Ms. Rosie, Alejandra, etc. These are just a few that I can recall at the moment. Class: The small classes make classroom management, teaching, germ control, and learning engagement easier. I have visited a few other daycares that would have been a more leisurely, shorter commute to work, but they do not compare or have the standards set from what I have seen at Little Explorers! So my commute to work is longer, but I know that my children are around people trained and vetted to work in this facility. The administrative team: Ms. Deana, Ms. Stephanie, and Ms. Angie are a terrific trio of women who try their best to ensure that the kids have a holistic experience in their growth and development. I do apologize for the epistle. It has been in my spirit to do this review for the longest.

She is learning so many words and numbers and she even has already learned how to color inside the lines. Very nice facility, great location, and I feel very safe taking my daughter here. The teachers regularly keep me updated on what she's doing and learning through messages and pictures. I was apprehensive about putting my daughter in daycare at first, but I'm actually so happy I did. This is a really good daycare and I highly recommend. Thank you Little Explorers

Online classes are available for the first half of the course which worked very well with school schedules. Three out of four of the instructors we dealt with were excellent; they gave good instructions, had a lot of patience and even more humor. The 4th instructor was a little impatient and inflexible in his directions. Oh well. The cars are clean and in good shape. Beki at the front desk went out of her way to make certain things ran smoothly and well for the clients; she puts customers first. This a very thorough teaching school; it might take a little longer than some of the other schools that seem to be popping up, but your new driver will be better for it.

Their curriculum is play and project based, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. They have Spanish class, as well as optional gymnastics and soccer classes. They are very safe and cautious in terms of COVID pandemic rules -- and when the case load gets better for a prolonged time, then they reassess. One of the things my family has most appreciated is their COVID policy. All teachers wear masks, and all kids above a certain age (3ish) wear masks as well -- aside from when eating & optionally when playing outside. They have chickens outside, a flower and vegetable garden, and rabbits and 2 aquariums inside. Right now, some of the classes are raising caterpillars into moths and butterflies, and they have just harvested some of the chicken eggs and will get to incubate them and watch them hatch! Such great experiences for kids of all ages to have. They provide gourmet lunches made in-house from fresh ingredients, many of which are organic. On Friday afternoons, you can also buy some of their house-made goodies -- they have an assortment of baked goods, desserts, soups, and savory/main dishes. If you are late on Fridays, they may sell out of certain items.

Dropped off some paperwork and she told me I needed one more medical form. I dropped it off the following week and was told that Ms Fran had retired and was no longer there.??...I was never given a phone call by anyone to tell me of the change. There was a new director.Thats a huge change. Mrs Fran was part of the reason we chose this place. I figured to give it a chance anyways. Nothing was as we were explained it would be. There seemed like there was no plan for the summer, they made my five year old take long naps even though he doesn't take naps and we were originally told that he would be able to play while the younger kids did. Every time I went in there there were different teachers. The internet viewing was down. I just had a bad feeling about it starting from the fact that no one gave me a call to even let me know what was going on. I decided to take him out. I called and left two messages on two different days and they couldn't even give me the courtesy of a phone call back. Apparently thats how they do business now. That confirmed I was right in taking him out of there. I would suggest people look else where.
