We were thinking about returning the rescue -- but decided to give training a chance. WOW! What a difference with a just a few lessons. The CCBA owner, who we found to be warm and friendly, not only was there for all the hands-on training but came to our home for one-on-one training and even stayed an extra hour without charging us. Her knowledge of dogs and the dog training itself are next level, and we and our beloved new family member have benefitted greatly. We spoke to our vet about CC's dog training approach and the results we have seen so far (the anxiety barking has way toned down and no more lawn cigars in the house -- still working on the chew stuff), and he agreed one hundred percent with the CC's methodology. Thanks, CCBA. Jennie thanks you, too!

And then my dog started getting Jealous and not wanting toys out for the other one to play and it started get bad he was guarding his toys and treats and anything he got and was fighting with his brother so we all decided to pitch in to try to get the dogs trained to get them help and then they told me that my puppy had sibling rivalry well I called and bark busters and this guy I talked to on the phone had me sold told me they would come out 3 times a week what ever I needed for the dogs well they got there money and they sent Kayla out she seemed great the first time she had problems with the car she was stressed out about that and my husband went and checked her car and she left I even checker her and made sure she got home ok and she showed us some thing out side how to walk the dogs and mostly talked for the hours she was there and said do this and call for another appointment in 2 weeks I'm like ok that's weird gave here thousands of dollars to show my to walk back and forth Ok so waited and did that and nothing really changed waited till she came back she came in rushed last person on her list on her way home same thing showed us to walk the dogs and how to keep a piece a cheese Away from Them and then she went away for the 4th didn't see her for weeks and I texted her and asked her if we can set up more time for the dogs I was really having a bad time with them and I'm desperate for help with them and she turned around and sent me a messages letting me go after paying thousands of dollars to come 3 times for a half hour to walk my dogs it was terrible my dogs needed more help she said they was letting us go and not giving me any money back after coming and telling me it's as many times as they need the man said on the phone and then lied to my face and said he never said that and was telling me he had it o a recorded line which was another lie if he was recording me it was against the law because he never told me he was recording I and if I could hear the recording he lied there was never a recorded line and he lied making me think I he said it a rotten person and a theif I asked and he told me no he could never come out a few times a weeks and he told me on the phone that day they could I wouldn't of got it or paid this if it wasn't the case they it was recorded and he wouldn't let me hear it saying that it was against policy which I no he was a liar and now my dogs are suffering because they kept my money and o can't get them to another place which I would of sent one away to get the help he needed while he's still a puppy and these people really hurt us and now I have to separate the dogs and they can't be together and don't no what's going to happen now just because the kept the money after saying they could help my dogs and lied about it all so please becarful and check around don't be like me and jump into it because they said it would be fixed and help my pups and that's all I wanted and now I can't bring them anywhere because there greedy and said they couldn't help well say it from the beginning and don't take the money and Kayla acts all good while in front of you thinking she was so nice and then does what she did was horrible to the dogs there not beaches dogs so she don't care what happens to them but I do and that was wrong and don't trust the man on the phone he is mean and was such a mean person after trying to get money back I'm sorry but 1500 dollars each time she came out for coming out 3 times is high way Robery what she did to us - time to come out for 3 hours that's 1500 hundred a hour she got paid to show me to walk my dog back and forth o learn more on apps online helping me then what she stole from me l.. and reading Kayla's reviews why she started is the same thing I'm going through that she ripped me off the money to say they couldn't be helped after 3 sessions so for it to happen to her and then to do what she did to my dogs and take the money and I could of sent him to a place to have the help so he doesn't attack anyone or his brother she just didn't care only the money well it's wrong what they did and the guy on the phone is a mean person kept trying to change things around when I have someone that new the law and what he was doing was wrong and lie a liar about the recorded line just becareful because I'm stuck now with this because they took money that we don't have to do already and we did and got scammed be careful

During the three weeks we were apart, he shared daily updates--complete with training videos and photos--which made us feel truly connected to Jingles' progress and growth every step of the way. Dave thoughtfully tailors each session to your dog's needs and leaves no question unanswered, putting you completely at ease knowing your puppy is in the most capable hands. Jingles now has a true home away from home, and we feel grateful to have found trusted partners in her upbringing. After all, it really does take a village!

