UPDATE: It took a month but there was a full refund for the overcharge. You evaluate why it took a month for a $115 refund that had to clear several corp hurdles and could not be addressed at the local level. read more

I have one of their trailers. I emailed support recently a question about my trailer. When I didn't get a response in a week, I called to talk to support. The receptionist took my info and said she would have a tech call me when free. Two weeks later and I have not heard from them. This is typical of the poor customer service I have received from them at the corporate level as well as my local dealer. I plan to buy a higher optioned trailer in the next few months. I will not consider any of their trailers. read more

I am skeptical and concerned about what future issues I might have with my trailer and what kind of service I will get when/and if they do happen. I purchased a TrailerPlus, CarryOn, dump trailer from the dealer in American Fork UT. I purchased the trailer in Sept of 2025. When I got the trailer home I had to add oil to the Hydraulic reservoir, it was almost empty. After using it only 2 (two) times I had to add oil again to the reservoir. I could find no major leaks so I believe that the the dump system had not been cycled through, purged, allowing the cylinders to fill with oil. As I mentioned, I had used the trailer only 2 (two) times and when I connected it this spring I noticed that oil had been dripping off the end of the left lift cylinder. Upon closer examination I could see that the hose was leaking where it had been crimped to the connecting fitting on the rod end of the cylinder. There was also a spot of oil on the asphalt under the tee connections that branch off to each cylinder. I took the trailer into the dealer in American Fork, UT to have it fixed. Ty and Ryan told me that it should be a warranty repair and that it would take to or three weeks to get it fixed. This is where my frustration comes from mainly. I have worked in equipment repair all my life and know that the hose would cost maybe $50.00 dollars max and could be fabricated locally. It would take maybe three hours total, and that would include getting the new hose to have the trailer repaired. My concern now is that if I have had issues with the hydraulic system not being purged and a faulty hose on a lift cylinder, what other issues can I expect to come up and what kind of service will I get with any future problems? Regards, MDM Revised Review I have revised my review from 2 stars to 3 stars. I got my trailer back exactly one week after I had dropped it off instead of the 2 to 3 weeks like I was originally told. I believe the repairs were made sooner than expected because of the review I posted and also that I called the corporate office and expressed my frustration as well. It appears that the squeeky wheel does get the grease. It shouldn't be this way. Customer service is every bit as important as original sales. As much effort or more should be placed on service after the sale. This will help insure repeat sales and word of mouth sales rather than negative feedback. For the benefit of prospective buyers, I feel an update to my initial review is needed. While the pre-sales process was excellent, after the sale was completed, the post-sales "support" has been horrible. From a warranty issue/claim, to a question about the function of a "mystery" part included on the trailer, my phone calls and emails have gone unanswered and ignored. Evidently, this company only provides good pre-sales customer service...once they've closed the sale, they could care less. read more

My boyfriend just bought a 20' X 8.5' enclosed trailer for $11,000 from Trailers Plus in Nampa, ID in January 2022. Everything looked good & it smelled brand new. He loaded 2 Harley Davidson Trikes inside, combined value @ $100,000. Strapped them in and hit the road. After driving only 1500 miles he had to replace the Dollar Tree tires that the manufacturer "Carryon " had put on & sold through Trailers Plus. Because THEY WERE WORN OUT already!!! Unfortunately it was discovered that they used "builder grade" tires & all 4 had to be replaced. Before they blew out & cost the loss of both trikes, the trailer & a $200,000 motorhome that was pulling the may-pops. Their insurance company would be crying the "Ka-fukn-ching!" Blues. He had to spend $938. to put on up-graded tires. He is planning to stop by Trailers Plus on his way back home in a few days & express his disappointment & show them his receipt. Hopefully they will do right by him & I will write a better review than this one. read more

This is place a joke!! On May 6, 2021 we reserved a trailer at the Trailer Plus Tacoma location with a $50 deposit, that we have yet to get back. Our appointment to pick up the trailer was May 11, 2021 at 4pm. Upon our arrival they met us at the gate and the kid that opened the gate was a COMPLETE ASS. And the trailer we reserved was not at the lot, and we were told the trailer that was on the lot was what we did reserve. Wrong! While trying to explain to the gentleman behind the counter he was rude and argumentative that we were not going to do the deal as the trailer they wanted us to take would not work for us. That's when Jordan Flaherty stepped in and assisted to the best of his ability. He told us that the Marysville location would have the trailer we needed in their inventory in 6 days and I would hear from Jessy Hoerath. Jordan sent me a quote with the information for the trailer we needed/wanted that was going to be in Marysville. (that is a 3 hr. drive for us after we had just taken off work to drive an 1hr and a 1/2 to Tacoma.) The next week came and we had not heard from Jessy at the Marysville location. I called 05/18/2021 3 times throughout the day and left messages for him to call me. No reply. On 05/21/2021 I finally emailed Jessy and still got no reply. On 05/22/2021 I happen to look at the Marysville website and the trailer that we had been waiting for Jessy to call us about was in their inventory and was marked sold. So hoping he had done that for us to come and get it I called to confirm. He was "unavailable", so again left a message for him to call. And again no response. So I tried again this time not even the call center answered. Thinking I had the wrong number I tried again. Still no answer. So my daughter called from her phone and they picked right up. (odd?) I asked the gentleman that answered if I could speak to Jessy, he put me on hold and came back to tell me Jessy was with a customer this time. So I explained to the guy on the phone about the situation and he said oh yea that trailer has been sold and scheduled for pick up. So after waiting, at this point, for 2 weeks to get a trailer and no communication what so ever from the Marysville location I was beyond frustrated. The guy on the phone told me they had a 20', again it wouldn't work for us. So he told me "I don't know what to tell you these are on backorder or unavailable for weeks." I simply told him we would take our business elsewhere. I called Bulldog Trailers in Chehalis, WA and although they didn't have the 24' but had a 28' and it was a better deal we jumped on that. Moral to this story READ THE REVIEWS. They only post the good ones on their site. Their lack of customer service is absolutely ridiculous. read more

We bought a trailer from them. After we picked it up we noticed a small broken plastic part. Tried to contact them ...even to find out where we could buy one. After the sale...absolutely no contact. Even assistance during the sale was nonexistent. Even worse, our 'new' trailer had a rusty tongue. Overall, it was an extremely poor experience. If you can buy anywhere else, fo yourself a favor, and run away from this business. read more

I've bought 2 trailers from them and I should have learned my lesson the first time. But since they are local I thought I'd give them another chance.. the service is probably the worst iv ever had. After needing a part and calling them and ordering it (since that's the only way to get it) & i paid for the part over the phone when they ordered it so they were out no money. Since I didn't stop and pick it up and they called me twice they decided to let me know that they were shipping it back because it was taking up room at their location. Never mind the fact then it was only a box 8 inches long and 4 inches wide with a remote for a dump bed in it. OK I understand my part is jamming you up but after spending almost $20,000 for two different trailers I would think you can try to get ahold of me a few more times before telling me were sending a part back that I paid you in advance for. And then when I call to talk to you about it I get hung up on because I'm disagreeing with you that it should be sent back.... you say that's your policy to Hang up the customer if he is disagreeing with you ????? You guys are a joke I don't even know how you stay in business!!! It's a good thing you don't need my business since that's what you told me when I stopped to get my part. read more

Bought a new interstate trailer from TrailersPlus. Worst trailer I have ever had. They put a cheap tongue on it that wouldn't connect properly. They trailer came off while going down the I84. Poorly made trailers no matter what their sales people say!!! read more
