I was told that in life you only need 3 things. A good woman, a dog and a good mechanic. Well, the…read morewife left, the dog died but I do believe that I was able to nail the 3rd. I found Garcia's Diesel to do a simple diagnostic on my truck, a Ford F350 6.7 liter diesel, that had been in an accident caused by a blowout on the freeway. The original collision center "fixed" it and gave it back. Fun fact, it wasn't "fixed". After months of back and forth with my insurance company and the collision center it was concluded that I needed to get a diagnostic done to find out if there was anything wrong. Mind you, the collision center assured me that everything was fixed and that they thought my concerns were all in my head. Enter Garcia's Diesel. They got me in and within 5 minutes of looking at my truck determined that there was a lot wrong. Like fraud level wrong. Like the front end, which was supposed to be fixed, was about to fall off wrong. Now, this is the point where I could've been taken advantage of. But what happened was the crew of the shop seemed just as mad about the situation as me. The owner, John Garcia along with the operations manager Trent Hulsey and their skilled diesel mechanic Scott, assured me that they would assist in any way they could as the long process of fighting with the insurance company (USAA) to get them to make my truck right. Assisting them was the office manager Laurne Ashelin who has experience with insurance claims, specifically with USAA, and was able to navigate the process to make sure that all the information gathered was properly documented so that the insurance had no choice but to make things right. Along the way they also found something else going on that I'd been dealing with that could've been catastrophic. They were able to work with me to correct that problem in the most cost-effective and cost-efficient way avoiding a much more expensive, and possibly fatal, issue with the truck. You Ford Powerstroke owners, change your CCV filter. If you don't know what that is, google it because it needs to be changed. Above and beyond is a rare thing in the business of garages. These folks get it. They weren't working on my Truck. They were gaining a customer for life. And in a difficult time made sure that I knew they were on my side and committed to getting me back on the road. In the word of Johns wife, Katlynne, I'm not just a customer, I'm family. And to be honest, through this entire process, I felt like it. 5 stars isn't enough.

I am trying…read moreto reach someone that is able to assist me in resolving a server issue that falls in the category of "Bait and switch" or possible "deceptive trade practices". On Aug the 7th I requested service for my RV with a hot water heater issue, the tech was quick and responsive, and after reviewing the repair , he made me aware that I needed a new hot water heater. He texted me the next day with options and pricing including trip charges (see attached) . I chose the more expensive option of a tankless for $2500.00 , he let me know he would get the parts and install it for the next day and ran my credit card , I did not receive an estimate nor did I sign a credit card authorization form, I saw a charge for $2500, the agreed upon price . The next day, he came out and installed the hot water heater , and then called me when it was complete. The call went like this. " I have some good news and some bad news, The good news is you have hot water , the bad news is that someone put the wrong heater in the box (bait and switch) and it was not an electric tankless that we originally agreed upon. I accepted the original equipment that he quoted , since I don't use the trailer and it was cheaper. He also let me know that the parts box was open and the safety door was missing, and I said he can mail it to me, so he did not have to make another trip. When I got home , I checked my bank and my email and got an invoice and here is the issue. 1. I was charged $2500 not the $1800 promised. To an Individual named Adam Wallow? 2. I was charged $1219.00 for a $520 part 3. I did not receive the original replacement , and my trailer was cut to make the new lesser unit fit. Causing further depreciation 4. I was charged $4330.46 to install a $520.00 approximately 1/3 the value of the complete trailer. 5. I was not given the opportunity to and approve parts and labor invoice or signoff. 6. Someone forged my Credit card knowing I would not approve the invoice.

These guys are a bunch of fraudulent operators. Beware!…read more They have changed me 4 times for one service. They got incorrect parts and tried to charge me for those as well as the right parts. They broke as much as they fixed. They have failed to produce invoices after the job and then fabricated others that do not match the credit card charges they made. Complete and total sham. Poor repair practices and lousy customer service.. Avoid if at all possible!
