My experience was not good. I just left and the front desk person was super rude and would not let my wife and I play. He gave me attitude twice. We were willing to pay to play and would have been fine if we did not finish before dark. Please don't play at Kettle Hills. There are plenty of other courses. read more

I hadn't played Kettle Hills in over 15 years,the more things change, the more they stay the same(in a great way).They have kept all the things that make it a great venue to play(course condition,service and most of all the price!)We played the Valley(the have 45 holes,2-18's and a 9 and different difficulties for all types of players)and it was awesome. They even allowed us to walk(some places only want you to use carts as it makes them more money) which I hadn't done in a long time,at I loved it.Their prices are outstanding, given the quality of the course,I called around and they were definitely top of the list.What also improved was the food choices and quality, both are excellent now.Kettle always had a special place in my heart as I had a hole in one there(although Kettle never put it up on their wall of famethough)with my dad and brothers over 30 something years ago there on Father's Day of all days,so it was like seeing an old friend, who had not changed a bit,and was even better than I remembered. We find the fairways & greens are in excellent shape. We've golfed at Kettle Hills for nearly 4+ years. People know our faces & are extremely friendly & considering the busy course, all are on par with friendliness & recognition. We highly recommend. read more

The older guys in the red shirts need to go. Our 2some tee time was rushed up as soon as we pulled the cart to the clubhouse. The starter actually stopped the 2some in front of us from teeing off to have us be a 4some. 5 holes in, the was an older guy in a redshirt on EVERY tee box after harassing us to go faster. Mind you, the group behind us was still teeing off on the previous hole as we were putting. One employee claimed that we were 15 minutes behind while the on board computer said 6. Again, the group behind us was consistently on their 1st or 2nd shots on the previous hole. We were not holding anyone up, yet here came another guy in a redshirt to talk down to us and glare while we teed off. I wouldn't recommend this course for any casual golfers. These guys will remind you how bad you are, hole after hole after hole. read more

The course is beautiful. But I checked in ten minutes early for my tee time, to find that they moved my tee time up and made my group of 2 to a 4. The starting Marshall hurried us up and a Marshall followed us throughout the 9 holes we were playing. The Marshall told me I need to pickup the pace and I need to stop letting my daughter putt for me. When I looked at the time on my cart it said I was behind by 1 minute. The group behind us was 2 holes back. I had to explain to my 4 year old daughter that she can't putt for me anymore for today. I'm still learning the game and my daughter loves going to the golf courses with me. I'm disappointed about how rude this experience was. read more

Our Thursday night golf league played the Rolling 9 last night. The course was in excellent condition, the pace of play was quick and the beverage cart was attentive. I enjoy this course. read more

I used to love to play this course. Too bad there are no rangers who are on the course monitoring the pace of play, they overbook tee times and the golf pro is completely rude and disrespectful to customers. After numerous 9 hole rounds that were 3 hours long, I won't be back. Waited each hole to tee off. Then had to wait between each shot as numerous groups are stacked on each hole. They obviously don't care about players having a good experience; just packing the course and making money. read more

This review is about 2 very bad golf experiences and lack of customer service. In short they just want to cram in tee times and do nothing for pace of play. The golf pro lacks any concept of customer service and was downright rude to us. I have played my last round at KH after considering it my home course for 20 years. TL;DR Rangers are absent. Just played 9 holes at a pace or 2:45. Last week was almost 3 hours. I get that weekends are slower but Rangers should be out helping to teach people how to keep pace. When I called the club house as 6 carts were stacked at a tee the golf pro came out. He stopped his cart and walked towards me while I was playing a hole that already had people waiting. Nice job holding everything up even more by the pro. He asked what time I teed off. I said 3:15. He told me no and cited 3:45. When I told him again 3:15 and we were at almost 2 hrs for 5 holes he again told me no. He then told me if I knew anything about running a golf course I would understand that play is slow on weekend afternoons. Sorry he is too dumb to understand he insinuated I was a liar and was down right disrespectful. All he had to say was sorry sir I will see what we can do. I would have dropped it. Instead he chose to tell me the pace was fine and I was just a miserable person always looking for bad. Of course he said this driving away. The golf pro lacks any concept of customer service. They will cram tee times and won't do anything about it. I have played there consistently for almost 20 yrs. I have been pushed by rangers to play faster or pick up. I learned to have my son and wife tee in the fairway to keep pace from a ranger at this same course almost 10 years ago Sad they seem to not care anymore and just want to pack the course. The course is in great shape and is beautiful. Unfortunately you have seen my last round. Great way to make a long time customer feel like you care about anything but green fees. Oh wait. Have played here for years. I don't think there is a better course for the price. I don't think there is a a better course for the family that golfs together. I may be a bit bias only because when my friends child was younger, he was allowed to play with us when no other " family friendly " course would allow that. Our children are the future of golf. These guys truly are family oriented. With 45 holes, there are plenty of chances to get that elusive Eagle. Staff is truly attentive, and seem like good people. I do recommend Kettle Hills to everyone and I probably always will. read more

Kettle Hills is a fantastic golf course, with a great staff AND great food!!! I play there once a week and the course is always in great shape, staff is friendly, the variety of courses is fun (since they have 45 holes). They also to a fantastic outing business. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants a great golf experience!!! read more

I believe do to Covid-19, Kettle Hills has now become over priced and over booked. I had a horrible experience and would recommend not going there. You won't enjoy it. It used to be a good place to golf at. read more

I had the great pleasure of playing a quick nine and having lunch at Kettle Hills this past Friday. My friends and I were starting off a golf weekend, on our way to Erin Hills (before playing at Kohler for the rest of the weekend) with a few hours to kill before our tee time. We saw Kettle Hills from the road and said, "What the Hell". They got us out right away even though they had a corporate event just starting, great pace of play, and let's just say the greens fees are just slightly less than Erin Hills (about 5%). The course was in fantastic shape, the service (shop, bev cart, bar and grill) couldn't have been better. The greens were actually better than Erin Hills. Our Friday warm up nine turned out to be a great highlight of our weekend. Thanks! read more

Played here the other day after work for "Twilight". It's not true Twilight, but was able to swing a deal given the speed we were playing. The standard rate after 4:30 (or maybe it's 4:00) is $17 for 9 holes and a cart - a pretty fair deal for this class of course. Was able to get 16 holes in, in just about 3 hours as the course was wide open. Would definitely like to play here more given they have 45 holes. read more

Great course. There are 45 holes and very fun to play. Nice views and great maintenance. Greens are a little slower than other courses but I would definitely play here again. I personally like ponds and woods. read more

While the golf course itself is lovely, Kettle Hills has some work to do with regards to course management. I played here twice this season and both times management was subpar. The first time, the starter informed us that the course we would be playing (Rolling 9) was wide open and no one had teed off in past 10 minutes. However, upon getting to first tee box, it was already backed up, and we had to wait quite some time. The lack of paying attention to how many people were being sent to Rolling 9 resulted in lots of waiting around and the slowest round of golf . The second time the course was very busy and we were playing Ponds 9. There were several singles paired with twosomes to ensure play kept moving. The starter didn't notice that the "paired" single in front of us didn't go with his twosome. When we brought it to his attention, he addressed the single, to which the single just shrugged his shoulders and said he would be playing after them. This again resulted in waiting on the first tee for about 20 minutes, as well as caused a big backup (3 groups behind us). Again, the course itself is beautiful, but we are deterred from playing there because of the disorganization. read more
