It was a great first experience. We were still able to rent a golf cart, which was a huge relief for me as we were doing 18 holes. I'm not a regular golfer so I can't speak to the course, except to say I enjoyed it. It was extremely windy the entire time, like you couldn't hear someone standing five feet away if they were upwind.. so that part was an adventure. Not sure if that is typical. Everything seemed to be in good working order. The only reason I dropped a star is lack of portapotties/bathrooms while out on the course. Playing 18 you end up back at the clubhouse (like normal) so we made our overdue bathroom break then and just didn't drink much water while out on the course. They are renting golf carts to people in the same households and the clubhouse is open for one person at a time to use the bathroom to maintain the social distancing.

Once we checked in, the guy told us we would be teeing off in "a little bit". Our tee time was for 1:16, and we checked in at about 1:05 ish. We then went to our car and grabbed our bags, and we pull up to the tee box before our tee time, at 1:14. We get there and the ranger is screaming at us saying that we are way late and that the whole course is now backed up, while swearing the whole time. He kept yelling at us as we tried to hustle, and he even made us skip the first hole while we still payed for the full 9 holes. Keep in mind that we were at the tee box ready to go, BEFORE OUR TEE TIME. Once we passed the first hole, there were already at least 2-3 groups waiting at the tee box for hole 3, and two other groups already on hole 2, so the hole course was backed up already. Then, about halfway through the round, I got yelled at and heckled by the group behind us for "playing too slow" when there were literally groups in front of us. If anything we were almost hitting into the group in front of us, but I guess that doesn't matter to whoever was behind us. My experience was terrible and I will never be coming back again.

We found both to be fair to middling. The bread "basket" is really just rye bread, but it was warm when it was brought out and as far as bread goes, it wasn't bad. I went with the BBQ burger medium, sans onions and sweet potato fries. But I actually received the bacon cheeseburger (no barbecue sauce), medium well; thankfully they didn't forget the SP fries! Because the burger was overcooked I needed to use a fair amount of ketchup to moisten it up and both the bun and sweet potato fries were quite good. My husband went with the fish fry which he found to be just adequate. Service was a bit uneven; they were quick to bring water refills to the table, but left dirty dishes long after we had finished and the entire dining room had cleared out. While I appreciate not feeling rushed out the door, I didn't need to stare at the crumbs on my plate for 30 minutes beyond the end of the meal.

Last Christmas (so almost one year ago) we bought my daughter's ball here and had the ball measured…read moreand drilled for her. This ball was her first fingertip ball so she learned how to use the ball and has been practicing for almost a year in leagues with this ball. When leagues started this season, we took the ball into the pro shop at our league facility and they told us the ball was drilled for a right handed bowler and even her finger grips were backwards for a left handed bowler. (Her ring finger grip is in the middle finger hole and middle finger grip is in the ring finger hole) It was also drilled on the wrong side of the ball to get the action for a left handed bowler. We had her re-measured and had the ball plugged and re-drilled at the other pro shop. (We chose not to go back to Best Fit because we had problems with another ball we own being drilled at the wrong pitch) I called Best fit to talk to the owner. He said my daughters drill sheet showed she was a right handed bowler. I asked why they would put that she was right handed when her left hand was measured and he couldn't give me an explanation. He offered to plug and re-drill the ball. We declined due to the issues over the last year. Then he offered us a new ball at their cost, which we also declined due to the fact that she doesn't need a new ball, it just needs to be drilled correctly. I asked if he would make it right and allow us to come in and pick out a pair of bowling shoes for my daughter. He said yes to that. Today we went in to pick out the shoes and he said he would give us shoes at their cost, or $30 off a pair of shoes. This was not what we discussed over the phone and we paid $65 to fix their mistake. He told us if he is going to give us anything for free that he is going to take her bowling ball. He also said there's no way for him to know that she was measured for her left hand. My daughter is, and always has been, a left handed bowler. He kept telling us "it's been a year" and that's why he won't do more. How was my 11 year old daughter supposed to know her ball was incorrectly drilled? She has never had a finger tip ball. We came to this "pro" shop trusting they would set her up correctly for leagues. We would have probably never known it was wrong unless we went into this other pro shop during leagues because her finger holes were tight. I am so disappointed how he handled this situation. We have been coming to Best Fit for years getting all of our bowling equipment and now will be going elsewhere since this is how they treat their customers when THEY made a mistake. With 2 youth bowlers starting in our family, we will not be recommending "Best Fit" to anyone we know.

A nice bar is positioned in the middle and they offer a decent selection of food options like pizza, chicken tenders, tots, mozzarella sticks. They have a bar, kitchen, and I believe 5 different screens with a variety of activities and games for all ranges of abilities. The owner was SUPER sweet and make sure we were taken care of. If you didn't bring your clubs, they do have some on site for those to use. The price for an hour is also inexpensive compared to other locations as well. We both felt so welcomed within this space. I can 100% see us coming back in the future!