Unlike Augie, who was always sweet and extremely mellow even as a puppy, Nala bit us in the face, barked, destroyed things in our home and terrorized Augie to the extent that he would run away from her. We weren't sure we could keep her because she was so badly behaved and seemed untrainable. In the span of 3 weeks, David transformed Nala from a challenging puppy into a dream puppy. She obeys all the commands, walks off leash in our wooded neighborhood, sleeps hours later than when she left and most importantly she is able to play well with Augie who now seeks her out and willingly allows her even to sleep in his own bed. David sent dozens of videos so we could watch her while she was in training and learn the language she was learning from David. He kept in contact and was even able to drop her off and meet our other dog for a walk with Nala. Without Massachusetts Dog Training, we would likely have given our wonderful puppy away and never realized what a gem we had. David helped to uncover Nala's true potential and helped us to realize how smart, sweet and special she is. We will be forever grateful for his wisdom, expertise and love for our Nala.

On their website it states: "Pre-registration and payment is required to reserve a spot at orientation. Orientation is without your dog and does not count as one of your training weeks." So my partner and I signed up to learn more about their training, while looking at other options to determine what was best for our dog. We went to orientation on April 27th at 7pm where we received a booklet explaining their method and had a chance to ask questions. As our dog's aggressiveness was getting worse, we decided to start implementing some of their exercises in their book. We also agreed to confirm our attendance originally for May 11th and after emailing Canine University that we were struggling, we were moved to the May 4th class and confirmed our attendance. As our dog's behavior was escalating, we decided to contact another trainer that provided in-home service. We then emailed Canine University on May 4th that we would not be attending their classes and requested a partial refund. We received an email that they do not give out refunds and then they tried to convince us to go to the first class and then to private training. The cancellation policy on their website states: "Full refund if you notify us 48 hours prior to class start date. No refunds after the first class." We attended orientation and not a class. We asked where on their website the policy of no refunds after orientation was stated and have not received a response. If this business was confident in their training methods, they would operate differently and not be afraid to give customers refunds when no services have been rendered.

I reached out to Nikki's K9 training in a moment of desperation and could not be more glad that I did! Nikki totally renewed my love for my dog and has set my dog up for success at home and in stressful environments. After the first session with Nikki, I had a whole new dog! My puppy was calmer, able walk politely on a leash, knew how to look for leadership, and follow training directions overall. I worked with 3 other trainers (private and group sessions) and a dog socialization program without any progress before I met Nikki. Nikki's program and approach is the only thing that has made a difference in my dog's behavior. On top of the training, Nikki has a wealth of knowledge in canine health and nutrition. She helped design a feeding plan for my puppy that was customized to his breed and size. Nikki has been able to answer every question I've had related to dog ownership with expertise and compassion. Most of all, I appreciate how Nikki really understands my dogs needs. She does not try to train away what makes my puppy special. Instead, she customizes her approach to align the the dog's overall motivation which makes for a much happier puppy! 1,000,000/10

She still doesn't like other dogs or new people, but she's much less reactive now than she was before training with Nikki. I found this place and thought it would be great for my dog. My poor dog is a scared hound with horrible past. I wanted her to be a better dog so that I can do more things with her. I brought her to the place, paid with my own money (12 years old by the way) i paid $850 i saved for months. I was so excited i was successful for this. I got through all the training classes and the end was a big test to see if she passes. I was really exited to see if she would pass. Weeks went on and i texted her and she said some where in the spring the test would be, it's now the middle of the spring and i keep nicely texting her to schedule a time. She stopped answering me. Now it's the summer and i still didn't get a text. I was upset and told my mom, my mom then texted her and left my mom on read for a day or two. Finally she answered my mom and said we could do the test. I got excited again. Sadly she texted my mom back and was like sorry we can't do Saturday and i have no other time for her. i was disappointed in myself and made it seem like it was my fault. She then gave me back $150 back but to be honest i think i should have gotten $850 that i paid. im talking about Mary F. So If you want to get your dog trained, i would find somewhere else to go.
